Jiahao (male staff) help us carry the heavy luggage from the didi drop off point to the hotel. He also help us to carry our luggage from the hotel to the main road. The female staff gave us to taste their coffee before we buy. Also help us to take photo. Easy instruction to check in. They also share lots of helpful information.

The location is very strategic, only 10 minutes walking to kunming railway station, and very easy to find food, convinient store, and near to city centre and some tourist attraction. The room clean, huge and complete amenities.

If you are a person hate smoking smell, you better not consider to stay in this hotel as they don’t separate smoking and none smoking room. We are unlucky to be assigned this smelly room. The open area is just in front of each room and it is heaven to smoker because there are smoke pan on top of each dust bin at each corner. The fourth floor is under renovation, at 12:11AM, I was awaken by loud bang noise. At 2:44AM, we were awaken by loud talking noise right outside of our room. Front desk young lady is very patient as she had tried her very best to remove smoking smell in my room but smell stay. She also allow me to use their pc to check in my flight. Overall, don’t recommend to stay.

The owner and staffs are very helpful even before you stay. Gave good advice for the trip. Clean accommodations, good view rooms, looking out to see Yulong Snow Mountain view as shown in the picture. Especially the 5th floor has a beautiful view. In the evening you can go see the sunset. This place gives me a very warm and calm feeling. There’re a hand -drawn butter tea from Tibet prepare for guests, and you don’t miss afternoon tea was really delicious. I highly recommended this place! I love to play with little zhōngqiū as well, she’s very friendly 😁

Pemilik dan kakitangan sangat ramah dan membantu.👍 Terdapat kawasan menyejukkan di atas bumbung dengan pemandangan yang indah Juga dapatkan snek percuma & epal segar dari ladang sendiri😄 Penginapan ini sangat dekat dengan bandar lama. Anda boleh berjalan hanya 200 meter. Pemilik dan kakitangan yang baik hati Sangat membantu Perjalanan adalah mudah kerana terdapat teksi yang boleh anda hubungi dengan aplikasi Didi.

Location is inside the old town, just 2 mins walk from the entrance. Room is clean and comfortable. We were greeted by Xiao Bai whenever we return to the hotel.The host was extremely helpful to our needs and requests. She helped us to book and arrange for a tour to the Snow Mountain, booked Didi to the train station and even gave us some flower cakes when we checked out. Will surely recommend this hotel to my friends.

We stayed for one night at Lijiang Pure Sunshine, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the ancient city and the snow-capped mountains of Lijiang. The owner, Mr. Chan, was incredibly warm and helpful. He shared his WeChat contact, allowing us to reach out to him anytime we needed assistance. We were delighted to receive a room upgrade during our stay. The room was equipped with a good heater and basic toiletries, which made our stay comfortable. The guesthouse is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the Old Town, making it an excellent choice for exploring the area.

I had a 2 nights 1 day stay in the hostel. The boss and the staffs are very friendly and nice. He has shared with us the tips to travel in Lijiang and the popular food nearby the hostel. The 5th floor of the hostel is a cafe and a beautiful garden which is well decorated. You will get to see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain on the 5th floor. The room that we chose is spacious and clean, the price is reasonable as well. We get to see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from our room. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay here and we highly recommend this hostel to those who wish to visit Lijiang.

Me and friends chose this guest house as our last stay in Lijiang. We just came back from our Shangrila and Yading trip. We fell in love with the place. We should’ve stay for more days here. The room is perfect. They have everything you need. The bathtub, washing machine, comfortable bed even give you breakfast and fruits. The owner is really really nice and very down to earth. One of the brother (big brother) also very funny, will always give you his biggest smile. His laugh is indeed contagious. Even though we only stay for one night, the service is really top notch. They will help with your luggage when you are check in and out. I highly recommend this stay for foreigner like us, because the brothers are really nicest people that I know in Lijiang. They are very genuine and kind. They also run a tea shop next door and grow their own tea! How cool is that! Highly recommend this guest house when you’re staying in Lijiang. The place is close to old town gate. Easy to get didi. Just walk within 5 min to the main road (near Intercontinental hotel). Thank you brothers! I will see you again when I come to Lijiang!

