Ssunnyc****The hotel is a separate farm on the hill opposite Orvieto, and you can enjoy the panoramic view of Orvieto from the hotel's grass, and enjoy the sunrise and sunset of the town.
The farm is well maintained. At the end of September, the stay was full of verbena, roses, etc., and a lot of chestnuts were picked up on the ground. Although the hotel area is not very large, the environment is good and the view is excellent.
Breakfast is also quite rich, with ham, cake, pie, bread, fruit and coffee, etc.
Very close to Orvieto, self-driving is very convenient, the next day to play in the town, the hotel manager gave us a map of the town, and gave a lot of suggestions. It is a good accommodation choice.

GGuest UserI chose the hotel because of its location almost next to the station (ca. 100m). The hotel had its best times about 20 years ago and looks quite worn. The carpet is full of stains, a lot of things need repair (shower heads, windows blinds and small applications around the entire building). The decoration and furniture is oldfashioned, dark and a bit battered. Lighting is very dim: there are a lot of lamps but with little light. The fridge had been removed from the room. The bathroom was convenient but its hairdryer was of the “oldfashioned hotel type” with barely enough power to dry hair, especially long hair.
In the corridors the wallpaper was coming offthe wall.
Breakfast was okay with a coffee machine that prepared coffee by choice but not in a good quality. No fruit, nothing fresh but heavy on sweet pastries. The interior of the breakfast room had seen better times.
Wifi didn’t work in my room, only in the public areas.
Before arriving I received an automated mail from the hotel informing about its restaurant (not existing/closed!!) and other services that never materialised. The receptionist didn’t even know about this mail.
The hotel is in need for a proper renovation.
The reception staff was friendly and multilingual.

GGuest UserGreat little B&B very close to Spello. We used it as a base to explore Umbria for 4 nights. The property is on a main road just outside the city walls with public parking across the road. We did find a couple of times when returning due to the bank holiday or the weekend that getting a parking spot could be sometimes difficult. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom however unfortunately there was a drainage smell issue which ruined our stay a little bit. We put a towel over the shower drain which fixed it for the most part. Breakfast was great with a savoury or sweet option per person, coffee and juice etc. You won't go hungry! It was too cold for the pool in May but we used the spa after a lengthy Roman trail which was amazing. Overall a good place for the price.

AAlexandraA decent hotel but personally not worth the price. The bar was constantly closed and we had to ask the front desk just to make a coffee, even over the weekend when you think they would want to make money. Location is no man’s land with some groceries and a highway next to you VERY far from center. WiFi was ok, some issues going out and in.
The pool was the highlight as we had it to ourselves for both days. Room cleaning was nice and prompt, what we would expect.
Personally both days we woke up with horrible allergies likely from their poor ventilation system. Could not open windows due to a sign from hotel suggesting Beatles would get in seasonally. Not justified for the price, just ok.

GGuest UserI have a lovely and peaceful stay though it was only for one night. I wouldn't leave unless I had a schedule next day. It is very close to Basilica di San Francesco and you can see a beautiful scenery of Assisi with the Basilica from your room. Facilities are a bit old but very clean. All of the staff was kind. Only the customer was talking too loud in the community room and their room at night because I could hear all of their talking. You would have very simple breakfast. Having said that, this might be a good choice if you did not expect a fancy hotel. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

NNixaSet quite a way out of Perugia town, a car is needed to access this hotel in the hills. It is a little step back in time. The room fixtures are early 70s and there’s nothing super fancy here, but it is a charming and relaxing stay. The room is spacious but the bathroom is tiny and really needs an update. Breakfast was a nice spread but staff were not topping up anything and most items had run out by about 9:15am. The front patio is a relaxing space to sit and take in the pretty flower pots. Staff are lovely and this was a terrific last minute option to access Old Town Perugia.

GGuest UserWhat an amazing experience we had at Borgo Petroro! From the moment we entered in the little hamlet we knew we were in for something special. The quiet location among olive trees makes it a good base to explore the region and the surrounding towns like Todi and Montefalco wineries. The room is beyond comfortable and sparkling clean. We enjoyed the facilities like the pool and the restaurant where we ate delicious food in the courtyard. Service is top notch! We especially loved the breakfast where local products are presented. Next time we are staying more than one night!

GGuest UserThe hotel gives the impression of being quite luxurious and special. It is in fact a clean decent basic hotel with no frills. The beds are comfortable and the superior room is basic but clean. The breakfast is very basic, mainly pastries and coffee without being able to order an omelette even with payment. The check in and out are very efficient and staff are very polite
The location is convenient and it is easy to continue your journey. Just don’t expect this to be anything more than a clean basic hotel. Expect a limited breakfast which in my view should be better. .

Altarocca is a place for couples looking to get away and spend some quiet time together. The hotel is located atop a lovely hillside overlooking fantastic views of Umbria. The staff is kind, generous, and accommodating and the restaurant on the property has a large variety of exquisite wine and tasteful cuisine.

HHobbyjalan2The hotel is located a stone throw away from the city center, in a short, beautiful residential street.
It must have been a mansion before it is converted into a hotel. It sure feels homey. It is tastefully and beautifully decorated. The 24-hour receptionists are warm and helpful.
We were pleasantly surprised as we were not expecting much. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here should we visit Umbria again.
