GGuest UserThis hotel was a bit unexpected. I originally wanted to visit attractions in Xixia District, so I searched for a hotel with good reviews. It turned out to be in a tourist attraction, which was amazing. The hotel has an annex and a main building. Try to stay in the main building. The overall facilities of the annex are the same as those of a hospital ward. I asked the staff and they said it was a nursing home before. It feels a bit scary. Of course, it doesn't matter if you don't care.
The facilities in the main building of the hotel are much newer, and breakfast and hot springs are also convenient. However, the hot springs are really mediocre, especially the shower area, which has a smell. Maybe it's because of the May Day holiday.
The attractions are quite novel, and I saw the most people during the May Day holiday. The quality of various performances is very high, and the NPCs are very dedicated and professional, and their appearance is also online. I watched the Helan Festival and the big circus, and the price-performance ratio is not bad.
The service is generally good, whether it is the restaurant or the guest room, the service awareness is not bad.

GGuest UserThe Desert Star Hotel is truly worth a dedicated trip, making it the best base for a family desert adventure in the Tengger Desert!
The accommodation completely subverted my impression of a desert hotel. With its sealed, dust-proof design, the room was spotless. There was 24-hour hot water and soft bedding, making it comfortable despite the large temperature fluctuations between day and night. Toiletries and kids' slippers were all well-provided.
There were plenty of activities for the kids: free sandboarding, dune walks, and a professional stargazing explanation every night. My child was fully immersed in the desert and starry sky, even seeing the Milky Way with their own eyes, which was incredibly rewarding.
The biggest surprise was the complementary travel photography! The photographer was incredibly patient and great at engaging with children, gently guiding us throughout without forcing poses. The photos were taken during the golden hour of sunset, with endless yellow sand against the orange glow of dusk, creating an amazing atmosphere. The candid shots of family interactions, running, and watching the sunset were incredibly natural and heartfelt. The original photos were super clear, each one a precious souvenir, preserving our rare family desert memories.

GGuest UserThis hotel is truly unique. Its rammed earth architecture blends seamlessly with the sand dunes, creating an exotic Silk Road vibe. The infinity pool, desert bonfire, and stargazing platform are all incredibly picturesque. Waking up to a sunrise over the sand sea and seeing the Milky Way at night offers an unparalleled luxury desert experience. There's a wide array of activities, like dune bashing and camel riding, which are both therapeutic and stress-relieving. It's fantastic for travel photography – absolutely stunning!
The service is also impeccable. Our dedicated butler provided attentive support throughout our stay, available 24/7. We had car transfers for both arrival and departure, and upon check-in, we were greeted with refreshments and a travel guide. All our small requests were promptly addressed. The food was authentic and delicious, and the staff were gentle and polite, always helpful without being intrusive. It’s amazing to find such warmth and hospitality in the middle of a vast desert. Both the scenery and the service are top-notch; everyone, adults and children alike, had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities and hardware are good, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is rich. The only thing that is surprising is the service attitude, especially at the front desk. During the entire check-in, the person was cold and dejected, as if she owed her two buckets of rice. Breakfast The waiter also had no sense of service. When asked if there were fried eggs, the answer was no. The machine was broken, as if it was a matter of course. Western pastries were provided for breakfast, but no knives and forks were provided. I had to spread the bread with my mouth and dig out the jam with chopsticks! As a service industry, I believe this is closely related to the general manager of the hotel. GGuest UserThe first hotel I stayed in when I came to Yinchuan. Everything in the new hotel is very new. You can see that the decoration and equipment are also carefully designed, such as hair dryers, toothbrushes, electric toilets, humidifiers, etc. The room is quite large and has a balcony. The environment is also very clean, minimalist style, the service attitude is also very good, and the front desk lady is great~
The disadvantage is that the location is a bit remote, there are not many restaurants nearby, and you have to drive there, so it is recommended to pack breakfast. But it is still very close to the Western Xia Imperial Mausoleum, so it is recommended to check in there. Then after checking in to the new hotel, it is still recommended to open the window for ventilation.

We booked a family suite, and the room was huge with excellent natural light and ventilation. The cleanliness was exceptional, even the hard-to-reach corners were spotless. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – so we slept incredibly well. The staff were gentle and thoughtful, responding quickly to any requests. It's super convenient for dining, drinking, and getting around. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. Highly recommended, this is definitely my top choice for accommodation in the area!

This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The environment was clean and comfortable, and the attention to detail was impressive. The surrounding amenities are convenient, and the service was warm and welcoming, making for a truly enjoyable stay. They proactively explained all the facilities during check-in. The room environment exceeded expectations; it was impeccably clean and tidy. The location is super convenient, right next to Huirong Shopping Mall, and Yuhuangge Scenic Area is just behind the hotel. It's close to attractions and shopping districts, with easy access to dining and shopping. There's a free laundry room, which is a lifesaver for last-minute laundry, and you can even dry your clothes. They also provide local travel tips – definitely worth a visit!

Only then did I realize that the Ctrip pictures did not match the rooms on the 5th floor. The hotel has guest rooms on the 5th and 6th floors, and the rest are bathing centers. Only the king-bed rooms have bathtubs on the 6th floor, but not on the 5th floor. Then you should not show that there is a bathtub in the picture. Fortunately, I called for consultation and later booked a deluxe suite. To be honest, I was not surprised at all. I originally wanted to book it for 2 nights, but the room was not available the next day and was booked as a wedding room. The facilities are average, the rain shower head is flying, and there is no small shower head that can be taken down. Water pressure is very low. It didn't reflect the word luxury, so I changed to a double room the next day. The double room was fully equipped, and the shower room had a large amount of water and a small shower. The quality is better than that of deluxe suites, so as a reference, if you don’t have a requirement for room size, just book a double bed room. The facilities and environment are better than those in deluxe suites. The only bright spot is that the bath is very good. The service girls in the steam room are very good. Be patient with children. The hotel front desk service is just that, don't have high expectations. However, the service attitude of the front desk who was on duty after 3 a.m. on the 15th was very good.
