Hotel Dengan Pools di Pest, Hungary

I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The hotel generally felt quite dated. We stayed on the 6th floor, and the showerhead couldn't be fixed to the wall, which made showering very inconvenient. After the first night of our two-night stay, we spoke with the staff, and thankfully, they moved us to a different room. The breakfast area has two sections. If guest numbers are low, only section B is open, which results in a rather limited and mediocre breakfast spread. Section A was a bit more acceptable. While walking to tourist attractions was quite a distance, bus access was convenient.

Continental Comfort in Budapest 🏩 For €260 a night 💶, the “junior suite” delivers big on comfort — a bed you’ll melt into 🛏️, pillows with personality, and a breakfast omelette 🍳 that could win awards. The staff are genuinely lovely 😊, and the building itself has a historic glass dome that makes you stop and stare. Not everything hit the mark — the “wellness centre” (a sauna that’s more lukewarm hug than steamy escape 🧖♂️) and toiletries that smell like disappointment. Luxury touches didn’t quite sparkle, yet the space was clean, practical, and restful 😌. One thing I like about business trips is that the air conditioning temperature is relatively balanced. I recommend using one thin pillow, one thick pillow, and one very thin pillow. Currently, both pillows are a bit too thick.

The rooms were a little dingy and some mould and stains on grout, true to what other reviewers mentioned. However, apart from wear and tear, the hotel has tried to keep it clean and serviceable. Overall, it felt well loved, but was clearly a shadow of its past glory. Needs some tlc and a lot of refurbishment. The gantry doesn’t work, so you must walk out to the gantry to meet your cab. However staff were inordinately helpful and kind at the front desk. The breakfast was incredibly varied and delicious. Room was spacious - with every convenience, fridge, tv, iron. Only problem is no main heater in the bedroom - so it got chilly quite fast. Anyway I would stay again next time when in Budapest, the location has good access to tram line and the staff are kind.

All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, but the highlight was definitely the view. From my window, I could see the majestic Buda Castle and the river — a truly stunning sight both during the day and beautifully lit at night. It made my stay feel extra special and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Budapest who wants a mix of comfort and breathtaking scenery.

I had urgent night to stay. Difficult to find because no sign, luckily when I arrived the lady at counter still there to help me contact staff and they are were nice.  Hotel staff add my WhatsApp guide how to check in. But it will be more easier if you just make check in instructions by photos send to WhatsApp. Unlock the door need to download app which it very difficult if you no internet. Toilet no curtain to prevent water when I use their bath towel wipes toilet floor was dusty. Hotel not provide drinking water.

A perfect hotel for a weekend stay in Budapest, or even during your vacation. There are three beautiful pools and saunas, including a steam room. Perfect breakfast with a wide selection.

Location is not exactly in the heart of the city, but it is not far away. Very clean and I personally love the facility and design of the hotel, the cherry on top is the heart warming service, overall definitely worth the price if you want a comfy and classy place to stay it's the one, but if you want a room with river view, maybe go with Intercontinental or marriot but their appearance does not look to nice
