Its close to the station but couldnt hear trains or traffic so that was ok. So its a good location. But thats all there is. The hotel is dirty, small rooms and the cleaning people start cleaning early. So if you still sleeping you gonna wake up hearing the vacum cleaner....plus its way too expensive for what you get...i wouldnt stay there again

Close to city center; public transportation next door; strong beds with descent matras; bathroom in the room; storing food/drinks in fridge was no problem BUT Staff is not familiar with procedures and way of working: * Booked breakfast at reception on arrival; didn’t receive the necessary QR-code and/or our name/room number was not on the list of the staff * Made reservation for parking; reply form hostel was, that this is available and we just have to ring the bell to enter the parking and at the reception we’ll pay during our check-in; when we rang the bell, the staff member told me to check in fiets; at the check-in the other staff member, who checked us in, told us that we can ring the bell next time :-s

Close Proximity to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (train station, just approximately 8 minutes walk). I am amazed at the complete furniture, even microwaves to cook our breakfast for the following day. More like an apartment than just a hotel. Nice stay

I travel a lot and usually dont care about the exterior of the Hotels but the inside and staff is important. Worker at the desk was very polite and skilled when i checked in. When i entered the room... abt 300 Euro a night! To say its old to say nothing - like in the old good USSR times in Moscow, Sankt Petersburg, DDR side of Berlin! 40 years ago, what a nostalgic feeling, smell of old carpet, never cleaned AC. Had to open window to get fresh air insine. Paint art on the wall by Natalie Goller - Innenraum Rußland. Was für ein Zufall! For 300 Euro a night! First evening at the Restaurant i choose Wiener Schnitzel with salad and French fries 🍟. My first Wiener Schnitzel ever and never ever if this piece of smashed to 3 mm dry pork was the real Wiener Schnitzel then sorry... Only good thing was the salad. At the hotel restaurant For 300 Euro a night! Breakfast was outstanding, nothing special at the hotel restaurant For 300 Euro a night! Asked in the morning if they do laundry the answer was - no, but whae i asked again at the desk in an hotel for 300 Euro a night the lady called someone and repeated what he heard on the other side of the line - laundry is the responsibility of the guests. Means do your self At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Finally me and the lady on the desk figured out that the hotel does outsource the laundry to a third party company. Duration - few days, At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Complimentary water only upon arrival, At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! Kettle, tea in room? Deam on! At the hotel For 300 Euro a night! What doesn't kills us makes us laughing 😆 At the hotel For 300 Euro a night!

We were in Freiburg for vacation and a lot of the other hotels were really expensive. This hotel was reasonably priced, so we booked four rooms between 2 families, and I am glad we did. The hotel was nice and clean, and fairly close to some restaurants and a train station that can take you to the down town area. What made this hotel a great stay was the staff. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. They almost all spoke English well and interacted in a very positive way. If we are in the area again, we will stay here.

Have been told by hotel manager via ******* that I do not meet the conditions for a refund! 2)Journey started from Glasgow at 3am 3)Arrive hotel 11am 4) Not permitted to check in at 3pm - stated policy check in time 5) Not even permitted to check in at 6:30pm. 6) Not permitted to use any property facilities other than the public area toilets (No spa, shower, pool, no bed to sleep in until 11pm) that we had paid for 7) Due to attending the football game, we were not permitted to access our room until 11pm!! 8) Arrive to the room to find feather bedding despite requests for hypoallergenic bedding (sister has allergy and asthma). 9) 30mins later - we were given duvets without covers and one thin pillow each. 10) No sofa bed as stated online so had to share a bed which resulted in 11) Hours sleep as a result 3hours in 36hrs 12) Too exhausted from the day before to get up in time for breakfast. 13) No offer of even a free drink at the bar but they were happy to let us spend it. 14 ) All of this and I have been told I don't meet the conditions for a partial or full refund. I knew something was strange when I was sent an email (attached) the previous night telling me not to come to the hotel until after the Euro football game that was taking place that day. I thought there must have been some sort of mistake so… Arrived at the property 11am, to be told we couldn’t check in. Our room wasn't ready. I was of course understanding of this given it was fully booked the night before. We went to get food with the intention of having 2 hours sleep before the football game and an early the next day. It transpired that the hotel had been booked by UEFA for the Scotland team. We should have been found alternative accommodation but unfortunately they have taken a huge room fee as well as the huge amount of money that UEFA must have paid them to treat their normal guests like cattle. We left the hotel exhausted and after having given the opportunity for them to rectify this situation, you have told ******* that I do not meet the conditions for a refund!! Only thing I can say is the reception and bar staff did their best to keep our spirits up and let us charge our phones. I certainly did not use £456 pounds worth of electricity though.Sleep deprivation ruined what should have been a good end to an amazing stay in Germany.

