MmindyTThis hotel is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well taken care of. It feels like a Ritz-Carlton but with even warmer, more personal service. The corridors are lined with plush carpets, the materials and finishes are all rich and top-notch, and my child immediately described it as “posh” — I’d add that it’s also very zen, peaceful and quiet.
The room is generously sized, quiet and very zen. The hotel is new, modern and “smart”: when you get out of bed in the morning, a soft foot light comes on automatically so you don’t have to scramble for switches. The kids loved pressing buttons to close the curtains, and I liked being able to choose between work lighting and cosy ambience at a single touch.
Service here is outstanding. Everyone is fully dedicated, responsible, warm and kind — and very prompt. Nothing is ever too much trouble; everything is handled politely, respectfully and thoughtfully, so you really feel safe and well looked after. The team also has a lovely sense of humour, which adds to the comfort and makes the stay feel relaxed and friendly rather than stiff. On top of that, they even helped me plan safe and cost-effective travel options — such amazing, value-added service.
Special thanks to Xiaoyu and Xiaoliu, who were excellent throughout. Xiaoyu especially made the extra effort to be promptly on hand via WeChat, helping with any queries even after hours — it honestly felt like having a friend there with us. The rest of the team were equally attentive and caring, and I noticed everyone would greet the guests, including the cleaners. It is a very well-run hotel: not just following instructions but offering real service from the heart. When we checked out, they even surprised us with bags of lovely snacks, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture.
Breakfast was wonderful. The spread has everything one could ever need: noodles and omelettes cooked on the spot with a rich meat stew, a choice of porridges (I especially liked the millet), plus Western and kid-friendly options, and many different drinks to choose from. Insider tip: don’t miss the croissant — it has egg custard inside as a filling! The toiletries, like the shampoo and soap, are specially made and feel high quality — another small touch that shows how much care has gone into the details.
The location is incredibly convenient. Huge malls and a hypermart are literally at the doorstep, and the MRT/subway is linked directly to the hotel. The nearby malls and eateries are massive and have everything you could possibly want. There’s an outlet mall about 15 minutes away, so shopping is definitely covered.
Practical bonuses: major banks are right downstairs, and if you need to change RMB, the exchange rate is very good and the fees are reasonable. There’s even a salon if you feel like getting a new haircut during your stay. Through the connected mall, you can find food of every kind, including Michelin-starred options — including a restaurant that serves crab cooked in liquor and delicious braised radish.
Although the hotel is luxurious, modern and packed with smart features, what I treasure most is the dedication, warmth and sincerity of the staff. I’ve stayed at many other hotel chains, but this experience is way beyond anything I’ve had before. This stay has now set a very high bar for other hotels to match.

PPengguna TetamuOverall, a good hotel when it comes to location, general cleanliness, and soundproofing, but not really friendly towards foreigners.
The staff at the front desk really need to improve their service and attitude, they were quite unapproachable and unfriendly. They also didn’t provide clear instructions during check-in. Nothing on how to access amenities for example.
Also, when I tried getting the late-night snack, they were just ignoring me on their phones. It’s only when another local guest indicated they should serve me first that they finally took notice. I felt uncomfortable approaching them with questions after my first encounter with them.
The only time they suddenly cared was during check-out when they tried to pressure me into leaving a 5 star review on the spot while they watched. It would be better if they just gently remind people to leave a review if they wish to.
For breakfast, there were lots of options but they should really label things and clearly indicate dietary restrictions like meat or allergens. It seems like this is not a thing in China but if you are catering towards foreigners, not everyone can just eat anything.
Lastly, for anyone who is really sensitive to smoke, I asked for a smoke-free room but could still smell it, especially in the shower. Not sure if the smell is coming through from other rooms, but either way you will catch a whiff.

RRoger KellerWe had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel during our family visit to Universal Studios. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home, and I can't say enough good things about Chloe and Melo. They went above and beyond to assist us, making our stay even more special.
The hotel is super convenient with a shuttle directly to Universal Studios, which made getting to the park a breeze. And the view from our room overlooking Hogwarts was just breathtaking! It really added to the magic of the trip.
One of the best perks is the hotel's connection to a huge, modern shopping mall, no need to venture outside to grab a bite or do some shopping. It's all right there, which was perfect for our family with a young kid.
The hotel itself is pristine, with a fresh, new feel throughout. Everything was spotless, and we could tell they really care about keeping the space comfortable and inviting.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a trip to Universal Studios. It's the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and great service!

