I recently stayed at the Chalet Hotel (Xi’an Bell and Drum Tower) and it was easily the highlight of the trip. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of location, style, and comfort, this is it. First off, the location is unbeatable. You are steps away from the Bell Tower and the Muslim Quarter, which made popping out for late-night snacks or sunrise photos incredibly easy. Even though it's right in the heart of the action, the room was surprisingly quiet and felt like a peaceful escape from the city buzz. The design of the hotel is super chic—very modern with a touch of local character. My room was spotless, the bed was like a cloud, and I loved the high-end amenities they provided. It definitely feels more like a boutique luxury experience than a standard hotel. What really pushed it to a 10/10 for me was the service. The staff went above and beyond to help with local recommendations and transport, making everything feel seamless. Whether you're here for the history or the food, this is the best base you could ask for in Xi'an. I’ll definitely be booking here again.

The hotel is very good and conveniently located near many attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The room was comfortable and the overall environment was pleasant. What made the stay even better was the excellent service from the staff. In particular, Jason provided outstanding support and service throughout my stay. He was very helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist whenever needed. His professionalism and warm attitude truly made a great impression. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The family is extremely accommodating. They picked me up and dropped me off at the train station as well as Mt Huashan. The lovely woman was so helpful with getting me tickets to do the buses and cable cars which I had trouble doing myself online. The man was also very lovely. Very clean facilities and graciously accommodating couple. Wished my stay was longer and would definitely come back again!

The hotel is very well located, but unfortunately the management and service do not feel professional or well trained. It feels more like a family-run operation, which makes me question why it is classified as a 5-star hotel. Breakfast is very basic, with very limited variety — so little that it can easily be counted. During winter, the bathroom water hose has very weak water pressure, and it takes a long time for hot water to come through. I shared this feedback with the front desk, and to be fair, a lady manager followed up immediately after I checked out and waived my breakfast charges. I appreciate her prompt response, but overall the hotel experience does not match 5-star expectations.

I really liked staying here! The hotel was lovely and clean, very conveniently located, and the cats are absolutely friendly and delightful. I was very pleased with the Ancient Wall View from my room - close enough to see, but not close enough that people were looking into the room! The room itself was also perfect for me, with a comfortable bed and a very modern bathroom. Getting in was miiiiiildly confusing, just because I didn't realise that the hotel requires walking down a tiny (clearly signposted) alley to get to the stairs - not too bad, but I had to walk past twice to realise where I was. Overall a great stay!

首先，位置很好，位於漢台區， 酒店設備都很舒適，衞生很乾凈，從房間就可以看到花園，很舒服，窗簾都是自動的，房間也提供了足夠的飲用水，還是農夫山泉的。 每天早上的早餐也很豐富，不管是中式還是西式都不錯，停車場也很好，有足夠的停車位很方便。而且出門一百多米就有一片很大的區域，裏面有各種各樣的餐館可以供你選擇，總之無論是住宿出行還是飲食都非常好，

Fantastic hotel. Staff so friendly and helpful. Just lovely. Had a room with balcony looking at the wall, lovely spot to relax. Morning market was fantastic, just a 50 Metrewalk away. Proximity to the wall and eateries is terrific. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We will definetly be going back. Thank you so much for such a wonderful few days

他家位置超讚，離華山很近，來回遊客中心、高鐵站都是老闆開車接送，不用自己扛行李找路，對爬完山腿痠的人太友好了。訂票、購物、買裝備酒店裡都能辦好！房間裏乾淨整潔，全屋小度智能還有投影，床品舒服，隔音也好，爬完華山累到虛脱回來能一覺睡到天亮。還有在他家堂食跟飯店一樣老闆親自下廚，手藝非常棒。帶孩子住了兩天也不無聊，孩子和老闆家的女兒玩耍，相處的很好。

My stay at the W Hotel Xi’an was simply outstanding. W is truly synonymous with quality and perfection, and this property fully lives up to that reputation. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with staff who were exceptionally attentive to every guest’s needs. Their professionalism and warm attitude made an excellent first impression. The buffet restaurant offers a high-level dining experience at a very reasonable price, with a great variety of quality dishes. The bar is equally impressive, serving excellent cocktails that are both creative and delicious. The room was equipped with every comfort you could ask for, and the cleanliness was impeccable throughout the stay. Overall, an exceptional experience — I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xi’an.

Compared with many other hotels, this one is quite special and does not feel rigid or conventional. It has a unique character and a very pleasant atmosphere. The service provided by every staff member is exceptionally attentive and courteous. The facilities are also very comprehensive—almost everything you could think of or need is available. I would especially like to praise the quality of the daily amenities provided, such as the toothbrushes, combs, and other toiletries. They are of excellent quality, even better than those offered by some five-star hotels. The hotel itself is a two-storey traditional-style building, and being located right beside the Big Wild Goose Pagoda makes the experience even more special. Staying here truly feels as if you have stepped back into ancient times. Another major advantage is the location. The hotel is situated between the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the famous Great Tang Everbright City. The surrounding area is very lively, especially at night. There is the spectacular Big Wild Goose Pagoda fountain show, and the Great Tang Everbright City is filled with shops and restaurants, making it extremely convenient for dining, sightseeing, and evening strolls. 相比起很多一般的酒店，這間酒店給人的感覺非常不一樣。它沒有那種制式、刻板的氛圍，反而充滿了自己的風格、情調與特色，整體環境讓人感到十分放鬆和舒適。 酒店每一位員工的服務態度都非常殷勤、細心，令人感到賓至如歸。酒店的設施亦非常齊全，基本上你能想到、你所需要的東西，這裡幾乎都能提供。 特別值得一提的是酒店提供的日常用品，例如牙刷、梳子以及各類洗漱用品，品質都非常好，甚至比一些五星級酒店提供的還要優質。 酒店本身是一座兩層的仿古建築，再加上它就位於大雁塔旁邊，住在這裡真的會讓人有一種彷彿置身於古代的感覺。 另外，酒店的位置也非常優越。它正好位於大雁塔與大唐不夜城之間，周邊環境非常熱鬧，尤其到了晚上更是精彩。附近有著名的大雁塔音樂噴泉表演，而大唐不夜城更是商店與食店林立，無論是逛街、吃飯還是晚上散步都非常方便。
