Very cozy lodge! Full of character. Check in was smooth, stay was comfortable, bed was comfy with a thick bouncy duvet. Generally friendly staff, guardsman in particular was a sincere, nice guy. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but dinner buffet was. I have to compliment the chef, fried chicken and haak gaad esp were my favourites of any dish I’ve ever eaten at any hotel buffets. Fresh, fragrant and the ratio of collard greens to fish was perfect. Doneness of collards was also perfect. Hearty and we agreed it was a joy of a meal. Something extra that can be done to take advantage of the lodge vibes and winter experience is if the lodge offered something warm and cosy to enjoy in the lounge or on the porch in the winter air. Perhaps a roasted sweet potato, a mug of hot cocoa, or something like hot fresh Korean walnut cakes for guests to hold while out in the snowy yard. Something extra. :)

I think this is undoubtedly the best place one can find in Srinagar to stay. Starting from the checkin to services to facility.. everything is just indescribable. Live music throughout the evening is the cherry on top. Even the breakfast and dinner have a huge options to choose from. Special shoutout to Ms. Mahpra from Front Office. Mr Akram and Me Zohaib have been phenomenal throughout our stay. Mr Salman as an all-rounder. Really really glad I am coming back again in 3 days and all my future bookings in Srinagar will be without a doubt here only.

Very nice small hotel with very helpful and courteous staff. Everything was good. We took room with breakfast and dinner. Both meals were good. My only suggestion would be to include a few Kashmiri wazwan speciallity dishes in Dinner. Those were available and very good and delicious ones but were alacarte. I would like here to mention Mr Rashid and Mr Rashid Both at the reception, they were very helpful and courteous. Mr Tasduk in the restaurant was extra courteous and helpful in the restaurant. The only thing negative was the rooms had a side view. Only the suits had the front view which is excellent

The food was awesome The room are huge and very clean special thanks to Mr Tilak raj from house keeping to maintain this kind of standard The hotel is very close from the Halipad only need to improve in their service The front office staff Mr Pawan was very polite and the check in process was also very smooth The ambience is also very good.

Me and my wife stayed here on 8th december 2023. Rooms: amenities: sapcious rooms, gyser, a/c temperature control, clean room, clean washroom. Food: nice. Overall the hotel stay and service was very good. The location of the hotel is a bit outside from the main city- lal chowk/ dal lake but it's not that far if you have a taxi auto booked. Also the city ebus stops at the doorstep at the hotel, which is convivent to roam around within city.

The location is walking distance to lal chowk. It's a quiet road, fairly clean. Decor is nice, room has heater and electric blanket and fan. Warm water seems to be available mornings but mostly not on evenings possibly because of the freezing temperatures this time of year. For me personally it was a problem as i normally take evening showers as well. Every room had a window afaik. Breakfast was highly enjoyable and recommended. Staff are polite and helped me get auto as well on my departure. Overall the experience was pleasant enough and if you only normally take one bath shower a day it would be ok

The location was kind of convenient but then again, to what? The service was friendly, proficient and professional. I spilled a beverage on the bathroom floor so I used some tissues to wipe it off, lo and behold the tissues turned black. I was gobsmacked. Similar situation occurred in the living area with identical results. So needless to say hygiene is not of primary importance. Also when closed the toilet seat, the rear of the cover was stained with, I would imagine, urine. The Kitchen: The Chef and the maitre de saved the day as the dinner was of a very high standard, Congratulations guys, well done 👏 ✔️

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, in fact we reached the hotel at 8:30am and they allowed us for early check in without any extra charges. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast spread is also good not that lavish but still good. And the add-on perk is, that they give facilities like gym, steam, suna on the house with no added charges.

Fabulous location, we were welcomed very warmly and the car was valet parked which was important as it was cold and raining. We were offered a warm drink and a comfortable place to sit whilst the formalities of check in were completed. We didn’t even have time to finish our drink before we were offered an upgraded room at no extra cost. WOW! The room was spacious, beautifully dressed and we were shown our own private balcony with the most spectacular view and this was also very nicely furnished. Everything was as we’d hoped and expected, because the hotel is EXPENSIVE, but we received exactly what we paid for. All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the Pandemic has affected everyone and this hotel has had to do it’s best to survive these difficult times. The facilities in the Spa have been cut back to save costs but when we went to use it the place was warmed and treatments were enhanced to ensure we were more than satisfied. Luxury is expensive and we really enjoyed the pampering!!! All I can say is that this hotel and the treatment of their guests is everything you would expect for the price you have to pay. If wehad unlimited money we would stay only here when we visit Kashmir, which I do often to visit family. Even when we do visit family here we often visit the hotel, just to enjoy the gardens and admire the building and the ambience. Although we may not spend one penny on these visits the treatment by the staff has always been the same as we experienced on this visit. One word to describe this hotel FABULOUS.

The food was beyond amazing … specially a heaven for people looking for no onion garlic food .. the staff was very cooperative loved the service by Sunil , Asian chef and chef bhawani.. he specially prepared no onion garlic food for us Now it’s our go to place for every meal whenever in Katra

Property location is near railway or near main market and front view is mata veshno devi. Food service is also very good and healthy and hygiene and also what do u want pure veg price is not to much. Service is waooo the staff and owner is reliable l and helpful for any thing what u want

Top of the class staff ; they go out of their way to help customers! Owner is an excellent person always on reach for his customers! They have a superb kitchen providing fabulous North Indian dishes and a very good dining place ; room service provided for weary pilgrims.
