I like this hotel. I've stayed here for 2 times. They provide a free transfer from and to Railway station and a city centre. Very good onsen with a scenic view on Sakurajima. You can also rent a bike here in the hotel for a reasonable price. Convenience store is right by the hotel.

Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan. Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise! We ended up in a magnificent corner room with a view of Sakurajima - possibly the best room in the hotel - but only after a struggle. On arrival, we were told that our Standard King room was double-booked and we would have to move after one night to a smaller room. The hotel blamed the mix-up on Trip.com. Since we had booked almost two months prior and had arrived first, this didn't wash. We pressed our claim and the result was good. A lovely, modern room with exceptional facilities - including a private sauna - and magnificent view. But it speaks poorly of the hotel's customer service that it took some determined push-back to achieve this result. The hotel's initial attitude was that the we should lose out over a mix-up that had nothing to do with us. A first-rate place, if you can trust the booking.

The hotel is not big but very beautiful, the service is good, the food is very delicious, and the hot spring mineral content is high. Thank you to the restaurant staff for their patient and friendly Chinese, English and Japanese services, and thank you to the front desk lady for helping us contact the bus down the mountain on a snowy day. I want to come to this hotel again. Highly recommended.

The hotel is quite old but so is the other hotels in the area, free alcohol bar at check in time was great it was overall nice.

Located on the edge of Kagoshima's Tenmonkan area, the hotel is about 5 minutes from the airport limousine bus stop and within a 2-minute walk of several convenience stores, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat or drink. There is a free coffee server in the lobby. The large public bath was also comfortable and not overly crowded. There are no lockers in the changing room, so you will need to store your valuables in the locker in front of the public bath. For breakfast, head to the restaurant on the 13th floor, where you can see Sakurajima on a clear day. Enjoy unique dishes like eggs Benedict, freshly baked pancakes, and chicken rice-style pho. I would definitely like to return.

You need to take a taxi to go out. The scenery is very good, but the location is so you have to take a taxi if you don't drive. The best room has an amazing view, but the weather must be good. The hotel has its own sand bath and two large baths. Dinner is included, one Japanese and one Italian restaurant next door, both of which are very delicious 😋 Highly recommended. The sand bath is charged separately, and taking photos is charged separately, but it is highly recommended as a souvenir. There is also a late-night ramen restaurant in the hotel, which is a famous brand, but it's a pity I couldn't eat it all. There is also karaoke and a special stone bed steam sauna that can be reserved. I recommend the experience. It is very suitable for a three-day, two-night stay with two meals at the hotel.

The hotel's breakfast was excellent, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing. The room was spacious, the lobby was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. Taking a walk along the river next to the hotel was very pleasant, and the view of the volcano from the riverside was spectacular.

Its location within a quiet community ensures a peaceful and relaxing stay. Staff: A significant advantage for international travelers is the availability of English-speaking staff. Their willingness to communicate through messaging apps makes pre-arrival arrangements and on-site communication smooth and efficient. Transportation: Direct airport bus service to a nearby bus stop offers convenient access to the hotel. However, it's important to check the bus schedule in advance, as departures are infrequent. Planning accordingly will ensure a hassle-free transfer. Location: The hotel's location provides the convenience of being close to a convenience store, just a short five-minute walk away. This makes it easy to pick up any necessities or snacks. Pricing: The pricing is reasonable, especially when considering the exceptional amenities included. The private rotenburo is a luxurious highlight, and the inclusion of both a fabulous breakfast and an elaborate, multi-course dinner (12+ courses) represents excellent value.

The views of the bay and the volcano are absolutely stunning, 'picturesque' doesn't even begin to cover it! My room type was a garden view twin, so I couldn't see the volcano or the sea. It was all about value for money, at around 600-700 RMB per night. The room was spacious enough (by Japanese standards), and the luggage rack could fit two medium-sized suitcases. The bathroom was also quite large. If you want to see the volcano, you can head to the courtyard or walk five minutes to the Shiroyama Observatory. You can soak in the large hot spring bath while looking at the volcano, but we only took a quick look around the baths and didn't really try them out, so I can't comment much. The hotel shuttle bus runs every half hour, which is pretty convenient. The city view bus stop is near the Shiroyama Observatory. Just ask the receptionist at the hotel lobby on the 4th floor how to get to the observatory; we turned left then right and it was a five-minute walk. By the way, the city view bus route is a bit winding and there aren't many buses. It's better to take the JR to Sengan-en. The JR has a stop right at the entrance of Sengan-en, and the platform itself is the best spot to view Sakurajima.
