Hotel Romantik di Shanghai

This is a 4 stars hotel with a 5 stars hotel service. The way they make their way to the lift just to press button for you, the way all staff including the housekeeping cheerfully greet you every time they see us, the free laundry services (they wash and dry for you, not self service), this hotel is where you would want to stay at when you’re in Shanghai. Big kuddos to all the front desk staff, male and females, and the Disney tour guide Ms. Li that we engaged from hotel last minute to make our Disneyland trip easier and happier ❤️

Hotel ini terletak kira-kira 300 meter dari Stesen Kereta Api Shanghai, lokasi yang hebat, sangat dekat dengan segala-galanya. Pintu masuknya jauh lebih besar daripada dalam gambar! Bahagian yang terbaik ialah sarapan pagi yang sangat banyak! Terdapat beberapa jenis buah-buahan, jauh mengatasi mana-mana hotel lain dalam julat harga yang sama! Semua pelayannya langsing dan cantik, dengan perkhidmatan yang sangat baik. Ini adalah permata tersembunyi di hotel ini, semua orang harus mencubanya!!

I had a very pleasant stay at Le Méridien Shanghai Sheshan. Although the hotel is not brand new, it is very well maintained and remains in excellent condition. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept throughout my stay. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options and quality food. I would especially like to thank Bob for his kindness and professionalism. He was extremely helpful and made me feel very welcome. The concierge team also did a great job — they were efficient, responsive, and always ready to assist. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. I would be happy to stay here again when visiting Happy Valley.

Recommended hotel with nice service with good facilities. The location is nearby Mall at Chuansha area. Room is large, so you don't need to worry to put your luggage, and it's very clean. They provides complete amenities in the room, had laundry room with iron steamer, gym and nice breakfast venue too. They staff are very helpful yet serving a fast check in process and smooth transportation arrangement to Disneyland and Pudong Airport.

Me and my family had a great stay. Good location, convienent and near the key places to visit. The adventure zone helped alot for wet weather back up. The best thing was the great helpful staff. They even prepare well to receive kids

I enjoy my stay with my family especially the outdoor view of the bund. The retreat room was ice on top. Breakfast was so delicious, serving western and Asian food. I’ve tried Asian fruits I’ve been looking forward to taste and to my surprise they were not as sweet as I thought but they taste really good. My last days holidays end up here and I’m glad I booked here, it worth the price!

First of all, I want to thank Manager Peter for upgrading our room to Executive Room. It gave us an excellent stay and experience. He was very helpful considering he's the only one who can speak English. He even helped us with our Taobao orders, online food cravings, etc. Even when he's on leave, the other receptionist was calling him and let him talk to us in English. He didn't have to do that since it's late at night but still, we appreciate it. Pros: 1. The Executive room was huge. 2. Variety of breakfast at the hotel and the One Step Restaurant that serve western food. 3. You can do your laundry for free. 4. Make-up room service was consistent and gave us generous amount of water bottles. 5. The whole vibe of the hotel was light and positive. 6. Smart toilet. 7. The hotel area was huge and full of trees, we didn't mind staying at the hotel for a whole day because of how relqxing it was. 8. With fresh towels everyday and the room jas a dyson hairdryer. Cons: 1. Only one person can communicate in straight english but app translate works. 2. The location was a bit far from the nearest MRT station but since the fare was cheap, we didn't mind at all. 3. Other than the restaurant, there is no convenience store nearby so buying food might be a struggle. Make sure you buy food/snacks before going back at the hotel. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and will definitely recommend the hotel because of the service and the amenities. Thank you for the upgrade and youe service, Peter. 😊

Servis di kaunter hadapan sentiasa berada pada standard yang tinggi, tanpa sebarang kemerosotan perkhidmatan. Mereka mengendalikan masalah dengan objektif, adil, prihatin dan cekap. Pembersihan bilik harian dilakukan dengan teliti, memastikan seluruh bilik kering dan kemas. Bekalan kelengkapan juga ditambah tepat pada masanya. Hotel ini mempunyai pelbagai kemudahan yang lengkap, dan hiasan keseluruhannya terpelihara seperti baru. Lokasi yang strategik memudahkan pergerakan, dan pemandangan dari tingkat atas adalah sangat baik, membolehkan anda menikmati panorama bandar dari bilik anda.

