Wir wurden mit unserem Hund unglaublich freundlich von einer Mitarbeiterin begrüßt direkt beim Verlassen des Fahrstuhls (man kommt zum Eingang rein und muss in den 2. Stock fahren um zur Rezeption zu gelangen). Das Einchecken ging schnell, wir bekamen eine Schlüsselkarte damit kann man dann weiter als in den 2. Stock fahren... Gut gemacht damit haben keine Fremde im Hotel Zugang. Das Zimmer was wir im 7. Stock hatten war super modern. Tolles Bett, hab sehr gut geschlafen. Fernseher selbsterklärend. Radio Hotelinfos abrufbar. Per QR Code ebenfalls Hotelinfos auf dem Handy abrufbar. Treppe runter ist OK. Hoch bin ich umsonst gelaufen, auch mit der Karte kommt man nicht rein. Gerade morgens zur Frühstückszeit kommen die Aufzüge nämlich an ihre Grenzen. Klimaautomatik geht kalt und warm. Leider nur beim ersten Mal benutzen. Zum Glück hatten wir es schon so eingestellt, dass es für uns von der Wärme und Intensität passte. Danach reagierte das Touchpanel nicht mehr. Licht war davon zum Glück nicht betroffen. Aber ich bin sicher, dass man uns sofort geholfen hätte wenn's nötig gewesen wäre. 24 Std Rezeption, essen und Trinken verfügbar. Fazit: Tolles Hotel, tolles Personal, super Lage - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!! Vielen Dank für alles

I usually book my rooms via **********. In their listings they list not just the price but also the ratings from their readers as well as the TripAdvisor rating. What made me notice this was the Superb rating and the affordable price of $70. When I'm traveling on business solo, I look for as nice a hotel as possible for under US$100/night - and that's not too far from where I am having meetings. The Leonardo fit that bill quite well. Located in Volklingen, a suburban town about 16 kilometers from Saarbrucken (my meeting was in central Saarbrucken), it's a short drive away. The town of Volklingen is an old industrial town with a large steel mill and a UNESCO Heritage Site within the town limits. Otherwise, it's rather sleepy compared to Saarbrucken. When I arrived in town at 9:30pm it was pretty much quiet and asleep. I don't imagine there's much nightlife going on here, if that's what you're looking for. The hotel is on the hillside and is decorated in a modern contemporary fashion. It's nicely done but if you're looking for an old German setting, this is not it. The lobby is spacious and the bar and restaurant are just off the reception desk and by the elevators. It seems like this hotels cater to business clientele because it's the usual scene of business travelers hanging out at the bar having a drink or two.

This place is a hidden jewel. I have stayed in many IHG hotels for years and I am seriously expressing that this hotel is above and beyond with even some Crowne Plazas I have stayed before. Inside this Holiday Inn Express, the environment and staff makes you feel like home. Their friendliness and attention to details surpassed my expectations. This is my second time staying here and I have to say that I am looking forward to stay again. The rooms are decent and comfortable. It’s an express. They make sure these rooms are very clean and the policy they have of clean on demand provides the guests with more privacy. They won’t wake you up to clean the room! Just need to hang a sign if you want the room clean, and not like other hotels that you need to hang it to not be disturbed. Some reviewers gave 4 stars because of exterior and location but people don’t realize this is not their fault because the tram rails are on the front. This place has free parking. So far is the only hotel I have stayed that has that. I strongly recommend this place if you are in the area and have a vehicle like I did.

What a surprise this hotel was! We dropped in for 1 night on the way to Croatia, only to find some of the most comfy rooms, most attentive service and some of the best food we had in a while. Totally unexpected and strongly recommended to anyone traveling by car from UK to Southern Europe by car. It is also close to the main motorway and has a lovely pond and a Franco-German Friendship Park attached to the back. Well worth the detour and kudos to the staff.

Whilst on a trip from the UK to Munich our car developed a fault which meant it had to go to a local garage for repair. A lovely local person who stopped when we broke down recommended this hotel and wow were we impressed. Not only were we able to just turn up and get a room, the staff were so accommodating. We ended up staying for 3 nights. Wonderful friendly staff, lovely clean and modern room and the terrace is a perfect place to sit, drink a cocktail and look out over the city. I would highly recommend this hotel and it will now be our preferred stop when travelling through Germany in future. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay so lovely.

Went for a business trip to Saarlouis and got the recommendation to book La Maison which I also did. Arrived in the evening and checked in and the staff in the reception did a great job, welcoming and so on. The room was really spacious and well shaped, good design and small but nice attributes. The public areas offered plenty of nice lounges where you could sit an relax. I didn't tried the restaurant as it was closed on Mondays (but the hotel offered the possibility to pre-order a cold plate). The breakfast buffet was generous and also offered fresh made scrambled eggs and bacon. The ambient also very nice for a good start of the day. ...and if you arrive with an EV the hotel has some charing poles, good!

Its s very nice located new Hotel in Saarbrücken I had a nice stay there, slept comfortabel the room was very clean and I Liked the bathroom , too The breakfast offered everything and I enjoyed it . They offered a great Variety .

This hotel was quite a pleasant surprise. A number of previous reviews that we read were not very positive and we were a bit cautious in booking but we were glad we did . Reception was very easy and pleasant and the young lady who greeted us was very very pleasant , helpful and just a delight to speak with . Bike storage was in a large locked cage in the parking garage . Lift from parking garage to our really nice , clean and bright room (110) made it easy to move our bike panniers . Bathroom had toiletries , was very clean and quite large . Good room lighting with a large window in the room . On site restaurant had great food choices for dinner at a very reasonable price point . Breakfast was one of the best breakfasts that we have had in a hotel over our many years of bike adventures in Europe . Many food choices - both hot and cold . Will definitely stay here again if our bike trails lead us this way again .
