Always stay in this hotel. Andrew was very helpful and upgraded my room. All good. Although I wanted a non smoking room, it did smell of smoke. Luckily it did not bother me too much.

For quite some time, I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Kempinski in Jinan, and it continues to exceed my expectations. The rooms are nothing short of breathtaking, adorned with the finest amenities that elevate every visit into a luxurious experience. The staff here is truly exceptional, and I must give a special mention to Kris at the front desk. His warm smile and regal treatment make me feel like a valued guest every time—I can’t overstate what an incredible person he is or how much he enhances the Kempinski’s stellar reputation. Another standout is Sherry, who is always just a phone call away, resolving any travel hiccups with efficiency and grace. Without a doubt, this is the premier hotel in Jinan, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. Book a stay here—you won’t regret it!

Excellent stay experience. A hotel brand stands true for its reputation. My request for early check in was considered without any hassle. Was pleasantly surprised especially after a long journey. Could not use other services such as spa, gym etc. breakfast varied and really delicious ! Loved the design of room balcony and the view very much ! In room dining was quick and pleasant.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, and the facilities are among the best in Yantai. The service was also incredibly warm and professional. We had a special episode during our stay — my son accidentally left one of his shoes in a DiDi taxi, and we were struggling to contact the driver due to the language barrier. Thankfully, staff member Dragon Xu went above and beyond to help us. He communicated with the driver, arranged for the shoe to be retrieved, and even handled all the related details and costs with great care. That shoe had a very special meaning for our family, and we’re truly grateful for his kindness and dedication. Because of this experience, we’ll definitely stay at the Pullman Yantai Center again with even more fondness next time we visit Yantai.

Great location, close to airport. Shuttle bus pick up at airport went without any issue since I have a Chinese phone number, but may be difficult to contact them without it. You need to call them to pick you up and then they will tell you where you’ll be picked up. They have shuttle bus schedule for departure from hotel so make sure you know the time and have to register via wechat. Only stayed for one night. Room was clean but the floor was a bit dirty. Took me awhile to turn on the fridge as it wouldn’t turn on. Appreciate the amenities. Overall, enjoyed my stay, thanks!

My family had an incredible stay at the MGM Qingdao! The hotel's design is stunning—a perfect blend of modern Las Vegas energy and local sophistication. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows with a breathtaking view of 石老人海水浴场and the Yellow Sea. The service was impeccable from check-in to check-out. The breakfast spread was one of the best I’ve had, featuring a massive spread of both Western and local Shangdong specialties. If you're looking for a high-end experience in the Laoshan district, this is it.

Saya dapati apa yang kelihatan seperti kutu atau pepijat yang membesar merangkak ke atas katil saya. Hotel ini cantik dan saya menempahnya untuk 1 malam sebagai layanan mewah supaya saya dapat berehat dengan baik untuk persinggahan saya ke destinasi lain. Bilik saya berbau seperti asap basi malangnya, walaupun saya telah meminta untuk tidak merokok. Saya membayar tambahan untuk tempahan saya untuk sarapan pagi dan terpaksa bangun pada pukul 6 pagi, makan sarapan pada pukul 6.30 pagi dan pergi ke lapangan terbang pada pukul 7.20 pagi. Bilik saya mempunyai tab mandi jadi saya mandi sebelum waktu tidur dan tidur pada tengah malam, saya bangun untuk mematikan lampu pada pukul 1 pagi dan mendapati pepijat ini merayap di tepi katil saya menuju ke arah saya. Saya fikir ia sama ada kutu atau pepijat katil, badan penuh dengan darah. Ia mempunyai 6 atau 8 kaki, sukar untuk dilihat tetapi saya mengambil video yang tidak membenarkan saya memuat naik. Juga tidak boleh mendengar bunyi bising daripada tetamu lain melalui dinding. Saya sangat letih pada keesokan harinya dan tidak mempunyai selera makan. Saya bertanya sama ada mereka boleh membayar balik tambahan yang saya bayar untuk sarapan pagi kerana saya tidak boleh memakannya, tetapi mereka berkata ia tidak boleh. Jadi saya memaksa diri untuk mencuba makan 1 biji telur dan sedikit bubur nasi tetapi tidak dapat menghabiskannya. Sangat mahal untuk membayar sarapan pagi dan hampir tidak makan, ia memalukan mereka tidak dapat membayar balik sarapan memandangkan saya tidak tidur. Untuk hotel 5*, saya ingin berehat dengan baik dan tidur nyenyak. Tetapi ia tidak seperti itu. Kakitangan sangat baik dan membantu, tetapi tidak begitu mudah untuk pergi ke sini bersendirian. Bukan mudah untuk menempah teksi untuk keesokan paginya ke lapangan terbang dan ia mengambil masa 40 minit bantuan, lelaki itu sangat baik dan suka menolong, tetapi pihak hotel harus membuat sistem yang lebih mudah untuk tetamu asing menempah teksi. Semasa saya mula-mula tiba di lapangan terbang Jinan, saya tidak tahu bagaimana untuk sampai ke hotel. Tiada ATM di dalam hotel jadi anda tidak boleh mengeluarkan wang tunai, dan anda tidak boleh membayar dengan kad asing untuk menempah teksi. Laman web shangri-la tidak memberikan sebarang butiran untuk pengangkutan awam. Ia hanya mengatakan pemindahan bas tersedia tetapi tidak menyatakan nombor bas. Saya akan memberikan butiran di sini tetapi saya terlupa nama laluan dan nombor bas sekarang kerana ia sibuk dan saya sangat letih, maaf. Dari sana hanya 5 minit berjalan kaki ke shangri-la. Untuk hotel besar mereka harus memberikan arahan mudah di laman web kepada tetamu. Kakitangan memohon maaf yang mendalam atas pepijat di atas katil, dan menawarkan pengurangan 10% daripada kadar bilik. Walaupun apabila saya mendaftar keluar tiada bayaran balik diberikan dan mereka tidak menyebut apa-apa mengenainya, saya rasa mereka hanya mengenakan harga penuh. Secara peribadi saya rasa 10% tidak mencukupi. Tiada siapa yang mahu menukar bilik pada pukul 1.30 pagi kerana pepijat merayap di atas katil. Saya langsung tidak tidur dan berasa gatal kerana asyik memikirkan tentang pepijat dan tidak boleh makan sarapan pagi. Saya benar-benar keletihan pada hari berikutnya jadi saya tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa di destinasi seterusnya dan terpaksa membuang 1 hari lagi untuk berehat. Malangnya bukan pengalaman yang mudah di shangri-la.

Room is relatively big. Got the city view twin bed room. The bed is bigger than a single bed, probably twin sized bed. The room is in the old wing but at least it doesnt feel old and surprisingly quite a pleasant stay. Valley wing is the newer side. This hotel seems to be a popular conference hotel. In my 4-5 days staying there, there was always a conference held in the hotel. The hotel has larger taxis which can take 5-6pax. The taxi goes by meter so was reasonable. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to MixC shopping mall. There are many restaurants in the shopping mall where we had dinner. There were also many bakeries and a supermarket in the mall. There is also the usual mc donalds, starbucks and luckin coffee. There was also a new songmont shop that recently opened in the mall. For breakfast, there is a lane behind the hotel where we tried the dumplings and noodles for breakfast/brunch. Good price, around 100yuan for 5 pax. Cheap and good.

Convenient hotel close to airport for late night arrivals or early departures. Would stay there again if in those situations. Room is nice & clean, spacious room with large bathroom. Breakfast to OK, not much selection for foreigners l. Couldn't get on the WiFi & reception did not explain.
