Hotel Dengan Pools di Osaka Prefecture, Japan

Completely exceeded my expectations! The lobby decor is grand yet cozy 🏡, and the bellhop was super enthusiastic about helping with luggage 🧳. The room's soundproofing was so good I couldn't hear any noise 🤫, and waking up to the morning sun was incredibly refreshing 🌞. Checkout was super fast, no long waits ⌛. Highly recommended!

Location: Pretty average. While you can see Osaka Castle, it's really far from the train station, and not a central one, so you always have to transfer. Taking a taxi anywhere costs 100+ yen each time. Facilities: Since it's relatively new, the facilities are fine, no issues there. But the rooms are really small, especially in the double rooms where there's basically no space on either side or in front of the bed. It usually sells for just over 1,000 yen on weekdays, but this time, because of a Japanese holiday, it was over 3,000 yen. Decor: To be honest, it feels quite cheap. The music you hear from the guest rooms at night is also a bit eerie... Service: The greeters were definitely hand-picked for their looks. They give you cookies at check-in, and thankfully, they confirmed my allergies. However, my request for a late check-out due to a flight delay was denied. I booked breakfast, but they wouldn't let me in after 10:00 (last entry). That was my fault for missing it, but they did let me take a cup of coffee. Honestly, unless you absolutely *have* to see Osaka Castle, there's no benefit to staying here.

The Imperial Hotel consistently delivers excellent service, and the accommodation is wonderfully quiet. Plus, they offer a shuttle service to JR Osaka Station (which is part of the Umeda commercial district). This is super convenient for shoppers as you can get everything done in Umeda in one go. You can also catch direct trains to the airport and Kyoto from Umeda, and Universal Studios Japan is easily accessible via the Osaka Loop Line. Overall, it's a very convenient place for tourists to stay.

Good hotel with spa with mediocre services.  The room was neat, clean and feeling new.  However, staffs are not familiar with English, not even talking Mandarin. Using the translator with poor voice input was troublesome and sometimes it interpreted wrong meanings. Room service if missed will not be provided again on that day. Also, there were many spa-only visitors simply lying on the spa floor.  Parts of the male spa were under construction and one night there were no 40 degree Celsius or higher pool as they were all under cleaning at the same time. The ground of the spa was very slippery, mostly because many visitors did not bother to rinse themselves well after using the conditioner. The breakfast buffet is good in terms of food choices and environment. But I dislike the scrambled eggs, which had a texture tasted awful.

The location is great and easy to find, right outside the subway station. It's within 2km of Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market, and Dotonbori, so it's perfectly fine to walk there. The room is quiet and comfortable. The space isn't huge compared to rooms in China, but for Japan, it's pretty good. It has a sofa, a bed, a table, a cabinet, and even space for luggage. It's very quiet; I'd recommend choosing a room on the seventh floor or higher for a better view. The breakfast is excellent! I especially recommend the croissants, fresh vegetable salad, tuna salad, and the boiled eggs – the whites are tender and smooth, and the yolks are wonderfully rich and fragrant. Highly recommend!

Nice rooms I booked one with a view over Osaka. Hotel is 10 mins walk from Dotonburi and very close to Namba station entrance from there about 5 mins walk to subway lines that take you further into town I didn’t include breakfast but paid for one morning it was quite expensive but the food was good quality and the views over Osaka from the 40th floor while you eat are stunning! I asked the maids to clean my room a day ahead of schedule and they were more than willing and also came back as scheduled the next day. While pricey I cannot fault my stay there

I often go to a hot spring hotel in the mountains. It is most convenient if you have a car. The hotel has regular bus pick-ups. The hot springs are great, the rooms are clean, there are fewer tourists, and the experience is very good.

The hotel view is absolutely fantastic, offering a great cityscape of Osaka. From the better room types, you get a direct view of a large area of Umeda, including the train station. The decor is European style, though it feels a bit 'knock-off' – like a fake European imitation. The details don't hold up under close inspection, and the cleanliness is noticeably not as good as in Tokyo. They're very generous with amenities, providing a lot. Breakfast is à la carte, suitable for those who enjoy Western breakfast; I found it pretty good, and the bread was quite tasty. There was a musty smell in the room, so overall, it didn't feel very high-end. The bedding was also quite ordinary. Its strengths are definitely the view and the value for money.

The room was quite small, but all the amenities expected from an IHG property were fully provided; though small, it had everything one could need. There's a hotel shuttle bus to USJ, with only one departure at 7:30 AM on the day we went. We booked it in advance via email, and the response was quick and excellent. We secured our seats and entered the park by 8 AM, which was a great experience. It was a bit difficult to find the shuttle bus stop from Umeda Osaka Station to the hotel. I suggest the hotel provide a video route guide; that would significantly improve the guest experience. The only drawback was the strong disinfectant smell in the bathroom. I hope they can address this.
