My biggest mistake of this trip to Yamagata is to book this hotel. It's a good hotel but it's in the middle of nowhere. You will want to stay around the city of Yamagata province which is also called Yamagata city just so you can get to famous tourist spots. However this is 4 hours away from all of these. I had to book another hotel so I can stay 1 day in the city when I wanted to visit these places and the traveling time just completely made me exhausted. It took like 1 day to go to a place and 1 day to go back. It was so terrible, I was crying. This place is closed to Shonai airport not Yamagata airport so I also had to book another flight from Shonai. I wasted so much money for transportation. It was such a terrible experience. However the hotel is incredibly beautiful with smart design in everything. I loved the onsen very much. If it was just a vacation/restcation for relaxing purpose or isolate yourself from the human word, it's the best choice for you. Since its in the middle of the endless rice field, there is nothing to eat except for paying very high price to eat at the hotel's restaurant. And the food was just okay. The beauty of this hotel was like a trap. Its like I was blind from its beauty and couldn't see all other disavantages.

We opted for a room with a view! It was spacious and beautiful, offering a great outlook onto the ski slopes opposite! The onsen was fantastic – so incredibly relaxing. This hotel is definitely an excellent choice for enjoying Zao's stunning snowy scenery. Just be sure to book well in advance during peak season, or you might miss out! Breakfast and dinner were absolutely superb! 👍👍👍

This is my second stay here. Although there's no elevator, and I have to climb stairs every day to eat, soak in the hot spring, and get out, which is a bit tiring, I still really like the peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. Every staff member is very friendly, the food is fresh, and the hot spring is fantastic. However, this time I unfortunately visited the women's bath, and several Japanese and foreigners went directly into the hot spring pool without showering first. I hope the hotel can refer to other hot spring hotels and post notices about bathing etiquette; otherwise, it really spoils the enjoyment of the hot spring.

A very good Japanese hot spring hotel. The environment is first-class, the facilities are excellent, the room view is excellent, the hot spring is also quite good, and there is a private indoor hot spring. Both meals are in separate rooms, and the service is also very good. You can make an appointment for the hotel to pick you up from the station, which is a perfect experience.

The hotel has scale, although it has some history, but the interior as well as the rooms are well decorated! This time this room is the most expensive, but the room has a private garden and private bath, the family soaking in the hot spring is very happy. The room has the latest TV to watch YouTube and Netflix.The space in the room is huge, I believe it can sleep six people, haha. The hotel's breakfast is typical Japanese and Western, more stock. The hotel has two large baths, men and women can enjoy the two large baths in separate periods, which feels good. The hotel has lots of free parking...

We were given an upgrade to our room. We were also very satisfied with the breakfast buffet, which included stewed Yonezawa beef.

Great location directly connected to Yamagata station. My room was at the South wing which seemed new. The room is on the small side for 2 adults but has everything we needed, was pleasantly surprised with the handy steam iron! There are 2 x coin laundry at South Tower level 2; vending machines; microwave oven. Ice machine on several floors. The front desk staff were helpful, they allowed us check-in before 3pm and helped make a reservation at Yamagyu restaurant, really appreciated their help. The location is really convenient with the taxi stand and bus terminal right in front. Lots of food options around it.

Laoqian Premium Hotel だけあり Equipment も Pick-up も Full く Problem ありません. However, one thing I was worried about was that I went to the dining room at the designated time at dinner, but I had to wait a long time. There was no more like a string to hold the sleeve of a yukata. It may have happened, but it was very disappointing because it was a luxury inn that I rarely go to.

I was looking forward to choosing steak or sukiyaki for dinner at the time of booking, but I couldn't choose it and decided to sukiyaki. It was delicious. Breakfast was Japanese and salty small plates lined up, which was a subtle feeling. the reservation site I was disappointed with the food because I felt that it was a buffet, probably because it was a difference. Is it better to bring all the amenities? The hot springs and rooms were clean and comfortable. Recommended for hot spring main people. But it may be difficult to move to people with bad knees.

It’s quite a big hotel, 3 buildings are connected and there are many rooms. The rooms are a bit outdated but still maintained well. Service was good and flexible. Transportation to the village is quite necessary when the roads are covered by snow, especially with luggage. They have free shuttle bus which is great. Best parts: 1. Dinner semi-buffet has unlimited alcoholic beverages including local sake, draft beer and wines. 2. Ski & board rental shop is right outside of the hotel. Although hotel only accept cash for the lift ticket, you can rent the gear (rental shop accepts credit card) and ski down the hill (20sec) to the cable ticket counter to buy ticket, pay by credit card. The location has lifts 5,6 and cable 4
