初めてのハウステンボス旅行にこちらのホテルを利用させていただきました。 選んだポイントはホテル内に温泉大浴場があったことです。夜観光で疲れて帰った後に、ホテル内で温泉に入れるのはとても助かりました。お湯加減もちょうどよく、疲れが癒やされました。 客室は当日グレードアップしていただけてバルコニーからハウステンボスが一望でき最高でした。 ホテル内はどこも清潔で快適でした。 朝食もメニュー豊富で美味しくて、お腹いっぱい食べてしまい、お昼ご飯が食べられなくなる程でした。 スタッフの皆さんの気配りも細やかで、本当に気持ちよく2日間を過ごせました。 また次に訪れる時も是非利用させていただきたいと思っています。 お世話になりました。

Very good location 10 mins walk from Jr. Staff are friendly and helpful. The day I go there are raining day. Have free umbrella to borrow. Breakfast are tasty. Large room.

This hotel is located opposite AMU Plaza Nagasaki and a walking distance from/to Nagasaki station. Due to the peak season, there was not many options to find a good hotel. Frankly speaking, this hotel was a bit old and outdated, but since we only stayed for two nights, we could ignore this matter. Another issue was that the laundry room was packed with people using the machines. They still provided amenities and bottled water in the room. The bed was quite big but not comfy at all. The toilet was pretty tight for a tall person. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There is a Family Mart and a Yoshinoya store in the neighbourhood.

The winner for this hotel is it's location. Yes it's a couple of stops away from the train/bus station so not necessarily ideal for that but it is super close to a lot of the sightseeing, like Dejima, Chinatown and the harbour area. There is also a tram stop right outside so you can get anywhere really easily. The room itself was pretty small but it has everything you need and they even were able to fit in a desk with a TV for example. Check in was super easy using the self check in machine and staff is there to help you along the way if you're struggling or have any questions. We thought it was a bit expensive for what you get since everything is a little bit dated and the room is on the small side.

The room was small but would work for a short-term trip. I was there for a month so it was a bit tight. Pillows were filled with plastic capsules and not all that comfortable, so I recommend bringing your own. The fridge was so so tiny. The bathroom was also small but the service was super excellent. Unless you pay for the extra service there is no breakfast included, I don't believe you can even pay there for a meal if you don't have the coupons. The beds were alright, and nothing really notable. I liked that there was laundry available, not expensive for a load. No microwaves in the room but there is a microwave in the laundry that works just fine. Very close to the train station and any food you may need to get. It is about a 30min walk to the front of the Main Base—taxi stalls right across the street from the hotel. The hotel desk did call us at like 20:00 to come to pay a bill since we were staying for so long but I wish they would have called earlier in the day to sort it out since we were already in bed for the night.

Location is excellent, just opposite side of train station, about 15 minutes walk from the Hius Ten Boush Machi (Adventure Park). The room is not small, the breakfast buffet is good enough to give you enough energy to explore the adventure park. The lunch & dinner in hotel restaurant are also good and inexpensive. Service is great. The natural hot spring is great ！

Service and attention to detail can make a difference. A truly professional hotel in every sense of the word in an excellent central Nagasaki position. Need mall food, and you are spoilt for choice. Local top Japanese restaurants were fully booked so the mall choices helped.

Lawson and Family Mart are just next door. Room was clean and spacious, and service was good too. As of end-May 2024, the facade of the building seemed to be undergoing some renovation but it didn't affect our stay (cleanliness and noise-wise) at all.

