Had 3 days wonderful stay. Excellent staff services beyond my expectations of a 4 star hotel. Set back is that toiletries is 3 star, & breakfast , eventhough is delicious & lots of varieties ,is of rather similar foods each morning. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic stay at Swiss Belin . Located right opposite to Tunjungan Plaza , This hotel is located right at the heart of everything . One of the best experiences was when it came to hospitality cleanliness and amenities . Staff 10/10 . Aya and Yuda doing fantastic check in and check out . Highly recommend for those who cannot compromise on hygiene and convenience .

This is my favourite hotel. I stay here 2 to 3 times a year. Every time I stay 3 to 4 days in their legendary suites. It has the old school charm and the suites I particularly like are those facing the swimming pool. I go for a dip 3 to 4 times a day. Just relaxing there is enough. I'm not the average tourist that likes to hop around touristy sites every day. This time I was arranged to stay at the Charlie Chaplin suite which the General Manager promised me last time I visited a few months ago. This time, I also noticed some improvements to little details at the hotel. Near and around the hotel, there r new restaurants cropping up providing more choices of food. Overall, the trip was pleasant as usual š

Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast variety is good. Getting to the room is confusing at the start (lift at hidden area, need to go up, walk across the bridge and take another lift to go up again), LG and level 3 is the same. 2 restaurants on site where the food is quite good. Not walkable to anywhere, quite convenient using grab each time though.

This hotel is quite economic for Harrisā level. There are pool, gym, and kids playground. The room is not that spacious but very comfortable for two persons. I requested for an iron and they delivered it to my room very quickly. They could do better for the restaurant, elevator, and the toilet ā no bidet shower hence a little bit struggling for kids (i had some guest with kids coming over).

Kami datang dengan bayi, 2 bulan 2 tahun, pukul 13.30 tapi rupa-rupanya kami dapat bilik sampai pukul 15.00 dan mereka kata masih ada waiting list, kata Cik Tirta. Keadaannya juga anak saya yang berumur 2 tahun muntah-muntah di ruang menunggu terlalu lama dia tidak masuk ke bilik untuk berehat dan akhirnya seorang lagi pegawai CS segera bersiap untuk membersihkan kesan muntah anak saya. Ya, sebelum saya berkahwin, saya berada di sini jika saya ingin bermalam, tetapi saya benar-benar kecewa. Dan gtw, mereka diberi bilik mandi berdiri dan bukannya tab mandi, jika tab mandi menunggu, kata Cik Tirta. mungkin 1 jam kemudian (saya rasa) duuuh

I had a wonderful stay at Bumi Surabaya Resort Hotel. The place is absolutely beautiful, with a true resort vibe right in the heart of the city. The view is stunning, the Wi-Fi is super fast, and the food is genuinely delicious with a wide variety to choose from. What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality ā every staff member was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Surabaya, whether for business or leisure!
I found nice squirrel to live in the tree nearby

JjetlaggerWestin Surabaya is a beautiful property with gorgeous views and amenities and impeccable service to match. The pool and surrounds are pleasant for swimming.
The Club room is very comfortable, quiet and feels fresh all round. The heavenly bed is such a delight to sleep in. The Club lounge is one of the most outstanding hotel lounges I have frequented. The views from the 39th floor are divine whether day or night. Service levels in the Club lounge are impeccable from each and every staff member.. so welcoming, professional with beautiful hospitality. Food selection, drinks and comfort all round. Nila and all of her lovely colleagues are truly at an inspiring level of excellence.

NNS30Baobab Safari Resort is located quite far from Surabaya city centre, but it is definitely worth the approximately 1-hour drive from Surabaya Airport.
We booked two connecting rooms, both with balconies. We were assigned to Level 4, and the view was absolutely magnificent, overlooking Mount Arjuno and Mount Welirang. Waking up to the mountain scenery was truly refreshing. Cooling weather, fresh air and beautiful scenery.
Food Experience
The highlight of the meals was the Nasi Rawon. The beef was very tenderāsoft and melt-in-the-mouthāand the soup was rich and flavourful. The portion size was generous. Other food items were acceptable but nothing particularly outstanding.
For breakfast, however, the buffet spread was rather limited, especially in terms of meat and protein options.
Room & Amenities
The room itself looked decent but slightly dated. That said, the beautiful view more than compensated for it.
One important note: do stock up on your own bottled water before arriving. The hotel uses refillable glass bottles, and unfortunately, the wooden covers of the glass containers appeared very mouldy, which was quite off-putting.
Activities & Environment
There are plenty of activities available. A walk through the Enchanted Forest thats full of pine trees and feeding area for Capybara, Lama, Sheep is possible, though youāll need to take a buggy from another area. The Safari Zoo is located separately but can be arranged by the hotel.
Animals around the hotel can be fed according to scheduled timings. Waterbucks, however, can be fed with carrots š„, which were provided by the hotel on the day of check-in.
The lobby and dining areas were a standoutābeautifully designed and facing the roaming animals while still maintaining a safe boundary within their designated area.
Animal Welfare
I have always been quite sceptical about zoo animals in Indonesia due to past negative experiences, where animal welfare did not seem well cared for. However, Baobab Safari Resort truly changed my perspective.
The environment is clean, the animals appear well fed, and I frequently saw zookeepers actively present in the animal areas, feeding hay and grass to the zebras, waterbucks, buffaloes, and giraffes. It was reassuring and heartening to see such care and commitment.
This experience made me believe that proper education and responsible management really do help build a better environment for zoo animals.
Overall, it was a meaningful and memorable stay for my family.