We didn’t have a good first impression as the room wasn’t cleaned when we entered after getting the key from the check-in desk. We were asked to wait while they cleaned it, but since it was already late (6 PM), we requested a room change. Aside from the initial issue, everything else was just okay.

Als ich dann vor dem Parkhaus stand, wurde ich über den Fernsprecher angeraunzt, dass alles voll sei und sie keine Reservierung für uns hätten. Im Hotel wurde dann in sehr holprigem Deutsch erklärt, dass es, wenn sie sich nicht mehr melden würden, keinen Platz im Parkhaus mehr gäbe. Ich habe dann darauf verzichtet, mit dem Personal über die Logik dieses Vorgehens zu diskutieren, da ich ohnehin das Gefühl hatte, dass man die Hälfte von dem, was ich sage, schlichtwegs nicht versteht. Im Ausschrieb wird von einem modernen Hotel gesprochen. Faktisch ist es eine alte Bude, die in den 70ern wohl mal ausgestattet und seither nicht mehr renoviert wurde. Die Betten waren unbequem und irgendwie war alles sehr aus der Zeit gefallen. Es roch richtig alt und die Sauberkeit war auch mittelmässig. Wie man sich denken kann, war es auch extrem ringhörig. Man hörte den Lärm von draussen sehr gut wie auch die angeheiterten Gäste, die weit nach Mitternacht nach Hause kamen. Das Hotel war bewusst so gebucht, weil wir nur eine Nacht dort waren, aber nie mehr wieder. Bezahlt werden muss schon beim Check-In und beim Check-Out wurde keine Silbe verschwendet, ob wir zufrieden waren oder nicht. Wer nicht mit der Zeit geht, geht mit der Zeit...

Perfekte Lage zu den Öffis. Sehr ansprechende Einrichtung und super freundlicher Service, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch in der Bar abends. Es wurde auch nicht gemurrt, dass wir zum Fussball schauen nur noch einen kleinen Snack bestellt haben. Im Gegenteil, wir wurden so freundlich bedient wie bei einer Hauptmahlzeit. 100 % ihr Weiterempfehlung.

Very nice hotel, location good as well. Near by a big mall which is convenient to buy food and everything what is needed. Hotel has everything as well, even laundry (for free) 😏

Sind in den letzten Jahren gelegentlich hier gewesen. Unter neuem Namen hat sich nicht so viel verändert. Die Reservierung klappt wie immer perfekt. Wenn keine Großveranstaltungen in der Gegend stattfinden, sind günstige Preise und Angebote verfügbar. Die Anfahrt mit dem Auto in die Tiefgarage geht gut, dann muss man allerdings in der riesigen Tiefgarage des Einkaufszentrums den richtigen Ausgang finden. Das Hotel ist nicht zentral in Stuttgart, sondern im Vorort, die Anbindung mit der S-Bahn (5-10 min Fußweg) ist auch abends gut. Empfang und check-in schnell, höflich, unkompliziert. Zimmer und Bad sind sauber, und funktionell, aber kein Luxus. Manche Zimmer zur Hauptstraße können bei geöffnetem Fenster recht laut sein. Zur anderen Seite schläft man aber sehr ruhig. Im Sommer kann es in den Zimmern je nach Lage und Sonneneinstrahlung auch warm werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war immer sehr gut, zur Zeit wird die Auswahl durch die Gesundheitslage deutlich eingeschränkt, aber immer noch ist die Qualität akzeptabel. Wer sich der Lage bewusst ist, für den ist die Übernachtung hier ihren Preis wert.

We were only staying here one night and chose this hotel as it seemed to be in a good location for visiting the Mercedes Benz and Porsche Museums. We had stayed at other Adina Hotels and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, can't say the same about this one. For a start it was difficult to find. Our GPS was giving us the runaround. Finally, we saw a temporary banner displayed indicating the Adina's location. There were roadworks and an excavation site opposite the entrance. At reception we were given instructions on where to locate the parking. Adina had their own allocated car spaces at the adjoining shopping centre's car park, so it was not straightforward. Finally, we got to our room which was fine, and the beds were quite comfortable, however we noticed there was only half a roll of toilet paper with no other spare in sight and only one bath towel. On calling reception regarding the missing towel, I was told I could pick one up from reception. As it was late, I asked if it could be dropped to our room and was told they would do so, however that never happened. We declined breakfast as we thought it was far too expensive even though reception did offer a discount of 20 euros each. Apparently, it is cheaper if prebooked online. On the upside, on checkout we asked for some advice on directions and the receptionist went to some trouble and he emailed a link to us which was quite helpful.

