I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Summit Hotel in General Santos, Philippines, and it was an exceptional experience. Here are the highlights of my stay: Rooms: The rooms are spacious and modern, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The contemporary design and clean environment made my stay very enjoyable. Staff: The staff at the hotel are professional, courteous, and very helpful. Their politeness and willingness to assist made a significant difference in the overall experience. Location: The hotel's location is very convenient, situated beside a mall and within walking distance to various attractions. This made it easy to explore the city and access essential amenities. Facilities: The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a well-maintained pool and a fitness center. These amenities added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of my stay. Value for Money: The hotel provides great value for money. The quality of service and amenities exceeds expectations. Overall, I highly recommend the Grand Summit Hotel for anyone visiting General Santos. The combination of excellent service, convenient location, and comfortable accommodations makes it a top choice in the area.

i booked familyroom when they pick up my aunt from airport and had eye check up the next day. its huge space , comfortable bed with 2 bunk bed, clean and Quiet place to stay and walking distance to st Elizabeth Hospital and SM gensan .

This review is based on the premier room which is P4990/night. The room was basically OK with plenty of storage space and a big desk (but no spare power sockets anywhere near it). The sofa was torn in several places. The wifi was reliable but only about 8mbps. The king bed was actually 2 single beds with a ridge in the middle. The TV signal was bad and the picture kept breaking up. The room curtains don't shut out the light because the A/C unit is too big and gets in the way, and the windows are not double-glazed so the traffic noise is seriously loud. But the worst thing about the room was the bathroom, which was tiny and impractical. There are no spare shelves to put your toiletries, and the shower design causes water to flow all over the bathroom floor. To see the room service menu you have to scan a QR code, but the hotel's website is broken so that doesn't work and you have to get someone to bring the menu to your room. Breakfast was poor quality (pizza? really?) and the breakfast room doesn't seat enough people so you end up waiting around for a table. No fresh juices, only sugar-packed artificial stuff. I saw an espresso machine after breakfast but wasn't offered this choice when seated. Overall, the Avior is extremely disappointing (everything looks pretty but is very badly designed) and I won't use it again. It's definitely way, way overpriced. The premier room is worth maybe P2000/night, no more. I dread to think what the standard rooms are like.

Booked for ₱1068. Sulit for its price. Just infront of Kcc Mall Marbel. Spacious standard room. Clean Cr with hair blower. Good amenities also from lobby to hallway to your room. Friendly well informed staff. They offer early check in of baggage. 10am promo early check in is not accurate here, instead they are 12noon. Still a good than 2pm. Got strong wifi too. Their snack or drinks in the lobby is kindy expensive or overpriced tho. Overall, good stay. Will book again if ever. Thanks 88 hotel!

I took a suite for a few nights (P3600/night) and, while calling it a suite is definitely a stretch, it does have a kitchenette and a separate day bed and window seat as well as the main bed. And despite the room being near the lobby, it was quiet at night. The room (in fact the whole hotel) is a bit dated - oak veneer and cream paint everywhere - and there are quirks (ceiling fan with no wall switch, kitchenette worktop light that won't switch off unless you reach in and unplug it). On the plus side, the bed is comfy and the A/C is quiet. There's a table and chairs as well as a desk, and plenty of storage including a laptop safe. The bathroom is small but has everything you need. The wifi, which is normally terrible in Gensan hotels, is actually good (60mbps, not many dropouts). Way better than the Greenleaf, Avior, East Asia and Grand Summit. The buffet breakfast is fine, though sometimes there's irritating background music in the breakfast room. Overall the Microtel is still a decent budget option and staff are courteous and helpful.

Fast checking in process at the counter. The staff provided proper instructions for wifi and breakfast. The location is in quiet area and is quite near to the park and other establishments which are walking distance. We had a comfortable stay. There is an elevator. The Aircon and cable TV worked well. The bed is comfy but it would have been better to have 2 pillows. Soap and shampoo are provided but no tissue. Drinking water is also available for free. Breakfast is basic. Parking is also available in front.

The stay was good except for the space was really micro, and didn’t expect this to be that small. The aircon needs to be fixed as it seems to be too loud. It’s an economy hotel and good for brief stay. The rates are good and just as expected. Did not accept credit card payment? The place seems convenient to nearby commercial area

No food available No staff to assist We need to find the person to open the door where we stay which is very inconvenience and not safe for me...even there's a cctv... what if my belongings be stolen? Could the CCTV prevent the thief to steal my things...it would be very hassle to report any incident then will my things be recovered especially money? I really don't think so...

It was the best microhotel that we've visit, well it's not our first time to visit GenSan and find a great microhotel. That this place is fantastic, a great environment and perfect ambiance at all. Staff are great too, and they actually serve a break fast which just amazing to enjoy it with my love of my life.
