Это было потрясающе! Хочется отметить лояльность и гостеприимность персонала, они создают очень теплую атмосферу с заботой. Наш номер был восхитительным, детали интерьера завораживают, чистота, вкусный аромат и есть всё необходимое для проживания. Очень приятные впечатления и обязательно вернемся снова!

Location is considered ok.
Indoor parking so it’s safe and it’s free
Beside the guesthouse there’s a restaurant for dinner. Food is ok. Service of this hotel is good. Room comes with a portable heater. It was cold during the midnight when I’m there in august.
Hotel provide breakfast mainly cold dish but you can request for fried eggs.

Frühstück ist sehr gut und vielfältig. Großes Zimmer mit Balkon direkt an der Straße, die jedoch nicht stark befahren wird. Personal freundlich. Der Manager oder Eigentümer könnte zumindest grüßen.

我們預訂了兩間房，6月14日入住。酒店佈局優雅，非常安靜，房間大小適中，乾淨整潔。酒店有餐廳，我們在酒店餐廳用了晚餐，雖然西餐不合我們的口味，但我們還是很滿意。早餐很棒，專門烹飪的雞蛋餅非常美味。要特別感謝的是前台小夥子，他不僅熱情好客，第二天還特地陪伴我們遊覽市中心的商業街、百年德國建築、棧橋、博物館、手工藝市場等，耐心給我們講解，分文不受，令我們感動。看得出，小夥子勤奮好學，有志向，是我此次非洲之行遇到的最棒的黑人小夥子。對中國遊客如此友好的納米比亞朋友，他要是來中國、來上海，我一定以禮相待。

Das The Delight Swakopmund ist wie ein modernes Hotel an der deutschen Nord- und Ostsee aufgemacht und ausgestattet. Maritime, aber auch namibianische Accessoires angenehm und stillvoll gemischt. Sehr nettes, kompetentes englischsprachiges Personal an/in Rezeption, Restaurant/Bar und Housekeeping. Nettes Detail war das abendliche Verteilen von Wärmflaschen vor einer kühleren Nacht. Frühstücksbuffet und Bar waren gut sortiert .Das Zimmer (Familienzimmer) war sehr geräumig und komplett ausgestattet. Alles funktionierte und war sauber.
Alles in Allem jederzeit wieder und auch weiterzuempfehlen.

На территории очень чисто - каждый день все тщательно убирается и моется. Завтрак в формате шведского стола включён в стоимость (мюсли, овсянка, йогурт, яйца, яблоки, хлеб, тосты, джем, арахисовая паста, молоко, сливочное масло, льняное семя, подсолнечное семечки). Кровати оборудованы двумя USB портами и лампами. Есть также маленькая полочка. Несколько душей, туалетов. На территории живут две очаровательные собаки и кошка. Расположение не в центре, но в пешей доступности от основных достопримечательностей. Атмосфера доброжелательная, сотрудники приветливые.

Convenient location as it is 5 minutes away by footfrom all the tours available in Walvis Bay, right by the waterfront.
The room was perfect, with a gorgeous sea view and grass covered terrace / garden and palm trees everywhere. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom has a walk-in shower. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Water bottles are free in the room.
The breakfast was diverse and tasty.
This hotel deserves a better rating.

I prefer when people give practical reviews so I’d like to do that here.
The Hotel is in a great location, with a great exterior and friendly staff but that’s it.
It’s unfortunately not a place for friends or young couples.
We stayed in a comfort room and paid per person
The rooms have no wow effect. And felt more like a standard room.
Strong points: 1)sea view 2)bathtub
Weak points: 1)overpriced - price is per person not per room 2) no amenities- old tv, no spa or gym, no lounge 3) poor breakfast.
The staff was so friendly and helpful but there’s a difference between hospitality and friendliness. Hope they can improve on this.
I recommend for 1 person only and for one night only.

AAnonymous UserThe towels were clean and the sheets were dirty. Let housekeeping change a set or there were stains. I suspect that they put the bedding on the ground and fold it? The quilt is huge and heavy.
Breakfast is basic, not bad. The water pressure in the bath is OK, and the water pressure in the nano is generally small.
In fact, the location of the hotel is very good, very close to the restaurant and the sea pier, just a few minutes walk. The room on the first floor is also very convenient to run out to shoot flamingos. The surrounding environment is also very quiet and safe.
The carpet in the room has a smell, maybe because the seaside humidity is high, it is inevitable to have a tide, and it should be much better to replace it with the floor.
The staff, how to say it, the project is very energetic, but it seems to be a lot of routines, anyway, I finally set it myself. When I finally checked out, I told me that the room rate needed to be settled. I said that I obviously paid Trip.com, and then the front desk said that I had already paid. Strange.
The hotel picks up 250 nanometers per person, and the drop-off is the company asking the front desk to find the driver, 2 people 400.

JJason CorbettWe had a wonderful time here! The apartment was beautiful with a stunning view of the beach. The restaurant, Salt, has some great food for both breakfast and dinner. Staff here were very kind and friendly to us. It is located right on the beach so you can go for a nice walk along the beach at any time. It’s between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay so has easy access to both towns for travellers. You’ll really enjoy your time here.

GGuest UserThe Delight Swakopmund is like a modern hotel on the German North and Baltic Sea. Maritime, but also Namibian accessories are pleasantly and quietly mixed. Very nice, competent English staff at/in reception, restaurant/bar and housekeeping. Nice detail was the evening distribution of hot bottles before a colder night. Breakfast buffet and bar were well-sorted .The room (family room) was very spacious and completely equipped. All worked and was clean.
All in All to be recommanded again and again at any time.

YYaoyaoWe booked two rooms and stayed on June 14. The hotel is elegantly laid out, very quiet, the rooms are moderately large and clean. The hotel has a restaurant, we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, although the Western food is not to our taste, we are still very satisfied. The breakfast was great and the specially cooked egg cakes were delicious. Special thanks to the front desk guy, he not only warm and hospitable, the next day also specially accompanied us to visit the commercial street in the city center, century-old German architecture, trestle bridge, museums, craft market, etc., patiently explained to us, the pennies were not, we were moved. I can see that the young man is diligent and learned, and has aspirations. It is the best black guy I have ever met on this trip to Africa. If he is such a friendly Namibian friend to Chinese tourists, he will come to China and Shanghai, I will treat him with courtesy.