It's like looking at Tadao Ando's architecture. Amazing location. Central to attractions. Convenient transportation. Sky view from the 11th floor bathhouse. Unlimited coffee. The architect who designed this building paid attention to every detail. He took into consideration the flow of wind and the direction of light.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Nagasaki and we decided to stay at Nagasaki Marriott as hotel was newly opened 3 months ago. The hotel located at a good location, next to bus terminal, train station and easy access to tram so we can just go around the city for sightseeing and cultural experience, but the best part was that hotel is next to a shopping mall where you can find many good restaurants and shops including famous local Nagasaki Castela. Our experience staying at Nagasaki Marriott was beyond our expectations. We were so impressed with how well hotel staff were trained at all areas since hotel just opened not long time ago. We really felt like we stepped into Japanese hospitality for both services and mindset of staff who always pay attention to guests from the entrance of the hotel at ground floor before going up to the lobby check-in with warm welcome and big smiles. Each area we experienced was a wonderful one, breakfast area was well set with variety of foods from local products. We very much appreciated staff working hard in kitchen and also M Lounge was our favorite place to relax and enjoy some dinner served and conversations with the staff. We fell into love with this hotel, not only because the modern designed room but also offered the solutions on how guest could enjoy the room during their stay. But most importantly our experience with staff made our stay such a wonderful and special one. Special thanks to: Mr. Yoshimitsu, Executive Assistant Manager, Mr. Antonio, Guest Experience Manager who made sure guests are well taken care. And thank you for training your staff well. 2nd visit, anxious to use my “secret trip” Kyushu promotion campaign discount. All as nice as I remember spacious room, bad tv options, activities, Two food options and spa/onsen choices. New was the many foreign staff working on all sectors of the facility Surprisingly non of them spoke English, to me anyway. No greetings, no explanations, no thank you, no nothing I was a ghost as my Japanese travel partner is all they saw and spoke only to her and addressed only her nobody and I mean nobody initiated any attempts to make me feel welcome in English. Very disappointed that this facility has forgotten how to make foreign guests feel welcome (after two years of COVID) japan May have reverted to “gaijin complex” hospitality and has apparently imposed a Japanese only language rule on its foreign staff. How sad in deed.

Good hotel overall for a pleasant stay. Near all the food options! Good to stay and visit the attractions in Nagasaki. Will reccomend Gunkanjima (see photo)

The information about the hotel Breakfast was contradictory at times, suspect due to the poor translation from Japanese to English.

The hotel is located near the bus terminal and also the train station. The room is clean, and there are food options around the hotel. We were perplexed why the room was not cleaned though, as only the bin was cleared. We were also given 1 room card, as 2 cards were not allowed (?). Despite these, we will stay here again due to the location

In my opinion, the only benefit for staying at this hotel is its location. The hotel is located directly inside the theme park, which means you are able to roam around the park after it's closed or before it's open, a rare experience you can hardly get in any theme park. It also means you can go back to your room anytime during the day, without even need to exit the park. This is not a small benefit, and that's why I still give it 3 stars. The room, however, was disappointing for a moderately expensive hotel. It was really old, probably never renovated since the theme park opened. I stayed in one of their superior rooms. The decor was plain, and while the room was large, about 1/3 of the space was completely empty and basically unused. The TV was tiny considering the room size, and I wasn't even sure if it's HD. The lobby and the public space didn't look bad, but there wasn't anything cool or fancy. My room faced away from the park, so couldn't tell much about the view. It was quiet though. One thing I was unprepared for was that the hotel didn't have a store. And since all the stores in the park close by 8PM or so, I wasn't able to buy snakes or drinks at night. (There was a minibar in the room, but it was overpriced and was mostly alcohol). If I chose to stay in a hotel outside of the main entrance, I would have access to the convenience stores. The breakfast was overpriced. While the food wasn't bad, it was an average hotel breakfast and doesn't worth 3600 yen. However since you can't get breakfast in the park anywhere else, the other option is to hold until lunch. If I make the choice again, I would probably stay at one of their partner hotels outside of the main gate. Not only are they cheaper, but are also more convenient. TIPS: 1. Since the hotel is located inside the theme park, you can't drive to the hotel or get dropped at the hotel entrance. You have to walk through the park entrance, and reach the hotel either by foot or by taking the park shuttle. If you have luggage, you can have them delivered to the hotel for free at the luggage service kiosk outside of the main gate (it takes 2-3 hours). You can also have your luggage delivered to the entrance at check out, but need to pick them up before 6PM. If you are driving, you won't have easy access to your car during the stay. 2. Unless you arrive after the park is closed, you need a valid park admission ticket on your check in day to access the hotel. You don't need admission tickets for subsequent days (until check out). They are included in your room rate and will be given to you at check in time. You will also get a ticket to the hot spring (only 1 ticket per stay). You have to get there by taking the shuttle bus, and the place is pretty crowded. I think it can be passed.

