Hotel Dengan Pools di Hokkaido, Japan

Was pleasantly surprised at how clean the hotel room was when we first checked into the room. No stench at all. Basic amenities are provided and rooms are cleaned daily while bedsheets are changed once every two days. Bed is comfortable and hotel is in close vicinity of three different convenience stores, which is a plus. There is also a direct airport shuttle bus service which costs 1500yen per person, right at the hotel. Hotel from Sapporo station is about 20mins walk.

Amazing stay. Enjoyed every minute. Good facilities of pool and gym. Buffet breakfast however was a repetition. Room was clean and views are great. Lovely stay and location is minutes walk to JR station. Very new and enjoyed the bathtub dip too. Will recommend

There are indoor and outdoor activities, play areas, ski facilities, and entertainment options suitable for both kids and adults, so everyone can find something to enjoy. One of the biggest advantages is the location. The resort is very close to a convenience store,which is extremely helpful for families — whether you need snacks, drinks, daily essentials, or quick meals, everything is within easy reach. There are also many restaurants inside the resort, offering different types of cuisine. However, it’s important to note that several popular restaurants require advance reservations, especially during peak seasons. Planning ahead is highly recommended to avoid long waits or limited dining options. Overall, Rusutsu Resort is very family-friendly, well-organized, and convenient. With its wide range of facilities, nearby convenience store, and diverse dining choices, it’s a great destination for a comfortable and enjoyable family holiday — just remember to book restaurants early.

If you're coming to Noboribetsu for the onsen experience, Dai-ichi Takimotokan gets many things right. The location is exceptional. Sitting right beside Hell Valley (less than 3mins walk to main entrance) + shops around the resort offers one of the most iconic onsen settings in Japan. Service throughout the resort was warm, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. The property is well maintained, and cleanliness standards were consistently good throughout my stay. The highlight, without question, was my room with a private onsen overlooking Hell Valley. Waking up to steam rising from the volcanic landscape while soaking in mineral-rich waters is one of those travel moments that stays with you long after you've returned home. The Grand Onsen is another standout. While parts of the facility feel a little dated, it remains one of the largest and most impressive onsen complexes I've personally experienced. The variety of baths, minerals, temperatures, and views makes it a destination in itself. Where the resort falls short is the food. My Kaiseki dinner was underwhelming and lacked the refinement and wow factor I had expected as the first 2 dishes were pre-laid out b4 my arrival. Private Breakfast was acceptable but forgettable. Neither meal was bad, but neither was memorable, especially by Japanese ryokan standards. A word of caution for fitness enthusiasts: the ”fitness room” is more symbolic than functional. Calling it a gym would be generous. If maintaining a serious workout routine is important during your travels, you'll likely be disappointed. Overall, Dai-ichi Takimotokan is a resort I would recommend for its location, private onsen rooms, and spectacular bathing facilities rather than its culinary offerings. Come for the healing waters and views of Hell Valley; set your expectations lower for the dining experience. Pretty much happy staying in this hotel. Buffet food for dinner and breakfast already worth the price. Plus they have onsen whether indoor and open air in the ground oor. And the top floor onsen. The view is amazing, I got to see a river and forest cover by snow while having breakfast. 100/10

The view from our room was insane, overlooking the lake. The room was a bit outdated but it served us well for our trip, though the bed was quite firm and springy. The service was amazing, location was great for us as we had a car and the parking lot was a very short walk away. The only downside is how overwhelming the buffet smells are but the selection is plentiful.

First time to live in love hotel in Japan, clean and tidy, room filled with cigarette smell, might not suit for people who hates the smell. Location is good with free carparking.

The hotel is located at the top of a hill, offering a very beautiful view. The surrounding scenery is definitely one of its highlights. The onsen area and its view, however, were not as impressive as expected. If you plan to dine outside the hotel, do note that you’ll need to drive down the hill, which takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the nearest restaurants.

Hotel ini agak lama, dan tingkap tidak boleh dibuka sama sekali. Terdapat terlalu banyak serangga hitam kecil, dan sangat menyusahkan untuk makan berhampiran hotel pasti tidak akan tinggal di sini, kerana tiada perkhidmatan dan harga bilik tidak rendah. Bufet sarapan pagi di restoran Barat sangat sesak, dan makan malam tidak dibuka kepada mereka tanpa tempahan.