Das Hotel liegt am Rand eines Wohngebiets an einer befahrenen Straße. Es belegt einen Teil eines größeren Geschäftshauses. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, das Zimmer sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet. Leider gibt es nur Vorhänge und keine Gardinen, so dass man am frühen Morgen Sonnenlicht nur bekommt, wenn einem der ~6m entfernte, über Eck im gleichen Gebäude befindliche Büroarbeiter ins Zimmer schauen darf. Die Schallisolation der Wände ist gut, die Zimmertür lässt leider ziemlich viel durch. Schlecht, wenn morgens ab 6 umtriebiges Klappern im Gang einsetzt. Zusammengefasst: Für früh aufstehende Geschäftsreisende in Ordnung.

Overall a very fine hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good location if you are planning on traveling by train or FlixBus since you are very close to their stations. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and well operated. We also ate once for dinner ate at the hotel restaurant and the hamburgers and fries are exceptional. (We had young adults in our group.) The Executive Lounge has a great view of the river if you have access. One warning. If you need an accessible bathroom, this is NOT the place for you. The showers are old school in a high wall bath tub. The other caution is the location is not adjacent to the Old Town. You may need to use buses, trams, or Uber/taxicab.

レセプションの対応はとても良かったです。立地は観光エリアまで20分くらい歩きますが、フランクフルト等への電車が止まる中央駅には近く、スーツケースを持っての移動が楽でした。アメニティは自分でスマホから注文するのですが、スリッパ1つに1時間かかりました。またレセプション以外の従業員はあまり好印象ではありません。朝食もバイキングにプラスしてアラカルトメニューがあったようでお願いしたのですが、来ませんでした（結局食べてません)

Hotel a little too far to walk from the city centre with infrequent bus service. Staff were helpful and courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable

We traveled by train so this hotel was perfect, very short walk from the main station, maybe 150 feet. We did not know check in was 3:00 so paid 15€ to check in early taking a lesser room for the same price. IBIS allows early check in / late checkout for a 90€ annual fee. Breakfast was basic so we skipped that. Unfortunately McDonalds next door closed about 4 months earlier. As for lunch, the Thai restaurant (Asia Box) in the main station was very good and there is a grocery store in the station too. Our room on the 1st floor was small but clean with 2 beds. The bathroom was very small but this is the only room we saw. Street noise was minimal. Train, tram and bus lines converge here so you cant beat the location. I suspect they have parking for a fee but because we arrived by train, I am not sure.

不愧是貴族家的產業，150年經營歷史。這個酒店是由幾幢房子圍起來的，因此中間有個帶噴泉的庭院，門頭很小，但裏面挺美。因為定了30平方米的雙人舒適房，比普通房型大10平米，所以特地注意了下，一開始給的是326號房間，有個陽台，但房間面積很小，及時下樓交涉，前台美女服務非常好，拿了另外二個房卡讓我自己選一個，我就挑了346，是個拐角的房間，比之前的大了很多，廁所和洗澡間是單獨分開的二間，非常好，還有一個獨立的衣帽間，房間窗户正對着小花園，非常美。因為酒店是由幾幢房子組合在一起，所以她們也解釋了一下，每個房間和户型都不同。下次辦入住的時候可以提出自的喜好。早餐非常棒，是我這次德國行最好的一次體驗，當然房間價格也是最貴的。第一次見到酒店服務生比客人都多的酒店，早餐上就有酒水免費提供，這是我唯一碰到的一個。貴族開的酒店就是不一樣，每個細節都注意到了，一入住就進來插了鮮花，送了小甜點和歡迎卡片，各種細節真的讓人從心底感受到愉悦！

