Hotel Dengan Parking di Campania, Italy

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

Hotel davvero consigliato. La location è molto curata in ogni particolare un design alla moda e ricercato, le stanze confortevoli e dotate di ogni confort, la colazione con prodotti di prima qualità e ricercati. Il servizio spiaggia incluso nel prezzo è un plus….

Troppo rumore nelle vicinanze, la colazione non era nello stesso albergo ma in un secondo. Però niente male la camera.

We loved the Santa Chiara. We arrived late at night and it was a little hard to find, but I guess that is all part of the charm! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely and the location is unbeatable for the Centro Storico area. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The hotel is well located in front of the port of Amalfi. The single room is tiny but with a stunning sea view. Breakfast is simple and nice. Staff friendly. Nice experience in Amalfi.

Palazzo Vitagliano was exceptional! From the location, amenities, rooms, view and the staff everything was perfect for our 1 night stay in Amalfi. Excellent communication before arrival, offer to pick up from the port and carry our luggage, clear instructions on the B&B, excellent breakfast service and the most kindest service ever. Maria, Angelo and Colleagues were exceptional. Would recommend and one day when we return we will stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Albergo top con parcheggio privato. Camera accogliente e host super disponibile. Colazione incredibile in mezzo alle vigne. da riprovare! :P Veramente consigliato.

L'hotel è in una buona posizione calcolando che ci siamo fermati per interrompere il viaggio dalla Calabria a Roma ma non ci siamo sentiti accolti ma soprattutto non ci è piaciuto il fatto che per accedere alla wifi occorre dare i propri dati personali privati e non si possono escludere i cookies. Il personale non sapeva che pesci prendere e non ci ha aiutato. Conclusione la wifi non abbiamo potuto utilizzarla.

Hotel location is brilliant if you want to be close to the Central Station to travel to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Royal Palace, etc as this covered the main line, regional and Metro lines. Any concerns around the area being dodgy were soon dispelled as a Police car and soldiers were always close by. The Hotel was clean, the bed comfortable and staff friendly. The downsides were really around the restaurant. The evening meal menu was fussy and would not be suitable for families. That said, the location was great as there were lots of good restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The breakfast provided was fairly limited and even though an extra charge was applicable to porridge and other cooked foods, every time I asked for porridge, I was advised that 'it was not possible'. I believe that the hotel should not be charging for these extras, and they should provide what they include on their menus!
