GGuest UserI’m a rather particular solo traveller with a sensitivity to light, noise, and temperature, so comfort matters enormously to me. My two-night stay at Hope Street Hotel, in room G02, was nothing short of delightful. The real manual key, spacious layout, and wooden floors created a welcoming, homely atmosphere.
The highlight was undoubtedly the free-standing bath with its view over the festively lit Hope Street; it was such a treat to relax and watch the world go by that I happily cancelled my spa booking. I’d initially worried the central location might be noisy, but I slept soundly throughout.

Tips:
• Bringing a few battery-powered tea lights made the bathroom feel cosy, as the lighting is quite minimal.
• The pillows, while luxurious, were on the softer side. If you prefer firmer support, a small memory foam pillow is worth packing.
• It can get a touch chilly at night, so turning the heating up to 26 degrees keeps things comfortable.

GGuest UserThe spa was the best we’ve ever been too , bath was lovely and deep , hotel room was spotless , lovely coffee in room , staff were great , especially the lady on reception didn’t catch her name but you could tell she was happy in her job , it was like checking into Disneyland she was that happy ,

PPoissonoThe restaurant and bar both serve delicious food and drinks. They offer complimentary hot milk before bed every night, which is a lovely touch. The cookies in the mini-bar were also very tasty. I did notice a small stain on the duvet cover, which looked like a foundation mark from a previous guest that hadn't been completely washed out. Otherwise, the hotel's ambiance is excellent, especially the decor in the Heartspace restaurant, which creates a very relaxing atmosphere. The service was exceptionally attentive, making for a great experience overall.

NNicola KatherineFirst of all, they had messed up our booked for 2 king rooms so son gets upgraded - fine.
Then get to my room - very dark so don’t see outside. All night kept awake by loud humming, beeping and whirring. Too tired to go back to reception.
Turns out I was inside from all the ventilation shafts etc. Noisy from people going past at all times of the night.
Worst night sleep ever in a hotel.
Do not accept room 606.

AAsphodel PatronusThe location couldn't be more perfect, the hotel is close to shops and entertainment. The room was spacious, the bed was soft and comfy. The so much needed A/C at the moment was working perfectly and I loved the digital controller. Chocolates, biscuits, and hot chocolate in the room is a nice touch. The spa area could've been a bit cleaner or renovated but it was still enjoyable. The staff were lovely and attentive, especially at breakfast! Everything was very clean and pretty, thank you.

JJam007The spa was nice, but the bed had bed bugs, and I got bitten. The shower didn’t have a handheld option, and the water pressure was poor.
I checked in at 11 AM, which was fine, but when we returned at 9 PM, I mentioned to the reception that we needed the beds split, but that never happened. The manager came over and started complaining. I reminded him that our request had been confirmed in the morning. He was a bit temperamental at first, but it calmed down when I asked for an extra duvet.

GGuest UserBeautiful location, lovely hotel. Staff were helpul and friendly. Nothing was too much of a trouble. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The spa is amazing and the treatments were reasonably priced. Food was very good. Would reccommend and would stay there again!