Stanza eccessivamente calda per la cui era dotata di un ventilatore vecchio di almeno vent’anni. Il WC era situato in posizione molto angusta e lo sciacquone era arrangiato alla bell’e meglio. Accanto al lavabo che era, invece, nella stanza, non c’era un gancio o un chiodo qualsiasi su cui appendere gli asciugamani, asciugamani che il secondo giorno sono stati cambiati solo su decisa insistenza. Ad una certa ora il personale scompariva e si rimaneva soli nella struttura senza possibilità di chiedere aiuto a qualcuno in caso di bisogno, anche perché la stanza era sfornita di telefono. La colazione è stata abbondante solo il primo giorno (che era domenica) la mattina dopo, infatti, si è andato avanti con quello che era rimasto. Il televisore non ha mai funzionato, nonostante l’assicurazione di una riparazione che mai c’è stata. A rimborso di quest’ultimo disagio, hanno offerto un offensivo rimborso di 5 €uro! La sola espressione che può rendere l’idea della permanenza in questo hotel è questa: uno schifo. Excessively hot room for which it was equipped with a fan that was at least twenty years old. The toilet was located in a very narrow position and the flushing was done in a haphazard manner. Next to the sink which was, however, in the room, there was not a hook or any nail on which to hang the towels, towels which on the second day were changed only upon firm insistence. At a certain time the staff would disappear and you would be left alone in the structure without the possibility of asking someone for help in case of need, also because the room had no telephone. The breakfast was plentiful only on the first day (which was Sunday) and the next morning, in fact, we continued with what was left. The television never worked, despite the insurance of a repair that never took place. To compensate for this last inconvenience, they offered an offensive refund of €5! The only expression that can convey the idea of staying in this hotel is this: disgusting. Übermäßig heißer Raum, der mit einem mindestens zwanzig Jahre alten Ventilator ausgestattet war. Die Toilette befand sich in einer sehr engen Position und die Spülung erfolgte willkürlich. Neben dem Waschbecken, das sich allerdings im Zimmer befand, gab es weder einen Haken noch einen Nagel, an dem man die Handtücher aufhängen konnte, die am zweiten Tag nur auf starkes Drängen gewechselt wurden. Zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt verschwand das Personal und man blieb allein in der Struktur zurück, ohne die Möglichkeit, im Bedarfsfall jemanden um Hilfe zu bitten, auch weil das Zimmer kein Telefon hatte. Das Frühstück war nur am ersten Tag (Sonntag) reichlich und am nächsten Morgen machten wir tatsächlich mit dem Rest weiter. Der Fernseher funktionierte nie, trotz der Versicherung einer Reparatur, die nie stattgefunden hat. Um diese letzte Unannehmlichkeit zu kompensieren, boten sie eine offensive Rückerstattung von 5 € an! Der einzige Ausdruck, der den Gedanken an einen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel vermitt

This is a very nice, business traveler type hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean. We had a couple of problems, though: 1) we reserved a room with twin beds, and we were given a room with the beds made up as one king bed—we couldn’t separate them and it was too late to get a different room; and 2) the lights in the hallway on our floor didn’t work until they were able to fix them the next morning (that was worrisome). There was some renovation going on which seems to explain the lighting issue. The hotel was about halfway between the train station and the old town, with a tram stop almost directly in front, so it was very convenient.

IT IS A REGRET TO BOOK FROM THIS HOTEL. Since I wanted to celebrate my birthday in Heidelberg, a city I really want to visit, I made a reservation at this hotel to stay for 2 nights between 7-9 March. I was going to come to Germany either by plane from outside European countries. On March 7, there was a strike in Germany and the airports were closed. It was notified by the airline company on March 6 that our flight was canceled. We immediately informed the hotel about the situation and asked them to postpone our visit to April 7-9 and transfer the fee to this date, but they stated that the strike was not their problem and took the hotel fee for 2 nights from our credit card. Strike is an essential situation. In legal terms, this is called FORCE MAJEURE – “a common clause in contracts that essentially relieves both parties of liability or liability in the event of an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, or war.” In case of force majeure, standard procedures cannot be applied. The hotel guest is not responsible and cannot be punished. The Mille Stelle City hotel, which turned the strike into an opportunity, charging for a service it did not provide does not comply with business ethics and is a shameful situation. Although accommodation cannot be made due to force majeure, the fee collected from the guest is not a fair gain. It is against consumer rights and even human rights. My flight was canceled due to the strike in Germany, I could not enter the country, the hotel canceled my reservation and charged the fee. Moreover, despite all my communication efforts, they were treated indifferently, saying ”the strike is not my problem”. Our emails were not answered. Not only could I not celebrate my birthday, but I was also unfairly victimized. It was a birthday I will never forget in my life. If you do not want to regret it, never book this hotel, which does not have well-intentioned management. I made my complaints about the hotel through different institutions. And I will continue my complaints and articles about this hotel on every platform until I get my justice.

