We stayed here during our Chinese New Year trip and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent. It is right next to Suochengli and near Wanda Mall, which makes everything very convenient. Traveling to other attractions in Yantai is also easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were lucky to have a sea view room. The view really made our stay more enjoyable. On Chinese New Year’s Eve, we had our reunion dinner at the hotel restaurant. Although we finished quite late, the staff remained professional and friendly throughout. We truly appreciate the team who served us that night. Highly recommended for families and holiday stays.

This hotel was tea amazing. We booked a night for an 18hour layover and found the place to be very comfortable and friendly. Food was reasonably priced, airport transfers were included and the service from the staff was amazing. We left some personal items in the room by accident and the hotel staff went above and beyond to get them back to us. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service by the hotel staff—very polite, patient, and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and offers an amazing view, making it a truly relaxing and comfortable experience. The breakfast could be improved, especially if the food were served hotter or kept warm. Food options around the hotel were also quite limited during this period due to the cold weather. However, taking a Didi ride further out is convenient and opens up a wide variety of dining choices. Overall, highly recommended, and I would definitely return again.

We really loved our two night stay here. We slept very well for our hike to Taishan. Walking distance to Hongmen gate was convenient. Room is equipped with modern amenities, nicely designed (good natural light, privacy, and air-flow), comfortable bedding, and roof deck is a bonus! Very hearty wonton soup breakfast. Very accommodating host—we used our translator app so communication was no problem! Highly recommend!

This is one of the best experience I have with Shangri-la especially the service from the front desk is impeccable! Kudos to Erin王婷!! She’s the best!! She made our trip extra special! Birthday cake was prepared for our birthday celebration, even decorated the room with flower and lights! When we request for housekeeping or anything, it gets done immediately which is pretty impressive! Once again, thank you Erin for giving us over and above service during our stay!

Overall, my stay was good. However, the Xiao Du device didn’t work throughout my visit, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, there was one day when housekeeping forgot to make up my room. Despite these issues, the front desk staff provided good service and were always helpful and polite. The location is also quite close to Dai Temple, which makes sightseeing easier.

In particular, the duty manager, Ali, made a strong impression through his proactive hospitality. As a welcome gesture, he personally brought a selection of local Shandong and Qingdao soft drinks to my room, which was a thoughtful and culturally considerate touch. This small act added a personal dimension to the stay and reflected a genuine commitment to guest experience beyond standard service expectations. Facilities appeared comprehensive, though my stay was brief and primarily focused on rest rather than exploring all offerings. The lobby and common areas were well presented, creating a calm and organised first impression. Dining options were convenient, and while not exceptional, they were satisfactory in quality and variety for a short stay. In terms of value, the hotel performs strongly. It delivers reliability, cleanliness, and comfort without unnecessary extravagance. For travelers prioritising practicality, convenience, and a good night’s sleep before or after a flight, it is a solid choice. Overall, the Grand Barony Qingdao Airport Hotel provides a balanced blend of efficiency, comfort, and accessibility. The attentive service, highlighted by small but meaningful gestures from staff such as Ali, elevates the experience and reinforces the hotel’s reputation as a high-quality and dependable airport accommodation option.

无we live in room 1006 and 1008 . Both are wonderful. Big balcony with Muskoka chairs. Unparalleled sea view 。Super comfortable bedsheets. We had a great time stay in this hotel. We definitely will book this place when traveling here.

Good standard hotel. Kids loved the activités offered as well as the soft play. Breakfast was good and pool was clean if basic. Sauna and steam room weren’t really on, temeperatures were so low as to not make them worth suing.
