"What an absolute gold mine of a hotel …. The little units had all you could want they were warm cosy clean and comfortable. With an absolute bonus of a heated bathroom floor.
We stayed a couple of nights and ate at Boots and Jandels and the Wrinkly Rams both delicious. We also went to the hot springs which were delightful.
The manager here was also so friendly and helpful I would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone."

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were incredibly warm and provided excellent service. We arrived early, around noon, and they kindly allowed us to check in ahead of schedule. Seeing that we were elderly and didn't speak the local language, they thoughtfully printed out a hotel guide in Chinese and had a staff member escort us to our room (as the hotel is quite large). This made our check-in process so easy and we felt truly cared for. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and tidy. The location is also excellent, right by the lake, and transportation is convenient. We just took bus No. 1 from the airport, got off, and it was only about a hundred meters walk. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant had a particularly beautiful ambiance!

TTravellingcouple91523Amazing hotel. Good service and friendly staff members. Nice king bed and we had an extra sofa bed which is a bonus, it was set-up for free for us as my partner sleep snoring very loudly.
The location is great and easy to find.
The downgrade was the parking, there was no free parking as we had to pay $20 per 24hr. So we had to spent $60 just for parking, its ridiculous expensive. The hotel should've provide it free parking.
But other than that the stayed was amazing.
Had a great restaurant by the wharf and the food is amazing and bonus with an amazing views.

PPuwuNestled in a valley just 20 minutes from Queenstown, this hidden gem is a hidden gem.
The hotel rooms are very fancy, and there's even an open-air bathtub, an indoor swimming pool, and a spa.
The value for money is truly excellent. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe service at this hotel was excellent; the staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was the best, most varied, and most delicious we'd had since Christchurch. It seems the hotel is undergoing renovations, as there was a distinct smell of paint in the hallway, though the room itself was fine. The front desk is located by the lake, but the navigation system hasn't been updated yet. We arrived around 6 PM after dark, and the navigation led us to the street behind the hotel's old building.
The hotel lobby offers complimentary wine, chocolates, and cookies at different times throughout the day, which was lovely to enjoy after an afternoon walk.
However, there's one facility that definitely needs upgrading: the shower water pressure was extremely weak, and the water temperature was very unstable—either lukewarm or suddenly scalding hot. Overall, showering was very uncomfortable.
Aside from the shower, everything else about the hotel was very satisfying 👍

Hotel keeps original decoration you can feel warm with the fireplace and wooden furniture. But the room is clean with modern style.

I had an excellent stay at the Cambridge Hotel. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a great city view from the balcony.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
The facilities were also impressive, especially the indoor pool and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Everything felt well-maintained and welcoming.
Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

LLoui_The hotel's exterior is easy to find, located on the steepest hill in Queenstown. The bus stop for Arrowtown is just a few minutes' walk away, and it's about a ten-minute walk down to the city center supermarket.
**Environment:** The hotel layout felt a bit like a maze, and the signage wasn't very clear. On my second morning, I was in a hurry to check out at the front desk and got lost. I ended up having to walk out onto the main road and then loop back around to the reception, which was quite inconvenient. I suggest improving the signage.
**Facilities:** I was genuinely impressed when I entered the hotel room. Aside from the noise from being close to the road, the views were absolutely stunning. You could see the lake, overlook the city center and the mountains. Plus, it had floor-to-ceiling windows, a balcony, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with tableware, a dishwasher, and a washer-dryer. It was a complete luxury living setup, and I was very satisfied.

SStevenSzeto_HKThe staff are nice and friendly. Good to have the water refill machine at the lobby and the hotel room is clean and tidy. The only issue is they have a limited number of carpark space and need to book for the carpark space in advance, but there are still lots of public street parking space next to the hotel as well. So generally everything is good and worth for money!