Excellent location in a residential area, ideal for us visiting our granddaughter who is studying in Heidelberg. The Staff, service, friendliness and cleanliness was very good, as was the airconditioned room. Buffet breakfast, not included in room rate, had a good choice of food and a relatively modest price restaurant menu as well. Public transport, Tram, is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. However, the journey to the centre takes 10/15 minutes so not ideal for business travellers without a car. I can't comment on English being spoken as was mentioned in some reviews, as we didn't need to use it. Hotel only has payable private parking 🅿 but street parking outside the hotel is fine , our car was parked in the same place for 4 days, no problem. No hesitation in staying here again on our next visit to Heidelberg. There are NO Covid or sanitary restrictions at the hotel at this time.

Its close to the station but couldnt hear trains or traffic so that was ok. So its a good location. But thats all there is. The hotel is dirty, small rooms and the cleaning people start cleaning early. So if you still sleeping you gonna wake up hearing the vacum cleaner....plus its way too expensive for what you get...i wouldnt stay there again

We were in Freiburg for vacation and a lot of the other hotels were really expensive. This hotel was reasonably priced, so we booked four rooms between 2 families, and I am glad we did. The hotel was nice and clean, and fairly close to some restaurants and a train station that can take you to the down town area. What made this hotel a great stay was the staff. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. They almost all spoke English well and interacted in a very positive way. If we are in the area again, we will stay here.

Ottimo hotel per una o due notti al max. Stanze molto belle,tv mancano le reti Italiane,e sprovviste di armadi. Solo per un mordi e fuggi. Ristorante buono,il servizio è sel service,per il bere se vuoi alcolici ti devi servire da solo alla reception. Ottimo per due gg.

My experience at this hotel was exceptional. The room was impressively spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout my stay. The front desk staff were polite and welcoming during check-in, setting a positive tone from the moment I arrived. The buffet breakfast offered a wide array of delicious choices, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others seeking a top-notch hospitality experience.

Sehr gute Lage Nähe Münster und Altstadt. Moderne Zimmer mit gutem Bett, Bad mit Regendusche, Klimaanlage. Leider geht die Kostenbremse des Managements deutlich zu Lasten der Gäste: 1. Die tagsüber funktionierende Aircon wird nachts heruntergefahren - also genau dann, wenn man sie benötigt! Der Rezeption ist dies offensichtlich bekannt und wird ohne Bedauern mit einem Achselzucken zur Kenntnis genommen. 2. In einem Haus, das inkl. Parken fast € 200/Nacht verlangt, sollte ein angemessenes Qualitäts-Frühstück mit einigen ”Extras” verpflichtend sein. Hier sieht das Frühstück auf den ersten Blick zwar gut organisiert aus, ist aber leider 3* Standard. Die Warmgerichte (z.B. Rührei, Speck, Würste, Pancakes etc.) sind qualitativ schlicht und bereits um 8:30 Uhr kalt. Ebenso schlicht sind Auswahl und Qualität von Wurst, Käse und Obst. Den recht ordentlichen Kaffee zieht man sich selbst aus dem Automaten.

The hotel is located in a lovely spot in the woods, with walking/trails and birds chirping, outside Freiburg. There is a large terrace to sit on for a drink or a meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful to provide a relaxing experience. I really enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffett. If you are looking to explore the area, it is situated on the way to Alsace so you can go into Freiburg and France quite easily. If you want a hotel right in Freiburg, this isn't it. And the highway is a bit close by so there is some sound, but usually the birds chirping was louder.

Mein Mann und ich waren das erste Mal im Hotel Stadt Freiburg und wir waren begeistert. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Hotel ist modern und hat eine großzügige Lobby. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich und sauber .Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche und auch hier wird man sehr freundlich umsorgt. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert - wir haben dort vorzüglich zu Abend gegessen und wurden auch hier sehr freundlich empfangen und durch den Abend begleitet. Alles in allem war unser 4-tägiger Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

The sweetest, friendliest, and quaintest hotel in Freiburg. It’s nestled in a residential community right on the bus route. Older and no frills hotel but clean, quiet, and well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. A special shout out to Niels Eggers. Niels had been an exchange student in Utah not far from my home. Niels treated me like an old friend. This was my second stay and I’ll stay here every time I visit.