We enjoyed to stay. Hotel staff members are very friendly and kind. Breakfast buffet at hotel are good as well. I just didn’t know about free shuttle from station to hotel at the beginning. If I know early, I did not walk extras and save energy. Otherwise we are very happy to stay there.

생각보다 괜찮았어요 방안에 캐리어 받침대랑 공기청정기, 전기포트 있어서 잘 썼어요. 방이 작아서 샤워부스만 있을 줄 알았는데 욕조라서 좋았어요. 컵도 비닐포장으로 셋팅되어 있어서 먼지 걱정 안해도 되겠더라구요. 급하게 예약한건데 만족도 괜찮네요

長崎県のクーポンを利用しての宿泊だったので5,000円割引状態でした。部屋は新館できれいでした。1Fにランドリーがありました。浴室はシャワーのみですが、大浴場利用なので使いませんでした。部屋はビジネスホテルなどよりかなり広めです。トイレも広く中にはいると自動でふたが開くタイプでした。食事は時間を指定してのビュッフェでテーブル以外はマスク着用で、使い捨ての手袋が用意されていました。夕食のステーキはやや期待はずれでしたが、カニは美味しかったです。 駐車場は前の屋外のものです。Wifiは無料で利用でき、家族連れが多く使用している人が少ないのか、違和感のない速度でした。

ほとんどハウステンボスで遊んでいて、荷物置きと寝るためだけにホテルに帰っていたので部屋の狭さもあまり気になりませんでした。掃除が甘い部分はありましたが、寝具はきれいだったしお風呂は温泉に行ったので使うことはなく、とにかく寝るためだけならコスパ良しです。 過剰なサービスがなく、自分のペースで宿泊できました。 部屋は道路側だったので何にも見えませんでしたが高台にあるので外に出れば夜景は見えます。 ロビーは簡易コンビニがあり運が良ければおにぎりが買えます笑。すぐ売り切れてました。 お酒、17アイス、コーヒーなど嗜好品も最低限あります。 コインランドリーが2台しかないので、運が良ければ使える感じでした。 灼熱の太陽に撃たれながらホテルへの坂道を登るのはきつかったですがまたリピートしようかな、と思います。

Kai Ureshino is located right in front of the Nagasaki bus station. The hotel building itself is not particularly attractive. In fact one can easily missed the hotel. It is a modern design hotel, with the lobby lounge with floor to ceiling windows facing the hot spring. The staff nicely introduced the hotel info in our room. All the hotel rooms are facing the hot spring. It is a nicely proportioned room arrangement. This is the second time we stay at a Kai onsen hotel. The shower room is very nice, with a separate toilet. The dinner and breakfast is served in the same restaurant. All dining rooms are partitioned to preserve privacy, though you still can hear people talking loudly. The food was sumptuous and fresh. The hotel offers some activities inside the hotel for guests. We picked a lesson and trial of letterpress printing, it was fun and got an experience of traditional printing on a postcard. The onsen is a minute walk from the lobby and has no roof. We need to bring an umbrella to walk because it was raining. If a roof is built it would made the walk easier. The good thing about Kai is that the check out time is 12:00 noon so that you have more time to enjoy the hotel.

This is a wonderful ryokan managed by friendly and hospitable staff. The bosses also serve alongside with staff. The ryokan is well-kept & the decoration is chic. The rooms are big enough to sleep 2 adults & 2 children. There is parking directly in front of the hotel which cost will cost you ¥250 but the hotel will reimburse you. The food quality is high and the private onsen is spectacular! The surrounding is nice & quiet. There is a Lawson just less than a minute away if you need to buy something.

