It is the best hotel in Mandalay! Being in Myanmar before I already knew that hotels would be expensive, but I never regretted paying the price of staying in Mingalar Mandalay! Will still choose this one over others!

We came here because we had a positive experience a few days ago.
For staying here second time the staff was not that kind like before. We had an early morning bus and didn't manage to book the hotel from the night before, because the bus was supposed to arrive in the mirning. Instead we arrived in the middle of the night. We only booked from mext day afternoon. We arrived to Aurora and asked to book a room from the night so basically 12 hours before our official check in. We said we would pay 1 night extra.
The night staff guy just didn't want to work and said there are no available rooms! It was not true. We slept in the hotel lobby, at least he didn't kick us out. Never again!

Как же я рада, что не пожалела денег и выбрала этот отель, он стоит каждой копейки! Прямо между древних храмов, которые находятся в пешей доступности и видны из ресторана и бассейна (бассейна 2, второй большой, можно устраивать заплывы). Рядом смотровая башня, с которой за 5 долларов можно посмотреть рассвет и закат. Большая территория в национальном стиле, с резными деревянными украшениями. Персонал приветливый и гостеприимный, столько нам помогали, с любыми вопросами! Заселили по приезду раньше положенного, помогли купить билеты на автобус до Янгона, поменять деньги, заказали тук-тук на целый день по храмам (водитель оказался превосходный, вез по своему маршруту и показал нам даже больше, чем я сама наметила). В ресторане обедали два раза, вкусно. Завтрак тоже нам понравился. Вечером у бассейна выставляют столики и проходят концерты. Так что рекомендую от всей души!

Хорошая гостиница. Удобные номера, быстрый интернет, завтрак шведский стол, еда, в основном, местная азиатская. В окрестностях гостиницы мало ресторанов, но в самой гостинице наверху есть бар-ресторан с открытой террасой и живой музыкой. Еда недорогая и вкусно. На ресепшене можно заказать такси по Мандалаю и билеты в Баган. Нам забронировали билеты в миниван и сказали, что в Баган не ходят большие автобусы, но это не так, как минимум автобусная компания JJ покрывает этот маршрут.

Красивый отель в старинном стиле.
На шестом этаже ресторан с обзорной площадкой красивый вид открываются на город, завтраки -шведский стол, вечером по крайней мере Сейчас у них happy hour - дают один коктейль бесплатно и так можно посидеть.
Недалеко королевский дворец, рядом несколько улочек с магазинами и кафешками.
Персонал очень предупредительный, приветливый - постоянно спрашивают всё ли хорошо улыбаются, кланяются, на входе стоит человек двери открывает закрывает. В номере каждый день ходят убираются, полотенца меняют, кофе с водой приносят. Неплохое место.

Нам очень понравилось в этом хостеле. Тут очень чисто и уютно. Персонал заботливый и помогает во всех вопросах, в том числе и с автобусом. Есть бассейн, завтрак. Можно заказать еду из соседнего ресторана. Есть прокат е-байков

Дешёвый гестхаус в центре ньяунг-у, расположение очень хорошее сразу же от него начинаются две улочки на которых много кафе магазинов недалеко есть храм красивый пристань, река
Единственная шумно немного потому что он стоит прямо на дороге у самой дороги, но к вечеру шум стихает Так что спать нормально.
Ну за такую цену И опять же вот это удачное расположение хорошее место
В принципе недалеко есть места с арендой электровелосипедов можно брать велосипед и кататься по бокам либо нанимать тук-тук А здесь только ночевать.

Location is the king. You can walk from the hotel to most places in old bagan. Hotel is just beautiful, gardens are eye candy. Cleanliness is questionable, I guess because throwing things on the floor is just normal in cultural way, as well as dust and spider webs are just part of the nature :)
Food is 10-40k, a bit more expensive then average. Massage is good, 30/40k for 1/1.5 hours.
Staff is unbelievable friendly and helpful!, they can easily forget something, but would try their best to help you.

AAnn SBPerfect facilities, they don't have a balcony but the cleanliness and beds are perfect. Very helpful and attentive workers. The restaurant's food is very elaborate and good. I recommend it 100%.

