The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Afanti sculpture, no more than 10 meters away, making it very easy to find. It's also within moderate walking distance to various parts of the Old Town. We arrived quite early, so many coffee shops weren't open yet. The hotel feels more like a guesthouse, and the whole family is very friendly and welcoming. The young guys at the front desk and even the children were very polite. The room was clean and tidy, and actually a bit more exquisite than it looked in the pictures. Breakfast offered a good variety, though most items were pastries and various flatbreads – carb and sugar heavy – along with some fruit. Overall, I highly recommend it 😊

I decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. The hotel is located north of Bukhara's Old City, with most attractions within walking distance. The Saffron Restaurant on the 3rd floor serves excellent food, especially the fried eggplant. However, the spa service was absolutely unacceptable. The therapist had an awful attitude and poor technique. Anytime we moved or were too tense during the massage, she would reprimand us with incredibly exaggerated, disgusted exclamations, completely ruining our day. On top of that, it didn't even provide the relaxation we sought. What's more, the time spent changing clothes was counted towards the massage duration, which would never happen in China. After writing a two-page complaint letter, the hotel offered a fruit platter as compensation and provided a written response stating that ”other guests in our tour group” were satisfied, implying the problem was ours. Yet, we were independent travelers who checked in alone, so the mention of a tour group was completely fabricated. Naturally, this was unacceptable. After a 30-minute standoff at the front desk, the final solution was a 30% discount, but then the fruit platter was withdrawn. As an incredibly arrogant hotel, I do not recommend staying here. They didn't even replenish toothpaste during daily cleanings. However, the rooftop restaurant is still recommended, with an average cost of around 200 CNY per person.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Boutique Old City, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, the hotel offers convenient access to major historical attractions, local restaurants, and vibrant الأسواق, all within walking distance. This made it incredibly easy to explore the cultural charm of the city without needing transportation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. They were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and even small personal requests, which added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. The room itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. It was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with attention to detail in both décor and amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas. One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day. Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination. Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.

During hot weather, the hotel pool is a great place to spend time. BUT!!! The pool is a huge plus, and simultaneously a huge negative because access to it is open to absolutely everyone for a fee, and on Sundays it's a nightmare – it's Ladies' Day, and you simply can't get near the pool. What's more, women swim not in proper closed swimsuits, but in whatever they arrived in, and get this, even in street shoes! No one pays attention, but it's unhygienic! On other days, conversely, ONLY men come. And as a woman, I feel uncomfortable when dozens of male eyes stare at me in my swimsuit! The hotel room costs $100 for one person, which isn't the cheapest price for Bukhara. The management should prioritize the comfort of hotel guests! Otherwise, the rooms are large and spacious, with everything you need: towels, bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo. The breakfast is delicious, with a great selection and everything is absolutely tasty. Special thanks to the chef for the porridges. My stomach was tired of pilaf and shashlik after a month, so kudos for the buckwheat and oatmeal!

We had two fantastic days here and were really blown away by the hospitality. The room was super spacious and spotless. The interior is gorgeous – you can tell they've thought of every little detail. I had a couple of requests during our stay, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They even gave us great tips on where to try authentic Bukhara plov and some really delicious shashlik. Breakfast was amazingly varied and tasty – everything was freshly prepared, and we absolutely loved it. The location is perfect too – just a 5-minute walk to the Ark Citadel, with convenience stores nearby and a big market where you can find absolutely everything, from souvenirs and clothes to fresh fruits and veggies. And on top of that, it's honestly the best value for money you could ask for. Highly recommend!

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were fairly clean, but no slippers or conditioner were provided. The hotel is located in the old town, a 15-minute walk from attractions and slightly closer to good restaurants. Be aware that the roads are quite narrow with many turns and a lot of traffic, so drivers may need time to find their way; it is recommended to walk out a bit or hail a taxi from the main street.

This was by far the best hotel during our entire Uzbekistan trip. The breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse, the facilities were top-notch, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

We had an amazing stay at Mirana Boutique Hotel in Bukhara. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is in a great location, with many of the main attractions within walking distance, which made it very easy to explore the beautiful city of Bukhara. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and very clean. The facilities are excellent; brand new and high-tech facilities. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was also amazing, with plenty of choice and something to suit everyone. It was a great way to start the day. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. Mirshod, Abdulaziz and Khayit went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their hospitality and kindness really made a difference and made us feel at home. Bukhara is such a beautiful and with very hospitable people, and staying at Mirana Boutique Hotel made our experience even more special. I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip. On my last day, my train schedule suddenly changed, departing an hour earlier. Even though it was early in the morning, I requested a transfer from the hotel to the train station. The staff member who checked me in was incredibly kind and helpful; despite my limited English, she made a great effort to understand me, and I really appreciated her hospitality. The driver who took me to the station was also very safe, and I was so grateful for the early morning ride. The breakfast was delicious too. The hotel had minimal amenities, so bringing your own toothbrush set is a must. Also, there was a distinctive scent throughout the hotel, but I got used to it after a few days. The shower had a slight sewage smell, but only when first turned on. I really enjoyed listening to the beautiful violin performances every evening, and being able to watch YouTube in my room was a nice touch.