PPengguna TetamuSangat berpuas hati! Lokasi strategik, betul-betul di Qianmen Street, hanya dua langkah dari stesen MRT. Mudah nak pergi mana-mana tarikan pelancong. Cik adik di kaunter depan pun sangat baik, lemah lembut dan peramah. Dia siap bagi tahu awal-awal masalah yang mungkin timbul semasa penginapan. Bila saya cakap tingkap agak kecil, esoknya terus dapat naik taraf bilik ke bilik teres secara percuma. Memang berbaloi dengan harga, antara hotel yang paling berpatutan di kawasan ini. Saya cadangkan!

MMaria.EzegwuI usually struggle to feel comfortable in hotels because I’m very much a “homey” person, but this place truly made me feel at home. The first thing that hits you is the size – the square meters are crazy. I’ve never stayed in such a huge apartment before, and it has a real wow-effect.
The apartment has absolutely everything – dishwasher, plates, knives, bottle opener, you name it. I also really liked the shampoos and conditioners, which are much better quality than what you usually find in hotels. The bathroom is spacious, the design is lovely, and everything feels high quality – from the washing machine down to the shower gel.
The swimming pool and breakfast were also very enjoyable.
That said, there were a couple of downsides. The place is so big that the cleaning isn’t always perfect – we noticed some signs of missed cleaning, and unfortunately we even saw a cockroach in the kitchen. I also noticed that the kitchen staff didn’t wear hats or hair restraints, which was a bit off-putting.
Location-wise, it’s far from tourist attractions and the subway – it took us about 40 minutes by taxi to get to the Forbidden City.
Still, despite these issues, this is a wonderful place to stay. I fell in love with the Ascott chain and would definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

📍 Location & Accessibility
From my experience, the hotel’s location on Xiaoyun Road in Chaoyang District is one of its key strengths. Being close to several embassies, commercial offices, and popular areas such as Sanlitun and Solana made getting around relatively convenient. While it is not in the immediate city-center tourist zone, I found transport straightforward, with taxis readily available and metro access within walking distance. This location worked especially well for business-related commitments and appointments.
🛏️ Rooms & Comfort
The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a calm and private environment after a busy day. The bed was particularly comfortable, and I appreciated the well-thought-out lighting and overall room layout. Amenities such as reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a minibar added to the sense of convenience.
That said, I did notice that some elements of the room décor and technology felt slightly dated. While everything functioned well, a refresh in certain areas would further elevate the overall experience. Nonetheless, the room met my expectations for comfort and cleanliness.

The hotel offers a good range of on-site dining options, and I found the breakfast buffet to be varied and well-organized. The café and lounge areas provide comfortable spaces for informal meetings or relaxing in the evening.
I also made use of the fitness and leisure facilities, including the gym and swimming pool, which were well maintained and easy to access. In addition, the hotel’s extensive meeting and event spaces clearly make it well suited for conferences, corporate functions, and formal gatherings.

Service throughout my stay was professional and courteous. Staff at reception and guest services were attentive and helpful, particularly during check-in and with general inquiries. While there were occasional minor communication challenges, these did not significantly impact my stay and were handled with patience and professionalism.

Overall, I felt that the Grand Concordia Hotel offers strong value, especially for business travelers or guests with embassy-related or professional engagements in Chaoyang. CCaseBooked this place because it was relatively cheaper than some other places that are smaller and farther. Room was huge, as we were just two friends so we have enough space for both of us. There was a laundry room on our floor you can use, and they have a robot to deliver food from your app deliveries. Location was, kinda far from the main attractions but thankfully didi is cheap. They change towels everyday but we noticed that the floors are sometimes not mopped enough for our standard but it was clearly passable. They have centralized air-conditioning so you can’t make it cooler on days that are warm unless it’s their summer season so you have to note that. Overall, they were nice to us with our queries and requests. Room’s spacious and they also have good breakfast option!

WwepanWe had a wonderful stay at Grand Millennium Beijing. The location is incredibly convenient, very close to the station and just steps away from a mall, which made exploring and grabbing meals easy.
The service was excellent. The staff kindly brought our luggages up to the room, which was a nice touch. What truly made the stay special, though, was the birthday surprise waiting for me: fresh fruits, a cake, and a handwritten greeting card. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really made me feel welcomed and appreciated.
The room itself was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was so comfortable that I had a lovely night's sleep. I also have to mention the view, it was absolutely amazing, especially in the morning when watching the sunrise over the city.
