This stay at Shangri-La Jinan in an Executive themed room exceeded my expectations! Before checking in, Guest Relations Zhu Mindy proactively reached out and meticulously explained the Executive Club benefits. She clearly outlined the happy hour at the Executive Lounge, the two breakfast venues along with their pros and cons, and their operating hours. Upon arrival, Mindy greeted us and handled the check-in process, making the entire experience effortless. She was professional and attentive. This hotel is perfect for both business and leisure travelers.

My partner and I escaped to the seaside in Yantai for the weekend and stayed at the Hilton Yantai Golden Coast. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our experience. The hotel is located right by the sea, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped, offering plenty of picturesque spots for photos – you can snap great pictures just by strolling around. Our room had excellent natural light, was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. The mattress provided just the right amount of comfort, allowing us to rest well after a day of exploring. Anina, a staff member, was very friendly; she always greeted us with a smile when we passed by and patiently answered all our questions without making us feel awkward. The breakfast offered fresh ingredients and a wide variety of choices. We loved sitting by the window, enjoying our meal while gazing at the distant sea view. The hotel's gym and pool were also very clean. Just a short walk from the hotel, there's a beach. In the evening, my loved one and I took a walk along the coastline, feeling the sea breeze – it was incredibly atmospheric. The hotel has a generally peaceful and romantic vibe, without any sense of hustle and bustle, making it convenient whether you want to relax and watch the sea or head out for activities. It's perfect for couples looking for a holiday, creating easy and sweet travel memories. We'd love to come back again the next time we want to see the sea.

The hotel boasts a grand architectural design and numerous rooms, reflecting the style of an established star-rated hotel. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable musty smell. However, the mattress was very thick and incredibly comfortable to sleep on. We ran out of tissues in the room, but the housekeeper promptly brought some when we requested them. There were no disposable bath liners for the bathtub, and they weren't available for purchase, which is an area where service could definitely be improved. Given its large scale, the hotel could consider offering childcare services similar to Club Med. A kids' play area with soft play structures, slides, and a ball pit would be a great addition, allowing parents to relax. There was no buffet available. With such a large property, inter-departmental communication seems to be an issue. The information provided by the housekeeper for the 1928 Beer Bar's dining options was incorrect. After checking out, the housekeeper asked for a good review. I provided some suggestions, but the housekeeper, 'Dabaitu' (Big White Rabbit), never replied. It feels like the service in northern China is often a 'do-it-because-my-boss-told-me-to' mentality, and any extra requests from guests are seen as an inconvenience. I really liked the breakfast buffet where many of the attendants were older, creating a very harmonious atmosphere, like being cared for by parents while away from home. The breakfast selection was extensive. There are two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Cat petting costs 19.9 for children and 29.9 for adults, with single entry and unlimited time. Feeding animals costs 10 yuan, which includes one portion of feed. **However, if you write a good review for 1 yuan, you get fewer carrots than the 10 yuan portion. The animals seemed a bit pathetic, with the little horse constantly kicking the wire fence.** There are two swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor. The buffet at the 1928 Beer Bar is more Western-style. Many people might not be used to it. We tried it, and the quality of the desserts was excellent! There's a beach right behind the hotel, with some rocks, but not too many. You can go tide pooling in the early morning and at night. It's too hot during the day due to strong sun, and there isn't much seafood to find then either. The package included access to the Haiquanwan Hot Springs, but I must mention: it was dirty. There were no tissues or disposable combs in the hair-drying area (only a few scattered combs for everyone to share). With this level of service, I won't be returning. The hotel's location is indeed a bit remote, making it suitable for self-driving. There's a Shandong University cafeteria and museum nearby, which I'd give five stars!

My stay at the Westin Qingdao this time brought an unexpected experience, thanks to the excellent coordination between the Front Office and Housekeeping departments. Upon arrival for check-in, the Front Office team not only handled the basic reception but also paid close attention to the details of my travel plans. They considered the actual habits of different guests, communicating concisely and practically, avoiding overly formal pleasantries. When I provided feedback to the Front Office regarding my stay, the information was efficiently synchronized with the Housekeeping department. The seamless communication between departments meant I didn't have to repeat myself, and the closed-loop handling of issues was truly reassuring. Housekeeping's service was subtle yet profound. Daily room tidying was meticulous and thorough, with items neatly arranged, and the bathroom and bedding maintained to be clean and comfortable. Any requests for additional supplies or simple adjustments to the room's setup were responded to promptly and executed efficiently, without any delays. Even without direct interaction, I could genuinely feel the staff's dedication. One department handles external reception and coordination, while the other maintains the quality of the living space within the room. These two departments complement each other perfectly. They don't intentionally create a sense of ceremony but rather focus their efforts on tangible details, making the entire experience, from arrival to departure, smooth and comfortable. It was precisely the diligent and dedicated work of both teams that made my entire stay incredibly pleasant, and I highly commend the service levels of both departments.

