Stayed 3 nights on a Leger Holidays tour. Room was ok. Had a safe (but it wasn't secured to the wall which makes it a bit pointless really) Mini bar/Fridge and hairdryer. Free air con that packed up on our last morning. Good spread at breakfast and although the restaurant gets crowded there is also an overflow room. The bad points: 1/. The cafe style bar area isn't really big enough for the size of the hotel, although there is a large lounge area adjacent to the Reception desk and entrance I always feel you lose a bit of atmosphere in these such areas. 2/. We couldn't get cold water out of the basin mixer tap or the shower. It was hot water or nothing. 3/. There was an Iron available on request but there appeared to be only one. So if a guest held onto it you had to go without.

All Paradors are very good. We have used many and never been disappointed. Toledo is outside the city, but with spectacular views of the rooftops. Toledo itself is disappointing for a lack of decent restaurants - we should have stayed to have dinner in the Parador! Good quality rooms, but unless you are in a suite, there are no tea/coffee making facilities and you cannot get a hot drink in the morning until the breakfast room opens. This needs to be rectified. Otherwise, the closure of the pool was a disappointment, but the hotel took the trouble of warn us of that before we came.

I wouldn't consider this a 5 star hotel, the views and surroundings are great, but that's about it. The hotel needs a proper renovation, the furniture is outdated and with clear marks of usage, musty and dust covering a lot of areas. The entire place gives a 70s vibe, and not in the good way. The worse bit for me is how poorly sound proofed the rooms are. The corridors' floors are tiled but there's a wide gap between tiles, so when people walk around carrying luggage, it sounds like a freight train just passing outside the room. Not great when that happens early in the morning. The breakfast and restaurant are ok, and most of the staff are nice.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Perfect spot for relaxing. Amazing breakfast each day in the most beautiful setting, very accommodating staff in all areas of the hotel and 2 of the best massages! Very handy to have car parking right outside the hotel and the town was lovely to explore. Definitely get some of the pure lavender from the local shop.

This hotel is in the new part of the town in one of the suburbs. There is plenty of free car parking outside on the road together with a bus stop for the bus into town. I am in a wheelchair and we could get into the shopping area in 15 minutes. The old town is about 10 minutes away by taxi or a good walk up a very steep hill. The hotel public rooms and bedrooms are light and airy. The view out is better than that looking at the hotel! The reception staff are really helpful and the other staff good as well. We stayed at a weekend so the hotel was very empty and the evening meal was served in the bar but was excellent. One of the best meals we had on this visit to Spain. Breakfasts are served in the dining room and the buffet is excellent with a wide range of cold meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries. If you ask the waiter hot food will be cooked off for you which much more appetising than the standard trays of cooked food stewing on the side. I think the hotel is more of a business hotel during the week but it was great for us. The only ****** was that if you are wheelchair user there is only one bed in the large accessible room. This cannot be split into two single beds. My legs kick at night so my wife needs a seperate bed so once again I had to book a seperate room for her. Seems rather unfair. The room was well fitted out with easy wheelchair access and a sliding door into the wet room, which is large. The shower area has very limited grab rails and my wife had to follow mne into the shower to put the stool behind me. There is no fixed seat in the shower which is a shame. In all a very nice hotel with lots of bars and restaurants nearby and even more in the town centre.

Arrived to find the external parking looking full and children running riot around the security guard at the front of the hotel. Check in was efficient and we took the underground parking option charged at €6. Our room was at the end of a long hot non air conditioned corridor. It was large, reasonably well appointed but no tea or coffee making and no USB charging sockets and seemed clean. There was a fridge. We went to the bar which was more like a budget cafeteria with basic plastic furniture than the bar of a 4 star hotel but the bar service was good. We enquired where dinner would be served and were told it would be in the bar! The menu ws a limited choice €18 menu del dia, considerably less value than we paid for an evening meal. It was not 4 star standard, not even close and the advertised inclusive drink was not served. The bed had a thick plastic sheet on top of the mattress that became very uncomfortable through the night. The breakfast buffet was of a very poor quality. Glad we only stayed for 1 night

This hotel is simply magnificent! The entire stay was faultless, from the checkin to check out, the staff couldn’t have made our stay any better. We enjoyed all the facilities of the hotel from the breakfast through to dinner with a trip to the spa in between! My wife is vegan and quite often finds it difficult to be accommodated in northern Spain, but whilst the menu was limited for her, the staff went out of their way to help. Can’t wait to come back!!

On the positive side, the rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms - could do with an update, but bigger than average; Housekeeping was efficient. However, with almost 300 rooms,be aware that this hotel caters for tourist parties/conferences/events with all that that implies i.e. 2 sittings for breakfast. There was a huge choice for the buffet breakfast, but not a place for a romantic breakfast, or indeed dinner, as the noise level in the cafeteria is very loud; I hesitate to call it a restaurent as there is another in the complex which we didn't try. The hotel is also about 2kms from the historical centre of Toledo, which could be one of the reasons for your visit. Apparently it is possible to walk there (uphill after a flat approach, and in the heat?), but it is difficult to navigate and the receptionists weren't able to be much help. As a consequence in order to visit you need to take a taxi (approximately 10 euros each way) which adds to the cost. And if you don't wish to eat at the hotel you also need to book a taxi. In this respect, the receptionists were very helpful. If your reason for visiting Toledo is for a conference, then this could be for you, otherwise as a simple tourist, I would look elsewhere in town.

This was a sensational hotel to stay in. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and welcomed professionally by the staff. After a seamless check in we were escorted to our beautiful room that overlooked the Alcazar. It was well appointed, clean and spacious. The layout was fabulous and there was plenty of room. The bathroom was fabulous too and when taking a shower we could look out at the fabulous,our scenery. This hotel is in a great location, being only steps away from the Cathedral and makes getting around so easy. We only had 2 nights there but would happily have stayed longer if we had the time. This is a first rate property that I highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Eugenia de Montijo hotel in Toledo. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and so well located within the old town, steps away from all that you'd want to see. The historical sites, as well as restaurants, bakeries, and shops, are all within easy walking distance and the medieval streets and neighborhoods are a pleasure to meander through. The hotel staff was exceptionally warm and helpful, the breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the serving staff was great. The hotel is challenging to get to by car, as the streets are narrow, but instructions provided by the hotel, at our request prior to arrival, helped us navigate it quite well. It was well worth the challenge to be in the heart of the city and all that it has to offer. We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay there again if the opportunity arises.

El hotel no está muy bien ubicado, no tiene estacionamiento propio y es muy difícil estacion**** cerca. El hotel esta bonito y tiene todo lo necesario para un estancia agradable pero si es muy complicado estacion**** cerca. The hotel is not very well located, it does not have its own parking lot and it is very difficult to park nearby. The hotel is beautiful and has everything you need for a pleasant stay but it is very difficult to park nearby.
