Always spotlessly clean. Reception always very nice. Rooms have all you need. Comfortable and Clean. USB sockets, reading lights and lamps, Samsung 32” Smart TV compatible with with mobile phones, tablets and pc/lap. Desk with desk lamp and luggage storage along with open wardrobe and bedside drawers/unit. Large full size mirror. The Queen size bed is comfortable and has plenty of pillows/bedding. Bathroom is one of the best I have seen In hotels with modern and clean fittings. Subway tiling with chrome finish fittings, large bath with waterfall shower and over bath shower attachment for when just your hair needs washing. Huge fitted mirror with lighting and ample space for your toiletries etc. Towel rail and door hooks all complete the better than most bathroom. Towels and toiletries/hand wash/kettle and mugs, glasses, quality hangers and the attention to details all complete a good value room. The hotel flows on to the pub/ restaurant. Being Green King the food is all good. An extensive food and drinks menu. Easy and user friendly app allows ordering from your table for food and drinks. Overall the convenience of both hotel and bar with good service and good value a highly recommendable place to stay whether your here for business, leisure or just a night or two r&r The New Inn @ Green King always hits the mark. If you have breakfast with room it's served at the restaurant with hot & cold options Continental and Full English. Both perfectly presented and quality products. Parking for guests is free and input of car registration avoids any after stay fees.

Very nice hotel but extremely poor check in service, nothing explained to us and extremely rushed service, the only thing the person seemed concerned about was getting payment for the room ! As Silver members we are supposed to receive a priority welcome and free drink each which we had to ask for. We were staying in a suite on the 15th floor and when we arrive our key card does not work so back down 15 floors again to get a working key card which is not the best way to start a trip ! When we finally get into our room it was very impressive but only 1 bath and hand towel for 2 people ! After hunting high and low for more towels none could be found so here is the best bit we thought logically we would contact reception but there are no phones in the room. Honestly there are phone points but no phones so and this is a first for us we had to call externally from our mobile phone to reception to get more towels ! After having travelled a while we both wanted to freshen up by taking a shower on a hot day and then the towels actually arrive 45 minutes later ! Asked the lady who delivered them about no phones in room and how we had to contact reception she then promised to find out and come back to.us as soon as possible and guess what we never saw here again. We contacted accor customer care helpline to tell them about our experience and we're assured that this would be dealt with promptly only to find after waiting for 2 hours that the lady we spoke to had not dealt with the complaint but had gone out to lunch !!! Eventually accor customer care contact the hotel and we are emailed in regards to our experience and quite frankly at first we were made to think it was our fault well that's the perception we got. After speaking to the front desk manager it was revealed at check in we should have been given an information sheet in regards to our stay containing all information we may have needed for our stay such as how to contact reception etc via a what's app system by scanning a qr code in room. But this raises the issues of what if people do not have a smart phone or a mobile phone at all or are not tech savvy like some people. Also what if an emergency situation arose surely a phone in the room is vital dare I say liglfesaving if a situation arose ! The front desk manager was very sympathetic to the bad experience we had received and seemed genuinely remorseful and embarrassed at the level of service we had received. She went above and beyond to try and put things right by offering us a future stay in the same room we had booked a suite. We decided to take up this offer but since then for our stay we have been booked into a classic double not the suite we have been promised !!!!

The hotel was really food, the only issue i had was with the transportation from newport to cardiff which is not hotel’s fault, but just something to keep in mind. The public transportation is really bad on the weekends

Spotlessly clean is my first impression of these apartments, followed by well equipped, neat and concise. We had great views of the river. It was quiet. The windows don't open which I was relieved about because we have a child but there is cooling air con in rooms. We had a 2 bedroom which felt really spacious for the 3 of us. I woukd stay again. We didn't spend much time in Newport as used it as a base.

Hotel is located very close to motorway junction. Easier for travellers for a nights stay. The hotel also have enough car parking space. Unfortunately the room I stayed had a very bad odour. The shower and toilet were also cramped but I dint mind as I was staying only for a night. Not ideal if you are staying for couple of days and planning to spend most of the day in the room.

I stayed at this hotel recently for a conference at the ICC, and I must say this place was great in terms of cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. I will be staying here again for future trips! The walk to the ICC could be better as you have to cross many traffic lights, but that's for the council to fix! Loved the breakfast by the way!
The Manor House at Celtic Manor

We had a brilliant 2 days playing golf on Roman Road and Montgomerie. The courses were in excellent condition particularly the greens which were very challenging. The rooms in the Manor were very comfortable. The buffet meal was really good with a great choice of starters mains and desserts. Breakfast in the Manor was also excellent. The only criticism is the change in layout of The Montgomerie course switching the 2 nines. A long walk now between 9 and 10

2nd time here and I absolutely love it, it ticks all of the boxes! Great leisure facilities, lovely environment, well kept hotel. Great service, everyone always so helpful, and I will definitely be back again. Pic of me relaxing by the pool! Good location too, close to Cardiff (we went to the Harry Styles concert)

Check in staff were lovely. The room excellent and very warm and clean. I will book again without hesitation. 3 minutes walk to the railway station and shops etc.

Very nice hotel in that region. One of the best I've stayed. Facilities are complete. Only thing that shocked me was parking is not free.
