I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway. The location is excellent—very accessible and close to everything you might need. It made getting around so easy and stress-free. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight of our stay, offering a great variety of delicious options to start the day right. The beach was absolutely beautiful—clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. What I also loved most is that there are plenty of nearby establishments for food and leisure. From restaurants to small hangout spots, everything is just a short walk away, giving you more options to enjoy your stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would gladly come back again!

Great hotel right on Alona beach, far enough away from the noise but close enough to walk to the restaurants and bars. Stayed in a beach view room, was large and clean with the best beach view of any hotel I’ve stayed in. The sky infinity pool felt like the pool joined to the ocean. Also one of the best rooftop pools of any hotel I’ve stayed in and with the attached pool bar a great place to enjoy a cocktail or beer in the pool while watching the sunset. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Only areas of note that could be improved, the bath towels were of lower quality than I would have expected in a hotel of this level and the coffee at breakfast was terrible, luckily the room had a Nespresso machine.

The room was clean and spacious enough for the three of us, and the service was good value for the price. Access from the room to the pool was very convenient. The swimming pool is large and suitable for both kids and adults, with shallow areas on both sides for non-swimmers and deeper sections in the middle for more confident swimmers. Breakfast was plated and reasonable for its price. The room tended to be a bit humid, and the pool had a strong chlorine level, so using swimming goggles may be helpful. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

My husband stayed at Henann resorts (at 2 of the 3 hotels here) last year. We came at a time when the rates were quite low, so we could afford to get 2 rooms (we had our 29-yo son with us on the trip). The resort is right in the middle of the action at Alona Beach - but Tawala is the first hotel when you enter the complex, and is closest to the main road that leads up to all the restaurants/bars/stores, etc. of the town. You have to walk about 5 minutes the opposite direction to get to the beach (past another Henann hotel), but it's definitely worth it! They have part of the beach roped off for guests, and they have seats and sometime a band playing at the beach, so we enjoyed sipping drinks, sitting by the beach, and enjoying the activity of people walking and playing around us. The rooms have everything you need, quite high-end, except they do not allow UberEats or any other food delivery service - understandable, as they want you to use their hotel restaurants, and they do not want foods that would leave lingering smells permeating the rooms. We were very happy with this hotel, and really used it as a place to rest and restore in between trips.

Lovely stay! Beautiful hotel, with fabulous pools and direct access to a pristine beach with stunning sunsets. Service was also really good. Tons of restaurants to eat within walking distance. Top class place! My only suggestion is to install coffee machines for breakfast - espressos and cappuccinos are not complimentary, only brewed black coffee is served.

Great stay overall. Friendly, professional reception staff and a central location that makes getting around and finding food easy. The room was clean, with a couple of minor issues—a creaky toilet door and a keycard that didn’t work at first, though it was fixed promptly. Don’t miss RD Bar—good views and reasonably priced food make it a great spot to relax.

Hrmmm this one is a tricky one as we had a few unexplained situations. Firstly, the hotel itself was previously a Marriot 5-Star back in the day prior to be taken over in 2018 by the Seda Group. Secondly, there is so much ongoing renovation and construction that you need to be aware of; Noise coming from New Construction, the in hotel pool is unavailable from Feb-2025 and guests must walk across the street to another organisation's pool. Unfortunately this was a deal breaker for us. The food was average with cheaper and better tasting food located just minutes away by walking through the carpark. Overall the guest lounge (located on level 12) is a bonus but is super budget, not 4-Star Material. P.S. There is no rooftop bar, only a lounge overlooking a construction site. P.S.S The House of Lechon is 5 mins by Grab which is a plus.

All staff and crew have good customer service. The resort also offers free transfers to and from any point in Alona. They also offer airport transfer for only ₱100.00. Wifi connection is strong and breakfast menu is great! Most of the guests are foreigners. If your departure flight is hours away from the scheduled check out, you may leave your luggage at the front desk for free. had a very relaxing stay here and the resort is highly recommended😊✨

Staying at Oceanica was a great experience who wants to escape the bustle city life.... the views of the beach, garden and mini forests were quite calm and relaxing. If you want to get moving just head to the recreation and fitness facility... If you re hungry just head to the restaurants and bars, and enjoy the delicious foods and refreshing drinks. Room is clean and spacious.. staffs are courteous and nice. Will come back again, next time will tag along our kids.

We stayed at Savoy Hotel Cebu and overall the experience was just okay. The room was smaller than what was shown in the photos, which was a bit disappointing. The toilet was also quite small and did not feel as dainty or well-designed as expected. Another concern was the breakfast policy. We booked the room with breakfast for 3 pax, but only 2 breakfasts were honored because my daughter is already 12 years old. This was not clearly explained during the booking, so it came as a surprise. The hotel is decent, but clearer information and more accurate photos would help manage guests’ expectations better.
