Overall it is a good experience but I feel the time for preparing the food that they took can be improved and I feel considering their room it is a bit over expensive. Otherwise their food quality and staff behaviour is upto the mark

We visited the Waterside cafe for the dinner buffet. The food was a delight and the service was impeccable. I especially loved the Indian section of the buffet. Special thanks to Jitendra for the wonderful service. Would love to visit again soon

Booked a room for my in-laws. Said the hotel is relatively new, so the rooms are nice. I got them an executive room. It seems the only benefit to this is free drinks during cocktail hour. My in-laws do not drink alcohol and they did not have soft drinks/non-alcoholic drinks, which they were a bit disappointed about.

That's a great service from hotel staff especially at the breakfast restaurant staff. They always take care what you want and offer food choices to me and colleague. Surely, the food for breakfast is great, variety of choices. I love coffee and cake so much. When they know that we are the last day at hotel, they prepared simple cake but full of hospitality of restaurant team. Thanks so much and we will come back again.

Nice to stay in holiday in it was very pleasant stay in holiday inn kolkata airport hotel room was very beautiful and the service was excellent the staffs also very nice very cooperative good tp stay in the hotel i enjoyed the morning breakfast.

I shall start from arrival at the hotel. We were a family of four who had booked two rooms at the property. We arrived around 14:30 Hrs (at least 30 mins after the designated check-in time). First of all, although the check-in desk at the hotel is quite huge, there were only 3 staff members ***ning the desk, all of them occupied. We had to wait for around 15 mins, looking here and there like *****s with our bags on before someone greeted us. And I do not mind waiting for check-in; what I do mind is that despite multiple staff members seeing us wait, not one of them acknowledge our presence and asked us to take a seat and wait. They would all look at us and carry on. Forget a warm smile, forget a namaste, we were made to feel like fools just standing there without anyone attending to us. When we finally did get a chance to check in, we were given two adjacent rooms. The key to one room was handed over to us, and we were told that the second room is not ready yet and that as soon as it is ready the key would be sent to us in our room. We said okay and moved towards our room. Once in our room, all four of us sat waiting in one room for around 45 mins for the key to the second room. We were not able to unpack because we wanted to unpack in our respective rooms. Tired and hungry, we left the hotel to get ourselves some lunch and some sightseeing, hoping that by the time we return our second room would be ready. When we returned and asked for the key to the second room from the reception desk, we were told that the room that was allocated to us had been now given to someone else -- and we were given some other room that was ”close” to the first room. I understand that asking for adjacent rooms is a mere request and not a right. But had we been given a ”close” room earlier, we could have gotten the keys earlier at the time of check-in! We waited for a room for so long, only for it to be given to someone else. Fast forward to the next morning's breakfast. The spread was quite good and quite diverse in variety. However, again the entire staff at the breakfast looked tense for some reason. And they kept messing up with live counter orders. No one had a smile on, no one welcomed you with warmth, and no one made you feel as if you were staying in a 5-star hotel (which The Lalit considers itself to be). Our entire experience with The Lalit was below par at the very least. It was not the kind of experience you would expect from a branded property that so conveniently calls itself a luxury 5-star property. I honestly feel for the money that I paid, I could and should have gotten a different property and that would have been definitely better. For the foreseeable future, and till things change, I do not see myself staying at any Lalit property.

