Such a wonderful stay, almost all staff had present for a help when needed. The reception is super easy and fast even we have to folow the rules of check-in at 3pm. The room is clean and the bed is super comfy. Such a good rest received after a long travel haul. The restaurant provide meal which is internatonal standard and I'm satisfied with it. The location of hotel make us easy to get transport and hustle free. Others than that, i am satisfied actual to overall of the stay.

In general I recommend this place. It's well located, it's new, the rooms are really nice! The rooms are well equipped, big, confortable and clean. I have to mention that the staff in general is nice, Zyad from reception and Mahmoud from the kitchen that serves the breakfast, for example, they are very gentle and kind. I'm thankful for their attention. The only point to improve is the cleanliness of the pool. I've been 5 days and they didn't clean the pool any day (maybe because it's not summer anymore and they think is not necessary?), so I didn't had the chance to try it unfortunately. That's a point to improve.

I caught the early flight to the airport. I had a few simple breakfasts and went to the lobby. After waiting for the arrival of the shuttle bus, I found that I accidentally left the passport bag and there was cash in the restaurant bag. After a while, the staff helped me deliver it very much. But later, when I got off the plane and exchanged money, I found that the cash inside must have lost the cash banknote of 250💶. The whole passport bag in Egypt was with me all the way. I lost almost ten minutes at this moment, and then unfortunately I had to end my trip to Egypt. I have left a message to the hotel to adjust the monitoring, but I don't know if there is any feedback and whether it can be found. At present, people have been to Tunisia to play, and the cash euros for the hotel are not enough！ 赶早班机去机场，简单吃了几口早餐去大厅等接送大巴到时后，发现不小心遗落护照包在餐厅包里有现金，不一会儿有工作人员帮忙送了过来很感谢，但是后来下飞机换钱的时候却发现里面的现金定丢失了现金纸币250💶。整个护照包埃及全程都在身边，就这一会儿丢了差不多十分钟，然后很遗憾得结束了埃及之旅。 已经给酒店留言调监控但是不知道有没有反馈，能不能找回来。目前人到突尼斯 玩了，付酒店的现金欧元都不够了，晕😵💫！

My stay at Sofitel Downtown Cairo was genuinely pleasant and absolutely worth the money. The hotel delivers a high standard of comfort, but what truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional staff. Special thanks to Ahmed Zakarya at the front desk for his professionalism and warm welcome. Appreciation as well to Shaker from housekeeping for his attentiveness and consistency. I would also like to extend special thanks to the ladies at Solana, the breakfast restaurant—Zakeyh and Hanan—who are truly the gems of the restaurant. Their kindness, energy, and attention to detail made breakfast a highlight of each day. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, driven by excellent service and a strong hospitality culture. I would gladly stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel for the night since we arrived one day before our tour group . Our requirement was to have a comfortable sleep for the night . I have seen many reviews complaining about difficulty in finding the novotel shuttle bus from airport to hotel . However , we had a receiving person from our tour group , who helped to call the driver and coordinated our boarding of shuttle bus. so we did not face that problem . We were picked up at the airport. Hotel staff were kind and helpful . We had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel . Since it was Feb 14th there was a young lady who gave a rose to me in the restaurant to give to my wife. Nice gesture . we loved it. It was comfortable stay , room was just right . Food was good . Our return back to airport was easy using the shuttle bus. Thanks for the good stay.

Clean space and close to the airport but hardest to get to the attractions. Staff could be a bit more friendly and room service could be better. For example for 3 people Accomodation they were only leaving 2 towels.

The best hotel I ever stayed in! So pleasant & inviting. The staff were really nice & helpful and not interested in tips. The large heated outdoor pool was a real treat after a long day of travelling. The room was spacious & clean, the bed comfortable. The food was delicious. And all in walking distance from the airport :)

I had a conference in new cairo and also wanted to stay close to AUC. This hotel is very new and has all the amenities you need. Honestly i was very surprised by the quality of the furniture as its really good for Cairo standards. Bed is super comfortable, you have a microwave and really good television. Safe and place to place your luggage as well. i was on the 4th floor. very quiet too. it also has a gym and a pool which i didnt try but looks very well kept. I just hope that the cleanliness and standards maintain throughout the years as new hotels usually start well but later the quality goes down.

Very close to the old Egyptian Museum, the Nile, and local shopping. Streets in the area are busy and quite local feel. Like every other establishment in Egypt, need to go through security scans at the entrances. Room is well appointed; the lobby bar hosts a singer in the evenings. Overall good.

While not a fancy hotel (to Western standards) everything was clean and working. We booked because we needed somewhere to stay for a few hours before catching our early AM flight. The location within walking distance of Citystars Mall was perfect and only a 15 minute drive to the airport.