PPolka13This is actually a VERY COOL hotel. As someone who LOVE vintage things, I really appriciate this place. From their historical front building, their vintage styled room, all took me back to the 90s to early 2000. The NOSTALGIA š„ŗ. When I was little, my grandpa and grandma used to take me travel and stayed at hotels. So hotels like these have a special place in my heart.
Unfortunately, it looked like they really cut down the budget. Although they gave a very cheap price for their room (not more than IDR 250K including breakfast), on WEEKENDS?? But the towels were not white anymore and felt thin (not like other hotel towels), the sheets had tough spots, and no shower cap. But I loveddd the lemongrass soap and shampoo, and they were in dispensers so less plastic waste.
The breakfast was really sad. It was nice when I stayed here around a couple of years ago. But this time it was worse. Not too many options and looked empty. Really felt like they didn't put much effort. Well, what do you expect for that price? And I understand they might be in a very tight budget.
I noticed they added a āMini Zooā signage. A staff warned me that there were not many animals yet. But I decided to go see it. Turned out it was located in the side of the parking road (but outdoor), there were fishes and a big avian animal (like chicken but different, I don't know what it was). And some parakeets in two separate cages, they were all dead šš I told a staff and they quickly removed the dead birds. Good idea but poor execution.
But anyways, location was top. Just a few meters across the street, there was a bus stop and you can hop on the Suroboyo Bus to go anywhere. And the hotel itself was in a main street of a hot destination (Old Town Surabaya), with historical buildings complex, also with the chinatown nearby.
I really hope they can survive this economy storm. I really love this hotel š„ŗ.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying here. Overall, everything was satisfactory. My only suggestion would be about the children's playground. It would be much better if it were mopped daily, and the slides and playhouses wiped down regularly. My child played there and got completely dirty ā their feet were all black! šš I had to give them a bath immediately upon returning to the room. š Additionally, it would be great if they could add more types of toys, perhaps a ball pit or similar. While there were plenty of chairs and tables for children, there were no drawing papers or colored pencils available. That's just my main feedback. Everything else was perfectly fine. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. Thank you, Golden Tulip! š„³š

GGuest UserThe rooms have all been renovated and everything is perfect. Even the hallways aren't outdated and feel clean. All facilities are well-maintained, including the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Only breakfast requires a bit of a wait because it's high season and many people are on staycation, but overall, it's good.

the hotel is clean, has a free valet service for car parking, small pool in the 6th floor facing the street.

MMrEmzThe location is just off the main street running through Malang, makes the hotel less affected by traffic noise. One of the minor drawbacks of this hotel is the lobby drop off area and minimal availability of parking onsite.
The friendliness and helpful customer service can be felt as you step into the hotel, from the security to the receptionist and workers all radiating warm smiles. Our check in process was smooth, we were assisted to find an available room for early check-in before 1pm . The restaurant staff was also attentive and courteous.
The hotel felt relatively new, only a couple years old and in great shape. The bedroom had semi firm but comfortable mattrass, with abundant pillows. Delightfully we got a 55ā LG Smart Tv, with the to-date streaming services available (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Vidio, Youtube) and also cable tv showing international channels (AXN, Japanese, Arabic, etc). The room felt very cosy for resting after a long day's work or travel. The bathroom, although only had showers and no bathtub, gave great water pressure and hot water. The only complaint from the hotel is perhaps due to the connecting door, we can hear the other room's door closing and opening loudly as well as some talking from the other room.
Hotel had an interesting gym for good workout, rooftop cafe/restaurant. Didnt try any of those facilities for this trip but hopefully for my next trip. This is my second stay at 101 and look forward to returning again. Also, right across the hotel is a Sara Bakery, which serves good cakes and bakery products, and has a full restaurant menu also.

First night due to my flight delay I check in around 10pm and I get a last room ( in front of the room is emergency exit ) very bad feeling when I step in the room, I feel āsomethingā inside . Request to change but reception inform full house. Midnight my room keep got water sound , flush water sound !Ā
Second morning I request to change room , 8pm finish work bck to hotel told me full ? Iām like ***? I requested to change in the early morning. One round of battle , I manage to change room , the boy told he help me take my luggage from old room, after 10 min , luggage that they sent to me is not belong to me!!!! Where is my baggage? After half an hour, my baggage is back to my room and they told me found it at the other room ??!! I got so many question mark in my mind . 11pm , a boy keep knock my dooor and call Ibu ibuā¦ā¦in the morning , housekeeping come in without knocking the door at 928am ! Thanks god Ā that moment Iām done changing !Ā
Third night : this is the worst night for me. Been awake by toilet water sound again ! But this time is different , I feel something not right and Iām so scared. I try to ignore , but I feel āsomeoneā sit on the other side of my bed and I feel my blanket is grasp firmly to the left sideļ¼I slept at right side ) ! The following is 447 am someone knock my door again !Ā
I on my light and dare not to sleep anymore !Ā
Fourth night : no story as I only back to hotel at 2am , I leave at 6am to airportĀ
