We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The whole team provides very professional service and are always helpful. The hotel decor, room and amenities are all luxurious. The location is convenient and within walking distance to most tourist attractions in the old town. Most importantly, what you see in the hotel website is what you actually get on-site (which is not always the case)!

Location is very convenient. I came around 10am and they already had my room ready by 12 and let me check in. So I’m very grateful. I really liked the breakfast best breakfast i ever had probably. They had avocados.., you never get avocados and just a very nice selection of breads and fruits the breakfast was overall 10/10!! They even offered to make me iced coffe with oat milk. I’m beyond impressed for the price point you get way more than expected.

Short break getaway!
Great location, Lovely room comfortable bed had a great night sleep . , I fully enjoyed the health spa. Swim sauna and steam room. Check out the Santana restaurant
Buffet lunch all home made food , delicious !
Overall it was a lovely stay, a peaceful retreat just what I needed from the hustle and bustle ( Lobdon ) from the city life .

Porto was an amazing stopover. Vincci Ponte de Ferro was a great choice for us being so close to everything we wanted to see but quiet for a restful sleep after s long day of exploring. The views from the hotel is not something we’ll forget for a long, ling time!

ホテルの皆さんとても良くしてくださりました。
場所も観光するにはとても便利なところで、全て徒歩で行けます。最初に地図でロケーションを説明してくれるのでとてもわかりやすいです。また、今回は予約が取れませんでしたが、Blind という変わった思考のレストランがあり非日常を味わえる空間だと思います。ほぼ全ての部屋がスィートで、とてもスタイリッシュで、素敵な空間でした。

Lovely hotel in a superb location in Old Town Porto. Can walk to major attractions, restaurants and bakeries within 5 minutes. Very friendly staff and clean environment. The hotel breakfast is delicious and freshly cooked every morning. Major credits given to the two young lady chef who prepared wonderful breakfast.

Prima hotel ,grote mooie kamers met prima bedden e heerlijke douche, goed ontbijt, mooi zwembad,maar geen 5 sterren hotel meer een 4 sterren
Inchecken was vriendelijke dame die werd geholpen door haar vriendelijke supervisor maar met kauwgum in haar mond vind dat persoonljk niet kunnen.
Sfeerloze lobby , restaurant en ontbijtzaal
Vriendlijke bediening bij het rooftop zwembad
Ligt wel vlak bij het strand maar wat verder van het echte centrum.

Tudo ótimo: cama, banho, pequeno-almoço, limpeza, localização, ambiente. O único inconveniente foi que a sauna não estava apta para uso mesmo tendo sido pedido para aquele horário (o front desk provavelmente esqueceu).

SSoheil MalekiI would have loved to have given this place 5/5 stars for everything but as soon as we arrived, the noise from outside was very loud, upon bringing it to the attention of the staff, they said they ”fixed the door” as it was a very large patio door but the sound was still as if we were camping outside. I managed to live with this but the rooms television was also boy possible to connect any outside devices and the Netflix just wouldn't launch which we were told it is what it is with the TV. The thing that annoyed me the most was the fact that you have to pay to use the swimming pool that they so elegantly advertise in their photos. As an extremely regular traveller, this was an absolute first for me and really didn't make any sense to me. Otherwise the place was clean, and looked very nice. Parking was 20 euros per night which was actually more expensive than hiring the car but I guess they charge for location.

GGuest UserThis was not the first time I've been at this hotel. It's a nice place to spend a few nights. The breakfast food is good in terms of variety and the staff is nice and helpful. The spa is always a pleasant place for you to relax. However, the buttons of the jets don't work properly, specially the ones that are only accessible when you are in the pool, which can be frustrating if you like to use them and won't be able to. This time, the sauna was out of work, as well, but they were fixing it. They didn't really seem worried about fixing the jets' buttons, though... When I was at the hotel last year, they weren't already working properly, but now I couldn't even get them to work. The ones that would work, wouldn't be active for a long time after you pressed on them. In other Spas, they usually work for a few minutes when you turn them on. In this one, they would only be active for about 20/30 seconds at a time. The room I stayed in, had a different display. You would go through a corridor with the bathroom at the front and on the left you had the sleeping area. I liked it because it would conceal the noises coming from the outside a bit better. All rooms have a balcony, but something that feels that is always missing are a couple of chairs and a table. The balcony becomes useless without them! I couldn't open the bathroom door well (not even in 90 degrees in relation to the entrance) because it would bump on the bidet. Also, the shower and glass covering the bathtub seemed to be at the wrong wall because it was inevitable to wet the entire toilet when you showered. The corners were a bit dusty and the bathroom bin hasn't been changed from the previous guest. I think the cleanliness can be improved.

GGuest UserWe had a lovely stay at this hotel. Location was the best thing about it. Right in the centre walking distance to most places we wanted to visit. We were lucky enough to be able to view the Christmas lights switch on and fireworks that were positioned just outside the hotel on the first night. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the spa was a nice option to have on a morning. we wanted to relax. All staff we encountered were very welcoming!

GGuest UserVery good hotel, but you had to ask for a toothbrush when normally hotels provide them without being asked. Be careful, the hotel records your credit card and will still charge you 3€ without your consent + the tourist tax, while in other 5 star hotels they don't do this.

RRomstarJust far enough from the busy crowded spots to feel peaceful, yet close enough to walk and or catch many different forms of transport.
We booked planning to use the Sauna and Spa after a busy days sight seeing. Unfortunately they had time Limits that didnt allow such comfort, but that just made us do more in gorgeous Porto itself. The garden are well kept, a lovely, and not so small, green space to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
Ana checked us in, she was wonderfully fun and full of so much helpful Information!! She gave us a fantastic, if not a little too ambitious itinerary for our short visit. And not one piece of advice Was wrong! Thankyou!!
The apartments are nice, they have a warm grounding vibe. Everything Was comfortable except our bed, but that is always relative to who's sleeping in it.
Well equipped for short stays, extra kitchen Equipment was available on request. But theres too many delicious options practically on your doorstep. We barely Even had coffee in our room.
I would gladly return and stay at Apartments Oporto Anselmo again. And recommend

I was only there for a night but I would have loved to stay longer! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. There were even 2x complimentary fruit drinks & glass bottled mineral water in the mini bar. Fantastic!

11581868****The hotel has a great location, with plenty of bus and shared bikes nearby, and it's close to the beach for easy access.
Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very clean and well-maintained.
What's particularly noteworthy is the excellent service! The staff were very welcoming, attentive, and considerate, leaving a lasting impression. On the day I checked out, I had to catch a train early the next morning, and the hotel thoughtfully provided us with breakfast boxes.
Snacks were readily available in the lobby and hallways. The hotel breakfast also offered a wide variety of options.

CCChuanyouceThe hotel itself is a historical building, and every corner is like a work of art! The room is quite large, and I was surprised that they even gave me a small gift bag (eye mask, earplugs, etc.), unlimited free water, but the mini bar needs to be charged, the bedding is very good, and the bathroom is also a local brand, which is very moisturizing.
The breakfast options are relatively few compared to 5-star hotels. We stayed for 3 nights and the variety of breakfast did not change. This needs to be improved (because even some 4-star hotels have better products and varieties than this)
The room cleaning is not timely. The next day, we even had to call them to change the toiletries, and many equipments took a long time to be delivered.
The service is basically very warm and considerate.
The location is really super convenient, and you can walk everywhere.
