I just loved it, my favourit place to stay in sri lanka.
I had an amazing time at the ravana range. I stayed there for three nights over christmas, as a solo traveler and the stuff was really really concerned that i‘m having a great time. Everytime i came back from activities they welcomed me and it felt a little bit like coming home.
They organised a christmass dinner for all the guests and it was just amazing. The stuff did put a lot of effort in the whole event, a big buffet, special christmass coctails, christmass cake, a bit variety of amazing dishes (also as a vegie), etc.
The rooms are big, clean and every room comes with a little outside area. Nothing to criticise.
But what i loved the most was the fantastic view you have from some of the rooms and from the outside area of the hotel. You could see the whole valley and sometimes also the sunrise. Was sad to leave and i will come back! Thank you so much

Our stay here was absolutely remarkable, and we highly recommend this place to everyone. The staff are some of the kindest, most generous, and genuinely involved people we have ever encountered — their warmth truly made our stay unforgettable.
The surroundings are peaceful, and it’s magical to watch animals right from the pool. The food is extraordinary — both breakfast and dinner were among the most delicious meals we had in Sri Lanka.
The rooms are spacious and offer beautiful views over the fields, where we could see peacocks, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Another highlight is that the hotel provides bicycles for free, making it easy and fun to explore the nearby area.
The pool is large and perfect for relaxing, rounding out a truly special experience.
We will definitely be coming back and can’t recommend this place enough.

Am Anfang wurde unsere Hotelbestätigung nicht gefunden. Nach wenigen Minuten bekamen wir doch unsere Zimmer. Der Potie war sehr nett .

Все было очень хорошо! Завораживающие пейзажи. Отличный персонал, который работает максимально старательно, чтобы угодить гостям отеля.
Единственное, что меня расстроило это двухспальная кровать, на которой вместо одного матраса, было два отдельных матраса. В таких случаях между этими матрасами на кровати ”яма”.

洗手間的透氣窗是直通室外的，晚上開燈後會有蚊子飛進來、小壁虎爬進來。房間可能是因為太過於潮濕有一股氣味。不過，酒店的服務很好，我們第二天早上去Safari由於越野車卡在了泥坑裡耽誤了時間，回酒店比較晚，酒店還打電話過來問我們需不需要留出我們的早餐。

Great glamping site with a brilliant safari trip. Ask for MJ to guide you in the park, he was excellent - knowledgeable, engaged and discreet. It rained heavily while we were there but it didn’t dampen our spirits. Highly recommended!

我們訂的行政別墅，樓下一個大床，樓上兩個略小床墊。電動窗簾拉開就是幾乎全景玻璃陽台，可以看到外麪茶山。還能看到三孔橋和路過火車。
mini bar裏面給了幾十包茶包，都是免費，四瓶玻璃瓶水也是免費，酒和飲品收費。
游泳池很好看很出片，像無邊泳池。
一定要選帶晚餐的，晚餐是點菜式五道式，非常可口，也很特別，不含飲料。早餐也有一個很特別的脆皮蛋包，通往餐廳的路上能拍到很美的照片。
唯一就是蚊蟲比較多，整個行程唯一的兩個包就是在這裏晚上睡覺時候被咬的

ビュッフェの朝食、夕食をいただきましたが、どれも美味しくスリランカ料理を楽しむことができました。
朝食時にマネージャーの方に声をかけていただきホテルのホスピタリティーよ素晴らしさが伝わってきました。

TtorinessKeeping in mind this is a 3 star hotel, the positives are the rooms are big with a balcony looking out at amazing views (ours anyway), and the pool is clean and quite big also with amazing views and a concrete elephant water feature!!! The location of the hotel is pretty good too - far enough from other properties to be quiet but close enough to Ella main drag that you can walk in 10-15 minutes or pay a tuk tuk driver double the rate of Colombo to get to and from. The big negative for us was that despite being told upon checking in that the room would be cleaned every day, it was not. And I was told the reason why was that we didn’t hand in our key for it to be done - which seems bizarre after staying in hotels for decades and not being told to or having to hand in a key in order to get a standard daily room clean. The insinuation that it was our fault for not handing in a key (not that we were told to do so on checking in) was extremely irritating. Food was ok but overpriced so we ate elsewhere (lots of options). There were lots of little things in the rooms that could be easily addressed to make them nicer - definitely not having ripped old bath towels, and removing an empty TV bracket from the wall (like a TV used to be there but not anymore - or was it just our room, who knows). All these little things add up to I really think the room rate is too high - but we are here in the high season so maybe that’s just the going rate.

The **breakfast was a highlight** – a **delicious, wide spread** that set the perfect tone for our days. The **prime location** was unbeatable – just a **2-minute walk to the main city center**, with easy access to **trending restaurants and vibrant spots**.
What truly made our stay special was the **attentive service and warm atmosphere**. **Great food, fantastic service, and genuinely caring staff** – we couldn’t have asked for more!

One thing which can make more effective is WhatsApp service. WhatsApp will speed up things. Service was prompt if you have a Srilanka number over phone call.

Cons: Arrived around 3pm, and waited for a full hour to check in, almost collapsed. The room has no air conditioning and simple facilities. Open bathroom, don't take a shower at night, it will be cold.

TTraveling TanOur recent stay at Mandara Rosen Yala was a genuinely pleasant experience. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness was evident, and the staff were consistently helpful, making our visit thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast each morning provided a good start to the day, while the dinner buffet was particularly impressive, offering a fabulous spread that was a highlight of our evenings.
The hotel's serene atmosphere allowed us to relax and recharge, which was much appreciated after exploring the local area. We felt welcomed and valued as guests throughout our stay, thanks to the attentive service.
If our travels bring us back to Kataragama, Mandara Rosen Yala will certainly be our hotel of choice once more. It's an establishment that promises comfort and excellent dining experiences.

GGuest UserLocated between Karatagama town and Yala National Park Karatagama gate, much quieter than other park gates. Essentially equipped room, clean and well maintained swimming pool. Breakfast and Dinner is decent and properly prepared. Staff is friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserA very magical travel experience. We went to the campground at 9 o'clock in the evening. The jeep was bumpy for ten minutes and felt almost sold. After we arrived, we found the new continent. Plus we didn’t eat. The taste of BBQ was average. But there are many small animals bowing their heads when eating. Accompanying, looking up is full of stars, very atmospheric