I felt like home. The warmth in the property is extremely incredible and show casing the heritage of Kolkata is WOW. I have already recommended my family and friends raajkutir for stay. The staff won my heart. I have stayed in so ***y 5star property but the reason of staying again with raajkutir was its staff like Shang, Sunita, Sapna, Parthib, Marisa, Anindita, Disha. Chef Bisw***p made me taste special Bengali thali and f&b staff at east india who explained me every dish. Also, I will say when good leader leads a team, that unity shows in the team- this fits for the front office ***ager Riki. He is extremely humorous and generous. He won the heart when we were leave and he helped with me with my luggage. He being FOM, he can simply tell other staff to do but he being so helpful he himself carried my luggage and dropped till car. This is the reason TAJ is different from other hotels. They are rooted to their work. Exe chef Suvashish Mukherjee took his time and spent with us and gave glimpse of so ***y Bengali food stories and sharing his experience with TAJ from 3 generation. When I praised him about how all staff is so humble, he said ma'am I learnt this from my leader Mr. Tata and shared his experience when he meet Mr. Ratan Tata and the lift is being used by some other guest. Mr. Tata didn't left bad or didn't got angry at staff for not holding the lift for him but he simply said I feel I was sitting from very long and we should climb the stairs its heathy and smiled. These beautiful stories we can only hear from staff of TAJ because they are feeling like home at there work and they make guest feel like home. I was not so well the care gave by the 2 ladies in spa by suggesting steam and massages. Simply incredible stay. Definitely I will come back. Thanks to everyone in Raajkutir for your love.

I stayed for 1 night in this particular trip. This is my first stay at courtyard siliguri. I am writing to convey my deepest gratitude for the extraordinary experience I had during this particular trip. The property is very well maintained and cozy and beautiful. The level of care and dedication exhibited by your staff surpassed our highest expectations, leaving an indelible mark on me. The personalized greetings and the seamless check-in process immediately set the tone for what would become a truly exceptional stay. Everything was maintained very well and staff at all the areas were so helpful and reachable/open. Food at The restaurant Siliguri kitchen was awesome to say the least. Each dish was a testament to the chef's artistry, and the service was characterized by attentiveness and knowledge. Dining there became an experience in itself, and we eagerly anticipated every meal. Thanks to Mr. HASIBUR, Mr. SOMNATH DEBNATH and their entire team including Mr. Subrata, Mr.Subhamoy sarkar . These people ensure my food needs are taken care in very personalized way. Their culinary skills, communication and warmth are highly appreciated. Hatsoff. The dedication and talent of your team were evident in every meal I enjoyed at From breakfast, lunch to dinner, each dish was a testament to the skill and creativity of chefs. Mr.HASIBUR and Mr.SOMNATH were wonderful chef's and hu*** beings and as I have very long list of intolerances they considered all of them and cooked special meals for me and taking care of my health during this solo travel. My further travel completely depended on this particular trip and they ensured it was absolutely perfect as I required. They made me feel at home. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were nothing short of extraordinary. Their knowledge of the menu, willingness to accommodate special requests, and genuine warmth made every meal a memorable one. I must take a moment to commend Ms. NITA, Ms.RESHMI, Ms.ANANDITA, at the front desk for their exceptional assistance and graciousness. Their knowledge of the area and willingness to go the extra mile in accommodating my requests was greatly appreciated. F & B Team : Mr. PRALADH, Ms.NANDINI and Ms. INGSUNA . Everytime I come, they remember me and take out time and interact at length.offer me complementary desserts even though I don't eat !! Haha. Wonderful guys ..make me feel like im at home. Their professionalism and genuine care for dining experience did not go unnoticed. K today we celebrate our 5th marriage anniversary in Mayfair siliguri in room number 230. we enjoyed lot.and used almost all available facility which is provided by the hotel . as example swimming pool. pool bar. resturant. private restaurant for dinner.but one thing which makes us feel more enjoyable at the evening time , i called housekeeping depar**ent and ask them to bring some towel. so they send Mr karan biswakarma with few towels. so simply we start conversation and i informed him that today we celebrate our 5th marriage anniversary. after hearing this he went.and we are also came down to resturant and start enjoy our evening with family and friends.but the most surprising thing happened when we back to our room. mr karan done some bed decoration wich is very much liked by my wife. and we are totally surprised how some one give this type of unexpected services.thnx so much. to made ous feel more special. and thnx to mr indrajit also in resturant.