　雲仙地獄から徒歩１０分弱。おしどりの池（人工池）のそばに佇む雰囲気のあるホテル。車で入るとすぐにお出迎え。ロビーでお茶をいただきながら座ってのチェックイン。なかなか期待が高まります。ロビーは広くはないが良い雰囲気を作っています。今回はスタンダードな和室のお部屋です。まず良いところを書いていきます。 　部屋はガラスの引き戸のみ。ん？と思ったけどそれだけです。上がっての引き戸を閉めないとないと中の動きを読めちゃうかもです。テーブルと４つの椅子、鏡台のメイクスペース、冷蔵庫のある縁側とメインの和室、３畳の和室からなります。窓からは池が見えます。その手前に出ることはできませんが小石を散らしたスペースがあります。ほか部屋に特徴的なものはありません。空気清浄機も設置してありましたよ。あと、洗面台も２つあるのはグッドポイント。 　お風呂は別棟になります。２階が男湯、４階が女湯になっています。露天風呂と、内湯、サウナからなります。（こちらは中庭があって、出ることができます。でも中庭から男湯の露天風呂は丸見えですので立ち上がらないようが良いかも。）お湯は雲仙といえば硫黄泉！と思っていましたがこちらは単純酸性温泉（含硫化水素）となっており、イメージのお湯とは違います。雲仙でなかったら申し分ないのですが雲仙（＝硫黄）だけにちょっと残念。。脱衣場は広く、間隔もしっかり確保されていました。洗い場は１２箇所ほどだったかな？３階はマッサージルームになっていました。 　売店はどこにでも売っているものばかりで買うものはありませんでした。飲料系は自販機で購入となります。雲仙自体コンビニ、商店がないのでせめてお酒、ビール、飲料系、ちょっとしたつまみなんかがあればよかった。 　食事は『on the lake』でいただきます。この日は夕暮れから食事を開始。そのうち空がピンクにそまり、だんだん暗くなるとライトアップされた日本庭園が浮き上がる。とても素敵な時間でした。食事内容もとても工夫されており、手の込んでいることがわかります。締めはお寿司をいただきますが各テーブルを回ってきてその場で握ってくださいます。足りない時は追加での注文も可能です。朝は澄んだ空気に、水面を照らす朝日がとても素敵でした。朝食は土鍋炊きのご飯に、*焼きが別で提供されますが他は一段重にて提供されました。ご飯のお供系に野菜のテリーヌ、肉じゃが、西京焼きなどとても美味しくいただけました。１１時のチェックアウトまでゆっくりと過ごすことができました。コーヒーはロビーでいただくことができました。チェックアウト時は見送りも複数人でとても感じ良かった。とても素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。 以下の点を除けばですが、、 　まず、部屋のマイナスから。テレビの位置。寝ながら見ることは難しい位置に設置されています。それとコンセント。数が少なく、充電できるところが少ない。また、窓の外に目をやると、タバコの吸い殻が。。上の雨樋から流れてきたか？いずれにせよ部屋掃除のチェックが甘いと思う。 次に風呂場。洗顔料などのアメニティが所々にしかない。しかも固定されているわけではないのでどこにあるかを探さないといけません。。それほどコストがかかるとは思いませんから全ての洗い場に設置しても良いんでは？また、脱衣所もアメニティの配置に規則性がなく、統一感がない。 　また掃除、片付けについてもなんだか怪しい。。夜２回、朝と風呂には入ったが、同じところにゴミがそのままだし、前夜に空いていたロッカーも変わらず開いたままだったところを見るとチェックしていないのか？お掃除スタッフは居るには居ましたが。そして致命的なことはタオルが臭いこと。何枚か取り替えてみたが変わらない。これは致命的。気分台無し。尚、バスタオルは部屋から持っていき、タオルは風呂場に置いてあるのを使うことになっています。 　次にマッサージ。こちらは委託だとは思いますが単純にレベルが低い。 　最後に食事。まず、お給仕さんのレベルが低い。おそらく近所のパートさんかと思いますがもう少し接客を勉強したほうが良い。話し方もあまりにフランクすぎるし料理の説明もあやふや。レストランの雰囲気とはあまりにミスマッチすぎました。 　次に料理について。まず夜は懐石料理となっています。それぞれの料理は見た目も味も満足できます。ただ、焼き物が出てこない。懐石料理を知っていればそのテーブルを見て提供できていないことは気づくはず。こちらからお話しして提供していただきましたが、その時、給仕さんがぺこり。その後責任者みたいな人がきて頭を下げられました。でもヘラヘラして”どぅもすいませ〜ん”的な感じ。なんだこりゃ？？あっけに取られました。責任者がこれじゃだめだ。。デザートは島原名物の寒ざらし。食後にさっぱりできる点はよかった。ただ、白玉の硬さにムラがありすぎる。妙に硬いものと柔らかいものが混在しすぎ。また、翌日の朝食の*焼きには魚の骨レベルの大きな竹箸のササクレが入っていました。子供が食べれば大事件です。あえて言うことはありませんでしたが、メニューに工夫があるだけにもう少しそれを活かせるスタッフ教育は必要だと思う。食後のコーヒーも酸っぱすぎ。好みの部分もあると思うが改善したほうがウケが良いと思う。 〜総評〜 ハード面、工夫などは高級な雰囲気を出しており、きちんと生かされていればレベルも高いホテルとなると思う。ただ、如何せんソフト面が弱すぎる。ホテルに中身がない。メニューも工夫され、しっかりと調理すれば素敵な料理。掃除、スタッフの教育もすればもう２つレベルが上がると思う。天皇陛下もご宿泊されたホテル。それを謳うのであればしっかりとその辺りのレベルアップを図るべき。