Sukar untuk saya katakan sama ada pengalaman menginap ini selesa atau tidak selesa. Dengan harga RM1300 semalam tanpa sarapan, ia boleh dianggap sebagai hotel mewah di Shanghai. Pengangkutan awam tidak dapat sampai terus ke sini; anda perlu memandu sendiri atau menaiki teksi. Kereta akan ditahan jauh di luar pintu masuk hotel, dan anda perlu menunjukkan tempahan hotel untuk dibenarkan masuk. Pada mulanya, saya sangka peraturan ini adalah untuk keselamatan dan ketenangan tetamu, tetapi sebaik sahaja melangkah masuk lobi, saya benar-benar terkejut… suasana sesak bagai pasar ikan, tidak keterlaluan jika dikatakan begitu. Dan hampir 99% daripadanya adalah keluarga dengan anak kecil. Kanak-kanak bersepah di mana-mana! Sungguh mengerikan! Mereka menjerit, berlari, dan bermain dengan riuh-rendah. Bagi mereka yang sukakan ketenangan, segalanya musnah sebaik melangkah masuk lobi. Saya faham kebanyakan tetamu di sini datang untuk ke Disneyland. Disneyland adalah dunia dongeng dan syurga kanak-kanak, tetapi adakah syurga seharusnya sesibuk dan bising ini? Proses daftar masuk agak rumit. Dengan begitu ramai orang, buanglah prosedur rumit itu dan tingkatkan kecekapan. Beratur untuk daftar masuk seperti waktu puncak di taman tema, memang sungguh… Ini sama sekali bukan suasana yang patut ada di hotel pada harga sebegitu. Bagi dua tetamu yang menginap di bilik yang sama, kad akses awal (early access card) dicetak pada satu kad. Saya faham mungkin ini untuk mengelakkan penjualan semula oleh ulat tiket, tetapi di kad itu sudah tercetak jelas ‘satu kad untuk 2 orang’, jadi kenapa tidak cetak satu kad untuk seorang sahaja? Bukan semua tetamu yang menginap bersama akan bangun awal untuk masuk taman. Set kelengkapan mandi perlu diambil secara berasingan di kaunter penerimaan tetamu. Di dalamnya hanya ada ubat gigi, berus gigi, dan sikat; tiada topi mandi. Baiklah, saya faham ini mungkin langkah mesra alam, tetapi tiada sebarang makluman di halaman tempahan sebelum membuat tempahan. Sekurang-kurangnya maklumkan awal di halaman tempahan, jadi saya boleh bawa sendiri. (Saya juga tidak faham, hotel berharga RM1300 tapi saya masih perlu sediakan segalanya sendiri.) Apabila menempah jurumekap di hotel ini, perlu berhati-hati. Jurumekap datang dan diberi macam-macam maklumat tetapi tidak berkesan, akhirnya saya terpaksa turun ambil. Sangat menyusahkan. Keesokan harinya, kami bangun awal untuk menaiki bas perantara ke taman tema. Beratur pun sesak dengan orang ramai! Sangat mengerikan! Mood untuk berseronok di awal pagi benar-benar musnah. Tambahan pula, waktu daftar keluar adalah 11 pagi dan waktu daftar masuk adalah 3 petang, berbeza daripada hotel lain, jadi perlu diberi perhatian khusus. Rakan sebilik saya ingin berehat sebentar pada tengah hari dan daftar keluar pukul 12 tengah hari. Saya pergi awal berbincang dengan kakitangan, tetapi mereka langsung tidak melayan saya dan hanya berkata peraturan adalah pukul 11 pagi, kes istimewa boleh mohon untuk 12 tengah hari. Tetapi apabila rakan sebilik saya yang pergi bercakap, mereka terus bersetuju… Apa-apalah ini, ada layanan pilih kasih pula. Sudah tentu, perkhidmatan mengangkat dan menghantar bagasi ada disediakan. Bilik bersih dan kemas, disertakan barangan cenderamata Toy Story. Selipar, cawan teh, cawan berus gigi, dan peralatan lain sangat comel. 6 botol air mineral disediakan dengan mencukupi. Cuma pengering rambut sangat teruk. Selepas daftar keluar, kakitangan juga membersihkan bilik dengan teliti dan bertanggungjawab. Jika ada barang hilang, mereka akan bertanya dan menghantar ke tempat simpanan bagasi di taman secara percuma. Terdapat sebuah kedai Disney kecil di tingkat bawah untuk membeli-belah. Namun, secara peribadi, saya tidak bercadang untuk menginap di sini lagi.

Wow what can I say about this hotel. I'm from Scotland and was weiry about booking a hotel away from shanghai city centre. Glad I did the city centre was far to busy felt like coming out of a busy concert. I shouldn't have been. Using Didi saved us the hassle trying to use public transport. Please note Didi (uber) ranged from £1.40 to £16 for a long journey. Didi arrived in 3 mins max WOW. You are close to the wildlife park and Disneyland you still need Didi to take you there but as the hotel offers a free shuttle then that cost isn't there. Shanghai Village is great for shopping again close by, across from disneyland The service in this hotel is 2nd to none. Derek (Manager) and his team are first class. I've never stayed at a hotel in which the staff make you feel so welcome. From a free gift, to a free upgrade. Free fruit and the willingness to help when you dont speak the language. The breakfast wasn't to my taste but looked lovely the staff went out of their way to buy bread and jam for us. We were offered a free bus to Disneyland we declined due to being to early for us. Didi only cost £4.80. But the offer was there. Derek and his team really go out of their way as I needed something printed off and was no hassle at all. I took his WeChat number (WhatsApp) just incase I got stuck I didn't get stuck but the offer was there and made me feel relaxed and not afraid to venture out knowing I could contact him. The hotel room was cleaned every day and was spotless. Room was very large, my room when I went to Hong Kong was a quarter of the size. Impressive! Has everything you need to be safe and comfortable. I genuinely can't fault this hotel and would have no hesitation to recommend to my family and friends. The surrounding area has a KFC and supermarkets there is a lot to choose from but more Chinese food is on offer. There is a bakery a few mins walk away and the bakery goods were delicious and I got my coffee from luckin coffee make sure you have the translater on your phone very easy to order if you have that plus the staff help too. So there you have it book this hotel and enjoy the hospitality Derek and his team offer you will not be sorry. I'm so glad to have stayed there sorry to leave.
