Hotel Dengan Pools di Zanzibar North Region, Tanzania

This hotel is very nice if you think about the price to quality ratio. People who work there are ok. The hotel is clean and has a nice restaurant inside that serves many dishes. There was music during the day and the cleaning service did a good job. The only thing that is not on is not about the hotel but about the area - when we get out of the hotel many street and beach vendors aggressively approach us. The hotel is ok so you can go there and rest for even a few weeks but the area is dangerous so stay safe in the hotel. Some of the street vendors are so rude that they are going after you from the beach to the hotel main door where the body guard stops him.

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms. In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎

Nice cosy room, hot water, bath robe and Beach towels provided. Allowed for late checkout and accommodating for luggage holds. White sandy beaches with security on site. Beach fire in the evening makes for a nice wind down.

The Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed. The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏 The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access). The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂 The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few. It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach. It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. I had a wonderful stay in Zanzibella from the beginning the staff are so kind and everything was amazing overall i would definitely come back,would rate it 10/10

This hotel is something special. A unique personal feel, with lots of little hang out areas, a lovely pool and comfortable sun loungers. The staff were very welcoming and sorted everything out for me, from airport transfers to a snorkeling trip. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and cared for. Highly recommend.

My stay at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis was absolutely magical. Waking up to the ocean in view and catching the sunrise daily was golden – a truly breathtaking way to start each day. The hotel’s private beach was such a serene and peaceful retreat, offering the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the turquoise waters away from the crowds. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had the best night’s sleep, and the staff were so attentive and helpful, always going above and beyond to make my stay truly special. The food was top-notch, with every dish prepared to perfection, and the night entertainment was amazing, adding a lively yet elegant touch to the evenings. The rooftop bar, with its stunning panoramic views of the ocean, was an absolute highlight – a sight to behold and the perfect place to unwind. Nungwi Dreams by Mantis is a serene oasis away from the busyness of Nungwi, offering both relaxation and unforgettable experiences. I can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise!

Our stay at Mora has totally exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very nice and clean, food and drinks were very delicious and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We have spent 4 nights there during our honeymoon and everyone made us feel very special. Would highly recommend it to everyone and would be happy to stay there again