I was as little apprehensive staying here given the poor ratings, but I couldn't have been happier. Staff were friendly, and made an effort, although only 1 reception girl spoke any English. I had a Japanese style room overlooking the lake. It was massive, and very comfortable. The only issue was that the windows weren't double glazed, and it was freezing outside (-8c overnight), and the sitting area got extremely cold. I guess it doesn't normally get this cold though. The room was warm with the sliding doors closed. The onsen were perfectly acceptable. The rooftop one was great in the snow! I had half board. The food options were extensive at both breakfast and dinner. If you don't eat Japanese food the choice will be quite limited though. Good selection of free drinks, and decent selection of paid for alcoholic drinks. There's loads of common areas and places to relax. A previous commenter mentioned the long corridors, which is true, the wrong room can mean long walks to the onsen and restaurant. Overall, 5*. But remember this is a JAPANESE hotel, catering to domestic tourists, so don't expect an international style hotel!

This hotel is located right in the center of Unzen, a volcanic area. You can see the hot springs from outside your window and from the hotel dining room. It is beautiful inside. Each room has their own (onsen) hot spring bath which they clean each day. Our room faced the mountain. All the rooms include drinks and food. We opted for the breakfast and dinner which was a good decision for us as we did not have a car. The dinner was fabulous and well worth the extra money. The service was impeccable and everyone was super kind.

和洋室に宿泊。夕食に鯛しゃぶ会席をいただきました。 お部屋はリニューアルしたこともあって非常に綺麗でした。ツインベッドが置いてありながらも畳でゆっくりするのに十分なスペースがあります。 夕食に頂いた鯛しゃぶ会席は地のものを使いながら非常に美味しい品ばかり。刺身用の醤油や、ポン酢なども手作りというこだわり。食事の量は男性でも十分に満足できる量でした。 駐車場はあるのですが、ホームページなどどこにも場所の記載がありません。当日、一度ホテル前まで車で行き案内を受ける形になります。

