Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

We stayed in a single studio at Skye Beach for about 2 weeks in July of 2023. The rooms and pricing were accurate, with no surprises or hidden fees. The rooms are in great condition and well cared for. We made use of the cool saltwater private pool nearly every day, with the walls providing the privacy we wanted. We tried every complementary breakfast option during our stay and loved them all. Beach access was easy and gave us a perfect vantage to watch the sunset on the clearer evenings. Parking was plentiful and the Ring Road was easy to get to. 7-11 (with a yellow ATM) is a short, 2-block walk to the west. The hardest part of leaving was knowing that we would not get to interact with the amazing hotel staff anymore. The staff was so friendly and helpful, with amazing suggestions about sights, tours, and food.

Sangat bagus, semuanya. Suasana yang baik, hotel yang bersih, pemandangan yang indah, nilai yang baik untuk wang, tetapi perjalanan ke tempat penginapan agak curam. Selepas memasuki penginapan, sukar untuk datang ke pelbagai pantai di bawah. Dan isu perkhidmatan kurang sedikit Bermaksud bahawa apabila dia tidak sihat, Pada waktu awal hari, saya ingin meminta ubat dari kaunter penerimaan. Tetapi tidak boleh menghubungi langsung Teksi tidak boleh dihubungi. Terpaksa biarkan kawan di bawah Cari teksi untuk diambil untuk membeli ubat sendiri. Susah nak balik. The effect of Covid-19 on tourism in Thailand is still being tragically felt. On Koh Samui there are abandoned resorts and some which have already been bulldozed. Meanwhile, those remaining eke out an existence with vastly reduced patronage. It is with this in mind that I review Pawanthorn Villas, where we recently stayed. Ours was the largest 4 bedroom villa and, although a little tired, it served our purpose admirably. The 4 x bedrooms all had separate external entry which enabled plenty of privacy amongst our group of 8 adults. Each bedroom was well appointed and with a generous en-suite. The beds were large and comfortable and the towels were changed daily. Some of the electrical work would not pass inspection in Australia, but it was out of the way and posed no threat. The large dining/lounge became our main communal area and the 2 x air conditioners kept the Thai heat and humidity under control. The fabulous pool became our other communal area and was appreciated by all. We booked through Air B&B, so daily breakfast was provided at the adjoining restaurant Chez Kun Ying and the menu was extensive. They even opened early on a couple of occasions because we had an early tour booked. We also had dinner there and were pleasantly surprised. Chaweng Beach, with its abundance of restaurants, bars and night-life, is 2.7 kilometres away, too far to walk with no footpath but easily accessible via taxi or hailing a tuk tuk which are constantly cruising past. We hired a minivan and appreciated the convenience that it provided but, when needed, tuk tuk's were excellent for our party of 8 and the 200 Baht fare (just under Aussie$9) was reasonable. There are a number of different sized pool villa's ranging from our 8 person to 2 person. We found the staff to be delightfully helpful, friendly and eager to please. Pawanthorn is not perfect but the shortcomings are few and easily overcome. As patronage increases, we hope that a freshen-up would correct any issues and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. The location, facilities, and services were all top-notch. We were already amazed when we were introduced to the ”Chapter” or the Villa area of the hotel. Words could not describe our excitement when we entered the Secret Pool Villa. It was definitely a mesmerizing experience. I always liked to try new hotels but this may be the first hotel that I would return again in the future. PS: Thank you to the front desk staffs on 11/02/24 who helped to prepare a birthday surprise for my wife. She loved the roses very much.

Pao Jin Poon has a very good location and it’s main attraction is it’s pool villa room. We had the entire resort to ourselves when we went just before the Chinese New Year’s rush, and that was great! If you choose to stay there go for one of those rooms! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. However, be aware that the villa, while a nice size, is a bit “rustic.” It doesn’t seem like many guests stay there, which I actually prefer, but that means some of the amenities like toiletries and other items aren’t very new and the toilet needed water to help it flush completely. Other than that it was a really nice stay! The resort was a 2-minute walk from one of the best Thai restaurants my partner and I have ever been to!

Simply outstanding little resort with lovely and very caring staff, to the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in Asia full stop. Should you choose to include breakfast you won’t be disappointed. Yummy. Also included for peace of mind a nightly security guard. Ms Or and Ms *** you are fabulous along with the entire team. Already booked for next year.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Koh Tao, look no further than Monkey Flower Villas. My family and I had an incredible experience there. From the attentive and friendly service of Muhammed and Steve to the clean and well-maintained rooms, we were thoroughly impressed. The property is kept in great shape, thanks to the hard work of the staff, including two lovely ladies. And having Steve as our driver was a huge plus - taxis in Koh Tao can be expensive, but with Steve, we always had a reliable ride. Despite the language barrier, my dad enjoyed chatting with Steve, who even helped us manage our boat back to Surah Thani and gave us great advice on local restaurants. We can't wait to return and stay in one of the bigger villas with bigger pools and breathtaking views. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with your stay at Monkey Flower Villas.

Рядом с отелем есть магазинчики с алкоголем :) Подъем к апартаментам действительно очень крутой, но это только так кажется. На байке нормально заезжать :) Отель однозначно рекомендую к проживанию !!!
