We had a room with a balcony facing the ocean, and were able to spend a relaxing time looking out at Matsushima. Everyone who served us was very polite and kind. The room was clean and quiet. We chose a plan that only included breakfast, intending to eat dinner at a nearby restaurant, but the buffet-style food included many dishes unique to Matsushima, and everything was delicious, so we wished we had eaten dinner here as well! We recommend it!

The large public bath offers a beautiful view. The breakfast and dinner included in the one-night, two-meal package were good. The overall environment is pleasant, and the building, while not new, isn't too old. There's also a free shuttle service to and from the station.

This is a standard, established, large hot spring hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated, the koi fish are charming, and the rooms are spacious. The hot springs are rather unremarkable, and the semi-buffet dinner was particularly disappointing. I've stayed at many onsen hotels with a stay and two meals option, and this one was quite subpar. The free shuttle bus from Sendai Station was a nice touch.

I took my two children to Sendai during the holiday. A friend recommended this hotel. The room has a view of the sea from the window. The room we stayed in was very large. There is a Japanese bath in the hotel and you can see the Pacific Ocean. Dinner was Japanese cuisine, the ingredients were very fresh, good reviews

I've stayed here about 5 or 6 times now, and every visit, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is excellent. The staff's polite language and their commitment to ensuring guests never feel uncomfortable truly put me at ease. This time, for the first time, I opted for a room-only stay as I wanted to enjoy a relaxing hot spring trip without any interference. (Previously, my best friend and I always chose plans with breakfast and dinner.) This kind of stay is also very reasonable, and given the reliable service, I'll continue to choose Rantei for all my future visits to Akiu Onsen, rather than trying other inns. Having just turned 60, I'm not sure how many more times I'll be able to visit... Thank you so much for everything.

The pick-up driver is courteous and helpful. After arriving at the hotel, passengers can enjoy free drinks and snacks and ice cream, feeling heart-warming. Three hot springs, each with its own characteristics. The buffet dinner and breakfast are rich, sweet shrimp and salmon fillets are beautiful, the beef willow is fresh and tender, and the potato stew tempura is sweet and soft. You can't miss it.

The location and facilities were comfortable and I was satisfied with the food. I think it is recommended in this area as well. I would like to visit again if I have another chance.

This hotel is perfect for road trips. It has a ski resort, an indoor hot spring, and a newly renovated outdoor hot spring. There is also a small library where you can relax and have children read books. The outdoor area has a foot bath and you can use the snow bags provided by the hotel free of charge.