年末に連泊しました。 結果として満足のいく宿泊には至りませんでした。 2022年12月15日リニューアルオープンの老舗高級旅館との 認識でした。 確かに建物は新しく、プレミアムスイートだったので半露天風呂付です。 スイートに決めたのはスイート7部屋限定のラウンジもあったからです。 スイートラウンジの売りは火を焚いての高級な雰囲気とのことでしたが、 2日目はその時間帯に火は焚かれていませんでした。 ティータイムはコーヒーマシンと乾きもののみ。バータイムはスパークリングワイン と赤白ワインとやはり乾きもの。2日間で他の客と会ったのは1組のみ。 皆さんもラウンジとは言えないと感じているのでしょう。 コーヒーが飲めない私には何のメリットもありません。お伝えしたところ、翌日に水の ペットボトルが置いてありました。その程度の対応なのですね。 スイートラウンジとはどういうものか、他の高級ホテル・旅館で勉強されるべきです。 売店もオープン時間にも関わらず閉まっている時がありました。 また、バーラウンジやティーラウンジも楽しみにしていましたが、 蓋を開けてみるとまだオープンしていないとのこと。こちらも宿選びの基準としていましたが、 グランドオープンとは言い難い状態です。まるで詐欺ですね。 食事のお味は可もなく不可もなし。初日は接客はお粗末なもので、居酒屋にいる気分。 値段に見合ったものではありませんでした。クレーム後、2日目以降はしっかりとした対応の方へ 変更となりましたが。 初日の夕食ではお品書きにはないものが突然別が出てきました。 最初の説明は雪の影響で材料か入らないからとの説明でしたが、女将に聴いたところ 当日からメニューが変わっていたとのこと。最初の説明は嘘だったのですね。 食材も鮑や魚、野菜にいたるまで被りまくり。一回の食事でです。 部屋の半露天風呂付は泉質こそ良いものの、浴槽は小さくひとりで入るのがやっと。 コンセプトが全く理解できません。また湯温が安定せず、体感では38℃～45℃を行ったり来たり。 安定したのは2日目の夜でした。 これら不満の原因のひとつは情報発信の少なさ。 宿のホームページにはどんな部屋なのか、どんな施設があるのか、どんな食事なのか、 どんなサービスがあるのか等がほとんどわかりません。リンクのブログとやらも10月24日の 竣工式のアップ以降、更新なし。 また、HPでリンクしているSNS。フェイスブックやTwitterもほぼ発信なし。 この時代、客は宿選びにはまず情報を求めます。宿泊サイトでのクチコミもリニューアルオープン 以降ほぼゼロ。壊滅的な状況です。 他の方が少ないクチコミで書かれていましたが、事前に電話連絡があったとのこと。我が家には無く こちらから電話しました。その時にSNS等のこともお話しましたが、電話に出た女性は笑いながら 「スタッフがいないものですから」... 因みにこのクチコミにも未だに返信がありませんね。 もうひとつの原因は経営層なのだと思量。均一化されていない接客教育が窺い知れます。 ましてや女将の対応はその場限りの責任逃れ一辺倒と感じました。 スタッフの方。初日のサーブは別として、皆さんとても頑張っていらっしゃいます。 彼らのためにも現状を振り返り、客の立場に立った高級旅館の名に恥じないものとすること が必要なのではないでしょうか。 今回、値引き要求は敢えてしませんでしたが、対価とサービスの乖離は非常に大きかったです。 年に数回の楽しみ、ましてや年の慰労の場であったことを考えると非常に残念でなりません。 とあるHPの紹介では次のように書かれていました。 昭和４年創業。天皇陛下、皇太子殿下のご宿泊、北原白秋や野口雨晴などの文人、 また美空ひばりさんが北九州公演の際、療養地として利用した。 これでは格式ある素晴らしい宿と認識してしまいます。自身の慧眼を悔いるばかりです。

普通の温泉旅館でした。到着時、玄関に車寄せはなく、自分で車をホテル裏の駐車場に駐めて、荷物を持ってホテルに向かいます。チェックインは名前を2度聞きされるなど、ちょっと残念な感じ。また部屋のアメニティを必要なものをフロント脇からとって部屋に行くようになっていて、まるでビジネスホテルのよう。お部屋はリノベして2部屋を一つにした感じの作りで、以前の部屋のユニットバスがそのままあるので、部屋に2つのユニットバスがありました。洗面台はユニットバスなので、温泉旅館にいながらビジネスホテルに泊まっているような感じでした。因みにフローリングにリノベされた部屋でしたが、部屋にスリッパはありませんでした。部屋には大きなテレビがリビングと寝室に1台ずつあったり、illy の使いにくいけどオシャレなエスプレッソマシーンがあったり、アウトレットの数も十分ありました。 お風呂は男女それぞれ露天風呂と内湯がひつつずつと、貸切風呂がいくつかありました。露天風呂の一つは脱衣所が風呂の脇にあり、洗面台はなくドライヤーもないので、秋冬は風邪をひかないように注意が必要です。よくいえば野手溢れる露天風呂。 全てではないがサウナがあったのは良かったし、朝からサウナが使えるのも良かった。洗い場は3-4人分しかなく、こじんまりとした温泉です。 料理は食事処でいただきました。お料理の内容により食事処が異なるようです。食事処は隣の声が筒抜けながら壁に囲まれた個室でいただけます。料理は美味しかったし、手抜きがないと感じるものでした。すき焼き風鍋が出てきて鍋の蓋を開けたら妻の鍋には水菜が入っていて、、私に鍋にはニラが入っていました。材料が切れたのか、手違いなのかわかりません。
