"First, let's talk about transportation.
It's suitable for driving or taking a taxi. Of course, the hotel offers shuttle services to many places. You can check if it suits your needs.
Next, let's discuss the environment.
The environment is pretty good. This is my second stay with this brand. My previous experience in Xi'an was also very pleasant, which is why I chose it again this time. The overall decor style is similar, a low-key luxury, quite grand. Both the lobby and rooms are very clean. The restaurant is on the first floor, also quite spacious, with plenty of seating for breakfast, dinner, and late-night snacks. There's a children's play area right outside the restaurant, perfect for kids. The gym and laundry room are also on the first floor and are quite quiet.
Now, about the service.
The main reason I chose this hotel is its excellent service, and this one didn't disappoint. Before my arrival, the hotel called me a day in advance to ask if I needed a shuttle to Pudong Airport. Since I arrived at Hongqiao, I didn't book one. I spent some time in the city first, then planned to head back to the hotel in the evening and bought some snacks on Dingdong Maicai (a grocery delivery app). The front desk even helped me sign for and store them. Upon arrival, the service and reception were excellent, very attentive and responsible. The front desk also offered warm mineral water, which is great for those who prefer warm drinks, eliminating the need to boil water. The mini-fridge in the room had complimentary snacks (though I'm not sure if this is only for first-time guests on the first day, as they weren't replenished after I ate them on the first day). The family room also had comprehensive children's amenities. In the evening, you can **soak your feet with a medicinal sachet and a plastic basin, you just need to fill it with water yourself. This is perfect for anyone who's been walking all day at Disneyland. For late-night snacks, they offer wontons, rice noodles, and regular noodles, all pre-cooked, so you can just grab them from the restaurant and eat. When checking out, they even gave me some White Rabbit candy.
Finally, a few suggestions:
1. I suggest adding an additional Disney shuttle service departing at 7 AM. Disneyland security starts at 8 AM, and there are often long queues. The current two shuttle times are either too early for early park entry (but these guests miss the hotel's buffet breakfast), or too late. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, so a 7 AM shuttle would allow guests to have a hot meal. If you take the later shuttle, by the time you get there, walk to the entrance, and queue up, all the rides will already have long lines.
2. It would be helpful to include more reminders, such as suggesting guests bring hand warmers or seat cushions for watching the fireworks at Disney in winter, as it gets very cold. For those who don't want to eat at Disney, they can bring their own snacks (Dingdong Maicai can deliver to the hotel here). Before I arrived, I called the hotel, but the front desk staff wasn't aware of any apps for grocery delivery. Since many guests at our hotel definitely visit Disney, unlike other hotels, it would be beneficial to provide more attention and reminders in this area."
