This stay truly understands families with children! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center. Shopping and dining are right at your doorstep, so there's no need to waste time traveling. The room has a full cartoon theme, with adorable cartoon stickers on the walls and even animal-shaped throw pillows. My child was so excited they started jumping as soon as we entered the room, no need to even try to entertain them. The most pleasant surprise was the window view. Opening the window, you can see the bustling city center streetscape. During the day, you watch the traffic flow, and at night, the city lights sparkle. Every photo taken is beautiful. Plus, we were given fresh welcome fruits upon check-in, along with authentic Qinghai yogurt – sour, sweet, and refreshing. The attention to detail is just incredible. Staying here with kids is totally worth it!

The environment is very good, the service is thoughtful, the facilities are clean, and the car can be parked for free. The downside is that there is no air conditioning in the room, the temperature is low, it is a bit cold, and it is easy to catch a cold. There are also two holes in the bed sheet, which should be repaired.

I was initially a bit worried after seeing numerous negative reviews online, but my actual stay turned out quite pleasant. **Pros:** The hotel is centrally located, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Right across the street is a trendy chain restaurant, a famous cultural heritage spot frequented by celebrities; even at 9 PM, there was still a queue. The room was quite spacious and came with all the basic amenities. Cleanliness was satisfactory. Breakfast was rather plentiful, and the rice noodles were particularly good. However, the coffee could definitely be improved; if it's instant, there's no real reason to go to the breakfast area for it when I could just make it in my room. **Cons:** As many online reviewers pointed out, the elevators were quite slow during peak hours. What was surprising was that housekeeping was doing their cleaning during the morning rush hour. Couldn't that be scheduled for a different time? The hairdryer is quite old and could do with an upgrade. Also, the small bottles of toiletries were genuinely difficult to dispense; this is definitely an area for improvement. **Overall:** While the investment in physical facilities is evident and good, there's still room for improvement in the details of their operational service.

This hotel was great. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds comfortable. The A/C worked and you couldn't hear noise from the hallways (well-insulated). The translation capabilities were lacking, but you could make do with your own app. Breakfast and dinner were great. If i came to Xining again, i would stay here.

For the past two years, I've visited Xining almost annually for work, and Qinghai Hotel has always been my one and only choice for accommodation. What makes it stand out are the incredibly welcoming staff, the plentiful and delicious breakfast, the warm and comfortable rooms, and, most importantly, the truly comfortable beds and bedding. This time, taking advantage of a holiday, my friends and I set off from Lanzhou for a spontaneous Gansu-Qinghai Grand Loop road trip. We were on the road early mornings and late nights every day, so by the time we reached Qinghai Hotel for the night, I slept soundly from 11 PM until 8 AM. It was exactly what I needed to truly recover and shake off the fatigue.

The interior decoration of the room is similar to that of a four-star hotel. The bathroom is slightly weaker. It provides disposable towels and bath towels to avoid the problem of hygiene and cleaning of bathroom supplies, but after all, it has a different feeling from the towels of high-end hotels. When I arrived at the hotel, the boss was very enthusiastic. Although there was no parking lot of his own, he could park at the entrance of the hotel. Others were parked in the opposite parking lot. Fortunately, the road was not wide and it was very convenient to cross the street. In the morning, there are many people eating, and the boss is personally there to help everyone. He is a enthusiastic and diligent boss, and he is a boss who wants to open the hotel. Forgot to take photos of the hotel, just take a few photos on the road to the hotel and leave the hotel. Hotel location is good, 10 minutes from the hotel to go to Zhuoer Mountain to watch the sunrise.

It was midnight when we arrived in Xining. As the starting point of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, we had a good rest. The new hotel has a little smell, but it is fine once the fresh air system is turned on. The breakfast is not suitable for southerners, it is simple and not suitable for this star rating.

We started our final China trip form Ürümqi followed by Turpin and Dunhuang. While our hotels there were reasonable, we felt really comfortable when we stayed at at a Club floor room at Sofitel Xining. Their service was one of the best we have experienced during our seven China trips so far. We enjoyed the comfort and the staff’s dedicated service. Thank you.

The stay experience was great! The front desk lady Ms. Li has a super good service attitude, a sweet smile and enthusiasm, efficient and professional procedures, and also intimately introduced the delicious food around the hotel. At the same time, we gave us a breakfast coupon, giving people a first impression of full marks, and adding a lot of points to the hotel! After checking in, enter the room, the sports car poster and sports car bed that come into view, wow, which boy does not love it? I knew I was really choosing the right one.