This was my wife's and my first time staying at an Orange Crystal hotel, and this one truly left a great impression on us. First, the service was genuinely warm, enthusiastic, and patient. They also gave us many excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing. Second, the room was beautiful, high-end, and clean. The shower was large with great water pressure, and the view from the sea-view room was absolutely unbeatable – we could even catch the sunrise from a certain angle. Finally, the breakfast had a great variety and was delicious, especially the noodles, which truly had a local flavor. All in all, this hotel offered an exceptional experience. A 5-star review is definitely well-deserved!

Hidden gem hostel on the 19th floor, the night view of Chaoran Building is absolutely stunning! I blindly picked this hostel for my trip to Jinan, and it turned out to be the highlight of my itinerary! It's located on the 19th floor of Baihe Building on Beiyuan Street. As soon as you step out of the elevator, there's a huge viewing terrace. At night, sitting in the rocking chair, watching the Chaoran Building light up, with the night view of Daming Lake spread out before you – it's even more beautiful than all the pictures I saw online. Every photo I took was a masterpiece. I booked a 10-person view room and was initially worried it would be cramped, but the room was incredibly spacious. The bedding was clean and soft, and each bunk had an individual curtain and charging port. Drawing the curtain created my own little private space. The biggest surprise was that the hostel even has a free gym! After hiking around Daming Lake, I could come back and work out to relax. There's also a tea bar, a home theater, and a chess and card room. In the evenings, I played mahjong and chatted about travel stories with roommates in the common area. The atmosphere was fantastic, nothing like the cold, traditional hostels. The hygiene was also impeccable. You have to change into slippers when you enter, and the auntie cleans daily. The bathroom is wet/dry separated, with both squat toilets and regular toilets available. There's even a speaker in the shower, so you can listen to music while bathing – attention to detail was top-notch. The owner also provided detailed Jinan travel tips, recommending barbecue spots frequented by locals, so I didn't need to do any planning myself. The transportation is super convenient too. Just 20 meters downstairs is a bus stop, and BRT Line 2 goes directly to Daming Lake and Baotu Spring. Daming Lake Railway Station is just one street behind. It's also easy to get a taxi to Mount Tai. For only around 50 yuan per person, staying at a hostel with a viewing terrace is truly a steal. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Jinan!

Traveling to Qingdao, I compared several hotels before finally choosing this one, and I was pleasantly surprised after checking in. I highly recommend it! The hotel is located near May Fourth Square, offering an excellent location and extremely convenient transportation. You can walk to the beach, visit landmark buildings right outside, and easily reach various popular attractions. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making shopping and dining very convenient. For tourists visiting, this location is truly irreplaceable. The check-in experience was particularly pleasant. The front desk service was professional and warm-hearted. I received a pre-arrival call in advance, where they thoughtfully informed me about the recent weather changes in Qingdao and even reminded me about peak breakfast times, suggesting staggered dining. Since we were traveling with a child, the staff proactively prepared children's toothbrushes and slippers, a small detail that truly touched us. When we had questions, the front desk staff patiently answered them, responding promptly to our needs. Communication was easy and comfortable, without any stiff procedural feeling. We could genuinely feel their sincere commitment to service. The overall condition of the room exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Whether it was the floor, the desk, or the corners of the bathroom, everything was meticulously cleaned. The linens were dry and soft, without any strange odors. The room had excellent natural light and an open view, allowing us to enjoy city and sea views through the window. The room facilities were well-maintained; the air conditioning provided stable cooling and heating, the water flow was quick, and there was plenty of hot water. The bedding was soft, and the pillows were just right in terms of firmness. After a day of exploring, we could rest well in the room at night and enjoy a good night's sleep. The room was fully equipped with all the basic amenities, making our stay very comfortable.

Coming to Qingdao for National Day, we stayed at the Haitian Hotel for four days and three nights. We booked a twin room with a partial sea view. I didn't have specific floor requests, and even on the 9th floor, we still had a sea view. The room was well-equipped, and supplies were replenished very quickly. It was very quiet during rest periods, which gets full marks. The breakfast was also very abundant. In terms of transportation, we took taxis everywhere, as it's a bit far from the subway station. Crucially, Xiao Shang was also very responsible, checking in daily to see if we needed anything. Our child was over 120cm, so breakfast was originally going to be charged, but Xiao Shang promptly helped me resolve this issue. Overall, we are very satisfied with the Haitian Hotel.

The hotel is extremely luxurious and designed beautifully. But the service is TERRİBLE. No one speaks english… there is no food available for room service. İ wanted to drink a beer and they told me to go to the supermarket. İ wanted to order room service after 20.30 they told me no english and hung up on my face. After 10 mins 2 people came to my room telling me they dont have room service, after 20.30 even though the menu said 24 hours. The next day i tried to order at 16.00 and they told me it starts at 18.30… the design and the quality of the hotel is maybe the best ive seen in my life but the service is 0/10 … no cola to drink no food to eat .. i would not reccomend if you want to spend a lot of time in it.