We loved this hotel! It was so mystical being in this hotel. The rooms were immaculate and big enough to cater to two big luggage. The shower area came with heater so you don’t feel cold after switching off the water supply! They provide good amenities as well! The toothbrushes and shower gel were of excellent quality. The breakfast prepared is excellent! I am still thinking about the 米线 as it was just so delicious. Our hotel package came with free pick-up or drop off service as well as a free costume experience situated within the hotel. We ended up getting a package so we may go and have some photos taken! The make up artist and photographer were very knowledgeable and friendly. Location-wise, it’s a short distance to the ancient town. The hotel itself is situated at a corner which could make it difficult for Didi drivers to know where to alight. However, it’s actually quite easy to walk in from the main road. That said, we had to leave the hotel before staying the last night as they had a power outage that lasted for the entire day. We had thought it’ll be resolved as we’ll be travelling around Dali Ancient Town, but it still wasn’t when we arrived back late at night. This caused some inconvenience as there was no lights nor heater. The outage was only solved the following day after we left! They could’ve provided us with some back up options to head to another hotel or something as that would be good service recovery.

Great Location: 10-minute walk to the ancient city. Comfortable Room: Bed comes with a heater, and the shower has hot water with high pressure, but no smart toilet bowl. Friendly Staff: The staff were welcoming, and we received a free upgrade to a better room. Simple but Nice Breakfast: The breakfast was basic, but enjoyable. Nice Decor: The hotel has a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere, with tasteful decoration. Nice simple breakfast (see photo) Good value for the price!

Just amazing. This doesn’t need a big review because the experience speaks for itself. I am an English traveller in China and I found this to be one of, if not the, most pleasant stay I have had on my own. The room is huge, more than enough for 2 people. The amenities are clean and changed daily. Tea is provided—great for fans of Yunnan hot drinks. But the really special part is the host: Joy and her family are wonderful people! Helpful. Kind. Attentive. And great fun to speak with and be around. I am very happy I chose to stay here. The Jin Bi Ya Yuan is THE place to stay in Dali. I’ll be coming again.

Amazing stay at this BnB for 2 nights. The host helped to arrange for pick up service before we arrived and also sent us to the railway station when we left. They were also really friendly and hospitable throughout our entire stay. Breakfast was simple and homely but good. Some insects were in our room which came in through open window and the host helped to resolve the issue really quickly! Highly recommend :)

Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

Super friendly staff who recommended nice dinner places. Room is a bit small, but this hotel is located in the ancient city, so it is understandable. There is construction going on at the main street outside the hotel, so you have to pull your luggage across a few alleys. Breakfast not included.

The hotel service is so good, they are very nice and friendly. The location is excellent and very convenient. Car can access and drop us off in the front of the hotel. However, it is unfortunate that the electricity was interrupted on the day we stayed and we did not use hot water. I think it was a unexpected event. But this hotel is affordable for staying.

Our hotel booking included a free pick-up service, which was a fantastic start to our stay. After chatting with the driver, we decided to book him for a two-day tour around Dali, which turned out to be a great decision. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Although there was no lift and our room was on the third floor, the hotel staff were very helpful in transferring our luggage both to and from our room. It seems that many accommodations in Dali don’t have lifts, so this assistance was much appreciated. We were pleasantly surprised with free gifts and desserts provided by the hotel, adding a special touch to our stay. However, the breakfast selections were only so-so and could use some improvement. The hotel’s location is another highlight. It is quite close to the old ancient city, allowing us to walk there early in the morning and take photos with minimal people around. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenient location.

I recently stayed at Brahmansu · Pure Soul | Holiday Villa Guanyun Sea View Light Luxury Inn (Dali Erhai Branch) and had an excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the stunning view from the balcony. Overall, I was impressed by the high level of service and attention to detail.