KKurzaWe loved everything about this resort. The room was spacious, very friendly and helpful reception staff. They were able to arrange a taxi for us for both days to do some sightseeing and transfer to Mandalay. The buffet breakfast was very good and they have a big selection of food for lunch and dinner. The pool and garden is lovely, ideal for the beautiful sunset in the evening overlooking the river.

GGuest UserDon't expect anything from the local Five Star News. The hotel's facilities and decoration are similar to those of ordinary hotels. When checking in, the floor is not air-conditioned and it is very stuffy. The check-in process is also a long time and it feels that the management is chaotic. The breakfast is hardly delicious. The only thing that is commendable is that the high-rise view is very good, overlooking the city, after all, it is almost the tallest building in Mandalay.

MMinqianqianI chose Bagan as my first stop for a 5-day trip. After staying there for two nights, I wanted a change of scenery, so I switched to a hotel in Mandalay that a friend recommended as good. However, after just one night, I immediately regretted it and returned to Bagan King. The service there is excellent, and because of its unique location, I didn't want to go around looking for food. The rooftop restaurant is fantastic – I think it's the best and cleanest restaurant I've eaten at in Mandalay. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time. The only minor drawback is that the rooftop restaurant doesn't have air conditioning. I suggest they could add some portable air coolers. I rarely leave reviews!

GGuest UserI'm so glad I splurged and chose this hotel—it's worth every penny! It's right among ancient temples, within walking distance and visible from the restaurant and pool (there are two pools, the second one is large, perfect for swimming). There's an observation tower nearby, from which you can watch the sunrise and sunset for $5. The grounds are spacious and decorated in traditional style, with carved wooden decorations. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they were so helpful with any questions we had! They checked us in early upon arrival, helped us buy bus tickets to Yangon, exchange money, and booked a tuk-tuk for a day of temple-hopping (the driver was excellent, taking us along his own route and showing us even more than I had planned). We had two delicious meals at the restaurant. We also enjoyed the breakfast. In the evenings, they set out tables by the pool and host concerts. I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very successful: we walked to the Royal Palace and looked at all the other sights. Well, when we hired a tuck-tuck to go around the suburbs, it is largely no matter where you are taken from. Around the mass of textile shops, many snacks, on the next street a large fruit shop, in addition, on the next street there were several trucks that traded durian at a throw price (compared to Thailand). There are COCO and AEON drogeries in step-by-step access, where at a fairly low price you can buy both noodles/rice, and a variety of fruits and local specialties. At the same time the place is quite quiet, we were comfortable in the room.
The average size room, cozy, there is air conditioner, teapot, safe. Every day they put the cooker, coffee, but for some reason they don't put the spoons in the bathroom, although the box under them is standing. Cleaning and changing towels every day, the lingerie changed every 2 days. The only thing I can do is that the waitresses are not very attentive, the bathroom ended soap and gel, and since they did not check the capacity, it was necessary to kick. In one day came at 16 - the room was not removed, too. For some reason there is no ”do not disturb” plate and the next morning to us the room broke into the room, it is good that we were both in the bathroom and the door was closed on the chain.
In the evening in 20.00 turn off the light, exactly for a couple of minutes, then turn on. Very weak inno.
Warned that on the last day it would be early to leave - cooked lunch boxing and even water didn't forget. Helped with ordering tuck-tuck for the day we planned to watch the old capitals, negotiated with tuck-tucker. Very nice and friendly.

YYEE THENGI stayed at Holidays Pier Hotel for 2 days during my business trip on November 2025 . The room was beautifully and clean. The location was perfect with city view. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. However, the air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

GGuest UserThis is an average guesthouse, a bit old now. The owner is very shrewd and always looks out for her own interests. We weren't too happy when the two rooms we booked were swapped for one triple room, with no compensation for us. To her credit, though, the owner did help us book bus tickets and a car for an excursion. There was no kettle in the room, but they gave us a thermos of hot water. Breakfast consisted of a jar of jam, a jar of butter, toast, and an omelet. There were also bananas and papaya, so overall it wasn't bad. We didn't go hungry. It's fine for one or two nights.
