As everyone knows, hotels in Daqingyan never receive bad reviews in winter, and this one is no exception. **Service:** Impeccable. Housekeeping was incredibly responsive to all requests. When I called the front desk to ask about the location and usage of in-room facilities, they were able to provide clear and immediate answers, which many high-end hotels can't do (they usually have to check the room first). This deserves praise; truly a testament to the staff quality of a five-star hotel. **Facilities:** A pleasant surprise. I was generously upgraded to a high-floor sea-view room and was delighted to find a bathtub! As someone who loves a good soak, and given that Trip.com didn't indicate any room type had a bathtub, I had deliberated for a long time between this hotel and an Indigo. I ultimately chose this one for its location, so having a bathtub was absolutely perfect. The hotel also has a pool, which is a bit dated, but the direct sea view from the pool is a huge plus, making up for not being able to swim in the sea in winter. The public areas' hardware is excellent. For example, the lobby and restaurant are on separate floors, preventing the lobby and breakfast experience from feeling crowded, unlike some five-star hotels with mixed-use floors. **Hygiene:** The room was exceptionally clean. There was no dust on windowsills, and the bathtub was cleaned daily. Overall, it was superb. There were a few water marks in the bathroom, which is understandable for a hotel that has been operating for many years, but the cleaning and maintenance are clearly very proactive. I hope the breakfast can be further improved. Currently, there are too few meat options; adding some local seafood specialties would be a great enhancement.

Dongying Wanda Realm hotel is very comfortable and the best I have stayed in Dongying. Spacious, quality rooms, very clean with excellent facilities, particularly the pool and gym, and with very attentive, pleasant and helpful staff, especially Andrew who has provided excellent assistance over my many stays. Highly recommended for short or long stays as the go-to hotel in Dongying.

I had a very satisfying stay at MGM. The butler, Miss Ella, made me feel right at home. She arranged a great room for me and constantly checked in on my experience, asking if I needed any help with anything. She even upgraded my mini-bar snacks and drinks and gave me two adorable little lions, which my wife loved! Next time I'm in Qingdao, I'll definitely stay here again. To the hotel management: please give Miss Ella a raise! Employees like her should be promoted quickly to retain them, as they are key to making Qingdao MGM better and more complete.

When it comes to prime locations, no one beats the Shangri-La. Both the spring and city views are absolutely stunning. The Baotu Spring offers unique beauty in every season, and Quancheng Square is consistently spacious and prominent year-round. The hotel has been open for some years now. The public areas and facilities are still quite good, but the in-room amenities are rather outdated. The room isn't huge, and the bathroom feels a bit cramped. For the same room type, the InterContinental's bathroom design is much more practical. The in-room equipment definitely shows its age, though it's maintained reasonably well, and the cleanliness is excellent. The shower is ancient, lacking a rain shower head, and the handheld shower is difficult to use; no matter how I adjusted it, it sprayed towards the wall, making showering quite a hassle. The drainage isn't very smooth either. Even the clothes hangers are worn out but still in use. The complimentary drinking water is the cheapest kind available, and the dental kit is practically unusable. Shangri-La, can't you procure some better quality items? These aren't even expensive. Otherwise, you'll lose all your guests. I called guest services twice from the room phone, and no one picked up. It's quite surprising to encounter such a flaw in a five-star hotel. However, the overall service at Shangri-La is very good. The staff are warm, attentive, and polite. The Christmas atmosphere on the ground floor, both inside and out, is very festive. The excellent location significantly enhances the value for money at Shangri-La Jinan.

Facilities: Everything you could possibly need. Cleanliness: Spotless. You could tell the bathroom had been thoroughly cleaned. Service: The front desk manager and the check-in staff truly provided five-star service. The greeter girl in the lobby greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. During check-in, they even helped me choose a room that suited my needs. Honestly, with service like that, even if there was something I wasn't happy with, I'd probably end up satisfied anyway – and in this case, there was genuinely nothing to be unhappy about. The swimming pool and gym facilities were comprehensive. The water was crystal clear, and the gym equipment had everything you could possibly need to work out every part of your body.

We stayed here the night before climbing Mount Tai with our child. The environment was pretty good, and parking was convenient and free. It's very close to the food street. After climbing Mount Tai, we walked around Dai Temple and then it was only about ten minutes back to the hotel before we drove off. The room was actually very clean, and we were quite satisfied. We also tried some 'Songjian' (pine tips) at the food street, which was a novel experience.

Excellent stay experience. A hotel brand stands true for its reputation. My request for early check in was considered without any hassle. Was pleasantly surprised especially after a long journey. Could not use other services such as spa, gym etc. breakfast varied and really delicious ! Loved the design of room balcony and the view very much ! In room dining was quick and pleasant.

The room is very spacious and clean. I was a bit worried about the facilities being outdated since it opened in 2018, but they actually seem very well-maintained. Every corner is spotless, and everything looks new and in great condition, with no signs of age. The breakfast is rich and delicious, offering a wide array of Chinese and Western dishes, specialty noodles, desserts, and cold cuts. The service is also excellent; there's always someone at the entrance to help with luggage from the trunk and open car doors. Plus, from the sea-view room, you can sit on the sofa and watch the waves rolling in – it's a fantastic feeling. Going downstairs, you just walk through a small garden and you're right on the beach, which is super convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk to Tianma Pier, perfect for a stroll along the soft sand by the sea. This hotel offers incredible value for money in Yantai!

I would like to give a round of applause to this great hotel located next to airport as it showed good convenience for anyone who wishes to transit or stay for a vacation at Qingdao, China. Also, i would like to give a warm thank you to the receptionist at the time when I arrived at the hotel. Her name is “Even”, and she was ever so polite, kind and always smiling which made feel so welcome. She made my experience at the hotel very satisfying as she was very informative about the facilities and services the hotel had to offer its guests. While visiting Taishan looking for a hotel that had connecting rooms or a family suite the options are limited but we found the Jianguo Hidden hotel family suite was perfect for our needs. The hotel is brand new with works still being done on the 1st floor, and swimming pool but this didn't affect our stay. The hotel is built as pert of a residential complex and the interior layout of the rooms reflects the original intent of an apartment meaning the bathroom and toilet are together and a bit squashy. The are is quite new so there isn't much around, but within a short walk there is a bunch of restaurants and a supermarket. A good base to head to Taishan. If you drive an electric car almost all bays in the carpark were fitted with slow chargers, good for an overnight top up..
