The location is not bad, it’s literally a 3-minute walk to one of the beaches. There is a restaurant inside the hotel where the food is very tasty and at an affordable price. The reception staff is very nice and friendly. There are two swimming pools inside the hotel, quite decent and comfortable. In terms of price/quality ratio, this is a good hotel. The breakfasts were monotonous and on the 4th day the omelette didn’t work anymore 😃 the delicious croissants saved the day. The room was cleaned very poorly (I had to ask for re-cleaning.

Superbe hôtel, calme et accueillant. Avons passé 8 jours et sincèrement on a été comme des coqs en pâte. Le personnel est très attentif et prévenant. Les chambres suffisamment grandes, propres et confortables avec une superbe vue sur la mer et Nazaré, et une literie au top. Les serveurs et serveuses lors des repas sont à nos petits soins.
J'ai une pensée pour notre maître d'hôtel Luis, qui nous a choyés tous les soirs au restaurant.
Je reviendrai avec un immense plaisir.

It is a hotel that is not surprisingly high on TripAdvisor. There is also a work desk, rooms are large, and the bus terminal and station are within walking distance. Supermarkets and cafes are also nearby. The hotel itself may be a bit old, but it has been renovated and you can spend it comfortably. Caldas itself is a very small town, so there was no taxi waiting for the station, and I was forced to walk to the hotel. If you are planning to travel by rail, you should be careful.

Although there are no natural juices, breakfast is very good. It has a lot of varied fruit and all sorts of good things. The mattress on the bed was a disgrace, very bad indeed. Cleaning is also not perfect and has carpet. The water in the outdoor pool was green and very cloudy. With the exception of one girl at breakfast, the staff are not very friendly.

Room was ok, spa did not have availability and pool was far from being ok. Water was cold for an interior pool and needed some renovation. Spa was totally booked, could not even enjoy and that was the purpose of the stay. Room was good, breakfast should have more variety and staff should have more attention to cleaning the space. Coffee and juice machines were just filthy and tables dirty. For one night ok, for more will not consider this hotel.

Gostei do atendimento do staff e da comida servida.
O pequeno almoço foi o expectável para um hotel de 4 estrelas.
Um quarto era um pouco pequeno e a divisória da banheira não estava limpa como deveria, pois apresentava manchas calcárias das gotas de água.
O hall do andar do quarto onde ficamos não estava bem decorada e era muito ”despido”

O hotel está bem situado para uma vista privilegiada sobre o mar, com um spa muito aceitável e muito bom pequeno almoço.
Pena não haver estacionamento próprio, bem como uma melhor sinalética dos quartos e valências e, importante, a falta de roupão....

GGuest UserThe village, Aljubarrota, is itself of great historical interest. It is around 10 minutes to Alcobaca. We found the area to be very pleasant. As for the Casa da Padeira itself, the quality of service and comfort was extremely good. For example, the breakfast was excellent, as were the rooms and the immediate surroundings of the Casa. I should add that we were given a list of suggested restaurants in the vicinity which turned out to be quite useful.
In all, this was a surprising, very worthwhile visit.

GGuest UserLoved staying at the Casa. It is very quiet, relaxing and beautiful property. The gardens and the pool are excellent. Yet, you are close to the center within 15 minutes of walk. the breakfast was really good and a nice way to interact with other guests. I wish there was a kettle in the room. And the bathroom had a musty smell. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Bedroom was faultlessly comfortable and the outside area with small plunge pool was fantastic
It’s in a small village 10-15 mins away from nice restaurants and the lagoon/sea and very quiet and peaceful.
I would hesitate for a second to book again!

Hahaha Ficaria de fato 1 semana facil, o staff é incrivel, o restaurante embaixo tem comida incrivel a preco justo, tudo muito limpo, não tem mosquitos, e cada cama tem seu “armario” incrivel!
