Returned again to this wonderful hotel.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Zarah and the team were amazing. All our luggage did not arrive on the plane from Brisbane. and they chased it up. and when it did arrive made a special journey to Port Moresby airport to pick it up. Loves the pool and was greeted with towels to use. Nice meals served in Holiday Express oposite

Arrival was late in evening and airport pick up was very much appreciated . 24 hour room service also convenient and efficient . Had a delightful Caesar Salad and the reasonable price of 50PGK ($14USD). Fresh lettuce and good freshly cooked bacon pieces. Alarm set for 5am by hotel and again transport to the airport. Bath great with plenty hot water and beds very comfortable .Pleasant staff and helpful with quick response to tv query and Porter to room on arrival . Would stay again and definitely recommend for other travelers . Restaurant open till 10pm .
Gateway Hotel

Booked for a two-bedroom apartment for the Christmas Period. Time of check in however there were no available two bedrooms available, but they upgraded us to a three bedroom because we paid in advance. Customer Service was great, room was amazing with a great view of the airport - Definitely made the holiday much more special. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a short stay in POM with family.
Airways Hotel

Our stay experience was the worst this time compared to other times we stayed at Airways over the years. Offloaded and to catch early next day morning flight was a start of a nightmare with receptionist and reservations coming up with an amount to upgrade and then to be put in suite with water plumbing issues making our daughter use the swimming change room to shower. After recommending to the receptionists and duty manager to move us to a functioning suite, we were moved to another suite that also had water plumbing issues, and after a few words with the duty manager, we were moved to a suite that had no problems. Grumpy receptionists with stern tones don't make customers feel happy at all. Concerge was great and location of hotel to airport is great. Service needs to be looked at.

Totally enjoyed our stay. The check in was very quick, staff were polite and the amenities were very good. However, the services was a bit slow, they took so much time to attend to us. Otherwise we did enjoy our stay and would definitely recommend.

Booked this directly through my travel company, CWT. It was probably the cheapest out of lot, a cheap A$400/night. The rooms were ok, ac did not have any flaps or vanes so the air just came out. Bathroom was ok but or had the half glass partition which did not and never keeps the water in. Bed was ok, tv had a few decent channels. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was ok. First morning breakfast, I didnt get the buffet and ordered a la carte with eggs Benedict. I ordered cappuccino but never got thr breakfast. I ended up walking out. The next morning I ordered the same and thr staff were very apologetic and I got everything for free. Dinner was ok, ordered safest as possible. The staff were nice and friendly. It is png so dont expect luxury or your standard holiday inn. It needs a serious upgrade, a bit tired.

Customer service by Waiters and Waitress is amongst the worse in the world. They are unfriendly, ignorant, hard face, and may be stupid. Why stupid? One of them falsely accused me fr not paying my meal bill. She wan not concentrating in her job which resulted in accusing me. The waiters and waitresses are so ignorant. They just walk passed as they want you to call them every time.
Lamana Hotel

I enjoyed my stay. These are some observations during this stay. I stayed at the Lamana in November 2023. 1. Security is good. One feels secure. 2. Restaurant staff are great. Very helpful. Room service is excellent. 3. Sheets at that time will need changing as they were definitely used. 4. Staff go out of their way to be accommodating and I liked that. 5. An elevator would help in terms of movement from floor to floor. 6. Suggest that a separate desk on travel advisory be part of the main reception area. Port Moresby is rich in its own way of places to visit and so is your beautiful country and on simple things like hired guides or taxi fares or other travel related advice. 7. For taxi fares advice,it is advisable to ask the hotel reception staff first for guidance. Overall,I was happy with my stay. I will have no hesitation in recommending the Lamana to anyone.
Citi Boutique Hotel

I was sent here because I was bumped off of a flight, and I have had a very pleasant experience. The food is excellent and plated beautifully, and the accommodations are simple but clean and comfortable. The rooftop patio is a wonderful place to hang out. My only complaint is that the music there is way too loud and not to my taste. All staff are super friendly, introduce themselves, and are happy to go above and beyond to show me around. Thanks for a great stay!
