The hotel here has spacious rooms with Japanese futons to sleep on. The rooms are clean and the front desk staff provides good explanations. The onsen here is very large and has many pools. The lounge provides clean services twice a day. In the evening, there is unlimited wine, beer, and snacks. Breakfast is good, with a wide selection and delicious. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back to stay here again. I would like to recommend this hotel

We had a room with a balcony facing the ocean, and were able to spend a relaxing time looking out at Matsushima. Everyone who served us was very polite and kind. The room was clean and quiet. We chose a plan that only included breakfast, intending to eat dinner at a nearby restaurant, but the buffet-style food included many dishes unique to Matsushima, and everything was delicious, so we wished we had eaten dinner here as well! We recommend it!

The rooms are comfortable, and the hot springs are clean and pleasant. The breakfast and dinner buffets are both high-quality with a wide variety of options, which is a huge plus. All the staff are warm and courteous. Highly recommend staying here.

The service and facilities are good. The hot springs are divided into men's and women's time slots, and if you have enough time, you can soak in all the hot springs. Free massage chairs are also available in the hot springs. The hotel has a gift shop and a bar. Note that the hotel may not provide dinner, but there is a convenience store opposite the hotel.

It's so beautiful, situated on a cliff by the sea. Every room has a full sea view. Watching the sunrise in the morning is so beautiful. The seaside onsen has a beautiful view. It's so satisfying. The food is very delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The hotel helped victims of the 2011 tsunami and earthquake, and they survived the events very well. I would like to express my appreciation. I will definitely stay there again if I have the chance.

I've stayed here about 5 or 6 times now, and every visit, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is excellent. The staff's polite language and their commitment to ensuring guests never feel uncomfortable truly put me at ease. This time, for the first time, I opted for a room-only stay as I wanted to enjoy a relaxing hot spring trip without any interference. (Previously, my best friend and I always chose plans with breakfast and dinner.) This kind of stay is also very reasonable, and given the reliable service, I'll continue to choose Rantei for all my future visits to Akiu Onsen, rather than trying other inns. Having just turned 60, I'm not sure how many more times I'll be able to visit... Thank you so much for everything.

The pick-up driver is courteous and helpful. After arriving at the hotel, passengers can enjoy free drinks and snacks and ice cream, feeling heart-warming. Three hot springs, each with its own characteristics. The buffet dinner and breakfast are rich, sweet shrimp and salmon fillets are beautiful, the beef willow is fresh and tender, and the potato stew tempura is sweet and soft. You can't miss it.

The location and facilities were comfortable and I was satisfied with the food. I think it is recommended in this area as well. I would like to visit again if I have another chance.

This hotel is perfect for road trips. It has a ski resort, an indoor hot spring, and a newly renovated outdoor hot spring. There is also a small library where you can relax and have children read books. The outdoor area has a foot bath and you can use the snow bags provided by the hotel free of charge.
