Мы останавливались в отеле одну неделю. Чистые номера. Балкон с видом в сад. Здесь по утрам завораживающее пение птиц. Приятный услужливый персонал. Бассейн с лежаками и бар с напитками. Смузи и соки здесь очень вкусные. Очень понравился местный чай с имбирем и молоком. Завтраки вкусные. Мы пользовались ме ресторана на ужин. Большая тарелка морепродуктов для двоих очень вкусно. Здесь и рыба, кальмары, осьминог, и половина лобстера, рыбная котлета. Да-да, рыбная котлета большая и очень вкусная. В номере давали воду и чай с кофе. Регулярно меняли белье. Для нас был один минус- это конференции, проводимые в отеле. Находясь в зоне бассейна не приятно, когда группа в черных накидках из порядка 20-30 человек осматривают отдыхающих. И да, до моря пешком 10 минут или можно доехать на тук-туке. Все же, это не в шаговой доступности.

Recommended modern place

Swahili Beach Resort is a great all inclusive resort in Diani Beach in Kenya. It's perfect as a base for staying in the area, with everything you need included. The rooms are spacious, the staff are incredible (and I mean incredible - nothing is too much trouble for them, they are so polite and will really go to great lengths to help you). The only issue is that if the resort puts you in a room that is different to what you've booked (in our case, we booked a Standard room and we got given a Superior room), it can be difficult for them to find your reservation in their backend systems. So ensure you go in with printed proof of your reservation and payment, and eventually it will all get sorted. Otherwise, it's amazing, the Dawa drinks are top notch and the rooms are spacious and inviting.

Excellent, soothing, with elegance . Wonderful room service with amazing reception. Classic views of diani, well designed swimming pool and comfortable amenities around. Kudos to the entire team .I recommend to all who wish to have a perfect stay at diani. Thanks .

Понравилась зеленая территория и небольшой, но удобный бассейн, создающий ощущение оазиса. Просторные номера, много розеток , просторная душевая, хорошие средства для душа и шампунь. Работает потолочный вентилятор. Кондиционер в номере можно включить за экстрапрайс, +15 долларов в сутки. Завтрак средний, делают омлет, яичницу и панкейки, вкусные сосиски из мяса. Но. Вся нарезка в баночках. И, ладно, колбаса, сыр, масло порционно в баночках, по три тончайших слайса. Но так же подавать огурцы и помидоры, которые в Кении стоят копейки, это смешно. На дне баночки 2-3 ооочееь тоненьких слайса. Поесть овощной салат утром нереально. Не разделяю восторженных возгласов по поводу еды в их ресторане, ничего такого. Некоторые блюда совсем невкусные. Три дня никак не могли не могли нормально поменять полотенца для бассейна. То не приносили и одного, то только одно. При этом, когда ты уже у бассейна и только что заходил в свой номер за полотенцами, которых там, к твоему удивлению (каждый раз) нет, ты вынужден доказывать на ресепшен, что полотенец опять нет. И ты просишь их все-таки принести, тк ты уже у бассейна, к бассейну. Но, эти удивительные люди упрямо не ту их в номер. Но не сразу, конечно, рекорд по скорости 20 минут, а так 40 минут-час. И это после 15ч дня, когда уборка в номере уже была, но полотенца вчерашние унесли, а чистые не принесли. И никто не извиняется. Для них это норма. В общем, слабый сервис, слабая кухня, расположение. Хорошая территория, бассейн, номера. Завышенные цены за минибар и в целом за кухню.

I noticed that many reviews mention the hotel not living up to a five-star standard. However, no one seems to complain that the price doesn’t match a five-star level either. In my opinion, this is an excellent hotel for the price. The property is spacious, the rooms are fresh and cleaned daily, and amenities like slippers and bathrobes are provided. The staff is welcoming, and the breakfast offers a great variety. From 4 to 5 PM, there’s a complimentary tea and pastries service, which is a lovely touch. The beach is beautiful, with plenty of loungers equipped with soft cushions. This is definitely a place I would consider returning to.

Everything was great with this hotel, from the view to the service. The beach is very beautiful and clean. There are quite a few of beach boys on the beach waiting to sell things to you. However if you tell them politely you’re not interested, they’ll leave you alone. It’s very close to Ukunda airport, only 10min drive. One major thing this resort needs to improve is the foods. The foods are no where close to a 5 star resort standard. They’re normal than normal. Limited varieties. This was the most disappointing part. However because of the superb view and services, I was able to enjoy the trip! Will definitely go back and hope the foods are good by then.

Amazing staff and truly exceptional service. Both G. and M. were always present, attentive, and genuinely supportive throughout our stay. They helped with meals and were always available whenever we needed assistance. Their hospitality made a real difference, and we are truly grateful to have met them and spent a few days in what feels like a hidden paradise. The location is beautiful—a peaceful beachfront property in a quiet, uncrowded area with plenty to do nearby. It’s about a 45-minute drive from Diani Airport, so having a car is highly recommended. Make sure to follow the Tiwi Beach exit rather than relying on the GPS coordinates to reach the property. It is also advisable to buy supplies, including drinking water, before arriving at the facility. The penthouse itself has incredible potential and offers stunning views, but unfortunately it is not well maintained and still requires significant work. Basic structural improvements are needed, including proper ceiling finishing, fencing, and treatment of the wooden furniture due to visible infestation. Another issue is that there are many open gaps and spaces around the penthouse structure, which allow insects and even cats to enter the room. This significantly affects comfort and hygiene and should be addressed with proper sealing and screening. Overall, the staff and location are fantastic, but the penthouse urgently needs proper maintenance and finishing to match the beauty of the setting.

Wonderful hotel - great location and also the facilities are great. The only issue is when the hotel is full - there are insufficient Beach towels. it doesn't help that most people take more than expected ie 3/4 more per person rather than one per person. We had to wait the whole day to get a clean towel. ( speaking to other guests - they collected their towels @ 7.30am or the night before...) . Would recommend that management bring in a CARD system for beach towels so that everyone has an equal allocation( when it is not full you can revert to the current system. ) Guest relations ( Marcia) is amazing and recommend speaking to her about anything local. She can advise you and help whenever possible. the biggest positive is the FOOD - it was amazing and the freshest of the cooking was visibly seen. the bar was quick to respond to drinks orders. the only issue is the amount of paperwork they need as most guests are on All- inclusive yet it was requested that the room number be given every time you ordered a drink. Perhaps management can review this? let the staff see the BANDS to decide which needs food orders or not

Its a great location and service is good but learned in my stay that I could have gotten better for the price I paid there but overall it great
