"I stayed at Chongqing Yanyu Hotel (Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street Hongyadong Branch) during a short solo transit in Chongqing, and it turned out to be a really convenient and comfortable choice.
The location is definitely the highlight — right in the heart of Jiefangbei and within walking distance to Hongyadong. As a solo traveler with limited time, it made exploring the city super easy, even just for a quick evening stroll. There are plenty of food options, convenience stores, and cafes nearby, I had a hotpot and walked back at 1 am and still felt safe.
The room was clean, modern and surprisingly cozy for the price. It had everything I needed for a short stay — a comfortable bed, decent shower, it’s well-maintained and practical.
Service was friendly and efficient, though English may be limited — something to keep in mind if you don’t speak Mandarin. Still, the staff were helpful and did their best to assist.
For a transit stop or short solo stay, I’d definitely recommend it. Great value, unbeatable location, and stress-free for travelers just passing through Chongqing.
PS. I took a K01 bus from the airport and the hotel is at the last stop then you have to walk for just 150 metres to get to the hotel"

"5 minits walk frm Mrt Longjiamen metro, 7 minutes walk to Louhan Temple(1000yrs Temple), 15 minutes walk to Jiangbei Street, 10 minutes walk to Hongyadong. Bus tour trip pick up point just in front hotel. Hotel at Lev 13,14,15. I stay here for 4days love it very much. Very comfortable bed soft, Xiatu help me operator tv and window blind. Wil come stay again next trip if come again."

VVenny黄蕰霓I had an incredible stay on the 28th floor! The room was exceptionally wide and spacious, giving us plenty of breathing room. The view of Chongqing from this height is absolutely spectacular, especially at night when the city lights up. Everything was sparkling clean, and the housekeeping did a fantastic job. The location is also perfect—there are so many great restaurants just a short walk away, making it easy to find something delicious at any hour. Highly recommended!

My room's view was fantastic, looking at the two rivers joining. The staff were also top notch, quick to reply and helpful. I'd love to come back here also next time.

Great location: Literally 1 min away from Lingjiangmen station (line 2) and jiefangbei. Plenty of affordable food options available till late night.
Great service: the lady manager personally brought us up to our room and explained how to use it. There is no phone in the room but the lady manager added me to her wechat to send me recommendations on where to eat and where to visit. We can also text her if we have any questions. Really passionate about her work yet not overbearing and pushy. There is another older male staff who is less friendly but still delivers service well.
Room: so cozy that we didnt want to leave our room. Bed was firm. 2 choices of pillows. Shower had good water pressure. Clothes line for us to hang wet clothes. i also like that they provided a rack near the door where u can hang jackets & sit down to wear shoes. they also provided bedroom slippers, toothbrush, shower caps. Tv had many choices of free local tv programs. Room size was spacious enough for the 3 of us and carpeted. Plenty of power sockets. Everything looks new & well maintained. I feel secure too because u need a password to access the room area.
Negatives: 1) the do not disturb sign does not seem to work. The cleaning lady still came in but no complaints since she kindly cleared the dustbin & topped up bottled water and toilet paper, which i appreciated. 2) the building consists of many tenants so have to wait quite some time for the lifts. 3) the hotel name is not displayed on the building exterior. So u need to look for Times Square Apartments, then look for C 座， and take the lift to level 25.
Overall, i feel that the management of the hotel really thought through what guests really need from a hotel stay and delivered it well. One of my favorite hotel stays ever!

PPengguna TetamuI was only staying in a nice hotel for 1 night so I wanted to make it a good one. I did 4 hours research before deciding on this hotel. My criteria was that it had to have the best views of the city and of the river bank lights. It also had to have a bath tub and feel slightly extraordinary. Happy to report my research did not disappoint. I noticed that a lot of the most expensive instagrammable hotels were all in the same area and even the same building. This one is also on the 56th floor so you are guaranteed to be getting a great view depending on which side of the building the room you pick is. I chose one looking at the WFC building and the river bank and it was great. The hotel is all on one floor though and you can walk around and getting views from all side if you want. The room was super nice and definitely special. Not quite as novelty boutique as some of the other more expensive ones, but with the same view and great room still. As this is a small hotel there is no breakfast, but thats ok. The staff are also really nice and welcoming/helpful and give you a little goodie bag of treats when you leave. For price to what you get ratio, it hits all the marks.

LLaKdoudou1. Lokasi hotel sangat baik Ia sangat dekat dengan Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, stesen kereta api bawah tanah Ciqikou dan tepi sungai, dan pengangkutan adalah mudah. Di belakang hotel adalah Baixiang Street Terdapat beberapa orang dan pemandangannya bagus, sesuai untuk mengambil gambar Terdapat banyak restoran di atas, yang sangat mudah. Di tingkat bawah hotel adalah Balai Polis Chaotianmen, yang sememangnya selamat.
2. Keadaan bilik dan kebersihannya baik. Biliknya cukup besar, tingkapnya cukup luas, dan pemandangannya dalam dua arah. Terdapat peti sejuk, mesin basuh, ketuhar gelombang mikro dan pinggan mangkuk. Katilnya cukup besar dan sofanya cukup empuk Ia boleh tidurkan orang dewasa di atas sofa. Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah pintunya agak lemah dan goyah, dan ia tidak berasa cukup selamat.
3. Perkhidmatan, kakitangan sangat bersemangat, mereka membantu membuka pintu dan menolak bagasi di lobi, dan simpanan bagasi juga sangat formal.
4. Sarapan, saya perlu mengadu tentang ini. Ia terlalu buruk. Restoran ini sangat kecil. Ia mengambil masa yang lama untuk mencari tempat duduk, makanan hanya beberapa perkara yang mudah. Ramai yang beratur nak masak mee dan tak ada pesanan semuanya bergantung pada suara lantang anda. Jadi saya dengan tegas membatalkan sarapan pagi Terima kasih kepada perkhidmatan pelanggan Ctrip, ia hebat dan sangat cekap.

LLanya888I was very satisfied with the choice of this hotel. Room was super clean, everything in order. Room cleaning happens everyday. It had everything we might have needed: charger, hairdryer, even soap for hand washing clothes.
Room was spacious and with a nice projector we used to watch tv on our last night.
Service was excellent and very nice anywhere we went - reception, breakfast floor, cleaning staff, thank you!
Breakfast had a variety of Chinese and western food, so everybody can choose for themselves.
Location was superb, we were even joking we are going circles around our hotel when visiting most sightseeings in the city Center.
Metro just few minutes away by feet.
For those who struggled a bit to find the entrance when coming from the famous square:
Cross the bridge on the left (not on the right) and then enter the C building, to the very left. You are on the 22st floor, just go down by the elevator to the reception on the 1st floor.
If I go to Chongqing again, I am definitely staying here!

CChooMNMom and myself had a lovely stay at this hotel! While there were some signs of wear and tear, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The service was exceptional—attentive and thoughtful. To our delight, they even upgraded our room!
The private hot spring in our room was the highlight of the stay. It was perfectly warm and relaxing—just what I needed.
The resort was easy to explore on foot, and one of the standout features was the pet paradise. They had a variety of well-cared-for animals, including goats, chickens, deer, ducks, and more. It was such a unique and delightful experience!
The buffet breakfast was impressive, with plenty of options to enjoy. A special mention to the chef for preparing a perfectly poached egg—it was flawless!
A big shoutout to the Hanfu photography team. They were so friendly and welcoming! I’d like to give a special compliment to photographerMr. Yan Yan (许晏晏）who was incredibly enthusiastic and made our experience extra memorable. His warmth and energy truly elevated our entire stay at Banyan.
