Older building, but nice rooms, clean, friendly staff, pillows were excellent, not flat pancakes. I liked that they gave you a generous amount of wash cloths & towels (even though they were rough) All the towels felt like the mat you put on the floor by the shower. The bed was very comfy. Clean sheets and good comforter. Carpet was clean. Come with your own beverages. Water was $3 in the room. All around 7.5 hotel. Nice location I would definitely recommend!

This may be one of the finest hotels we experienced during our travels in the USA. The staff were exceptionally friendly, starting from the moment we entered the hotel. Ms. Stephanie, we are incredibly grateful for your kind assistance and understanding. They recognized how exhausted we were from our adventures at the remarkable Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, so they expedited our check-in process and provided us with various resources to help us regain our energy. They truly paid attention to our needs and responded swiftly. We sincerely appreciate that. The room is clean and cozy, and the view from the 23rd floor is fantastic. The food is excellent. The Harley-Davidson Museum is located just about a mile from the hotel, and we were able to reach many fascinating places within walking distance. The city view is breathtaking. We hope to return to Milwaukee someday, and if we do, we will certainly choose The Pfister Hotel again. Thank you very much!

Although I was there due to a family emergency, my stay at the Best Western was satisfactory. The staff was kind, attentive, and made a difficult time a bit easier — truly appreciated. Will stay brook again.

My favorite hotel experience by far! Friendly front desk staff - my room had all the things I desire in a room: comfy bed & pillows, microwave, fridge, a no step-in shower to a spacious space, a fan i& a night light in the bathroom, and BEST of all, a (Keurig) coffee pot!!! The room was very quiet all night as well, which made for a good nights sleep 😊

TTaylorMy husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area.

We only stayed for one night which was definitely not long enough. The room was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each villa has its own outdoor pool, which is pretty amazing. We got there too late to use but we were able to use the indoor pool. My one and only complaint was the hot tub was lukewarm. We're not able to explore the entire resort, but we did go to the west bar which had an amazing piano player/ singer. The marina area was beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will most definitely be coming back to stay longer and partake in the activities put on by the resort. I do wish I could've brought my dog but I understand.

The mattresses and pillows are a bit uncomfortable, so you may want to bring your own if you are a light sleeper. Overall: The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Madison West, WI is a good budget option for travelers looking for a clean and convenient place to stay, just 25 minutes drive to Downtown Madison. The location is excellent, the breakfast is okay, and the rooms are clean. However, the mattresses and pillows are a bit uncomfortable, so you may want to bring your own pillow if you are a light sleeper. Here are some additional details that I would want to share with potential guests: The hotel is located right off a major highway with easy access to Downtown area, airport and interstate to other major cities. The rooms are big, but they are functional and have everything you need for a short or long stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a fitness center and a indoor pool. Overall, I would recommend The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Madison West, WI to budget-minded travelers who are looking for a clean and convenient place to stay. GGuest UserOur stay was short because we were just in town for a wedding, but you get what you pay for. Especially for only 62$ a night. It was decent cleanliness, i mainly marked it down because we found and killed 3 bugs, which bugs are like my worst enemy. We checked for bed bugs, there weren’t any. we also marked it down because of the little smell that wasn’t quite right and on one of the bed sheets there was a brown stain. a tip for the staff if they are reading this, the plug in wall scent thing needs to go upright, you put it upside down and it leaked all over the nightstand! Also to maybe even the owner, bug traps are so cheap, just some sticky ones behind the fridge and dressers would do you wonders. It would prevent from your customers having to see the bugs as well as having to kill them. The amenities are marked low because the pool was closed, and the restaurant that’s attached seems to not be in business. there was no signs that we could see saying that the business was closed but it looked that way.
The location is good, 10 minutes away from downtown! it’s a little bit of a rural area but it worked well for us as the wedding venue was only 10 minutes away.
So any future customers, if you are expecting a holiday inn or better, you aren’t gonna get it! This feels more like a mix between motel 6 and a super 8. Lower your expectations if you come here. it’s a doable place for a cheap stay.

Will definitely be returning. The water park is a little smaller that I thought it would be but that's all. The bartenders in the hotel bar were all super friendly. Had to rearrange my dates because of an unfortunate family matter but they were entirely accommodating.

The staff was very friendly when I arrived, and checkout was quick and easy, which I really appreciated. I also requested a 6am wake-up call, and they followed through right on time, which was very helpful. My room was clean, the heater worked well, and overall I was happy with the comfort and cleanliness of the space. A couple of downsides: there’s no elevator, so I had to carry a heavy suitcase up the stairs to my room. Breakfast was okay, but there weren’t many options to choose from. The only other issue was the atmosphere in the common areas. While this isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, there were a a few guests who made things feel a bit uncomfortable. One person was loudly arguing and swearing in the hallway and at the front desk, and another guest appeared to be staying long-term, scolding her kids and a baby running around the breakfast area in just a diaper. It gave the public spaces a slightly uneasy vibe, even though the staff handled things as best they could and were consistently kind and professional. Overall, I had a clean and comfortable stay, and I’d consider staying again if I needed a place in a pinch — I’d just keep expectations modest regarding amenities and the general lobby/hallway environment.

The hotel has a swimming pool, but I didn't use it, which is why I cannot comment on it in more detail. However, I have seen some people using it. There was breakfast served every morning, but the selection was basic. I wish they had regular corn flakes for cereals in addition to the three other types. However, bagels, muffins, sausages and fried egg discs plus different juices are enough to give you strength for the start of the day. Here are the positives and negatives of this hotel: ++ Conveniently located near the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, CVTC and Marshfield Clinic. There are many restaurants and fast-food places around, and there is a bus stop close by, as well as a Kwik Trip gas station. + The room was cozy and clean. + The room had a futon and a good desk. - Wifi did not always work reliably; sometimes, I had to enter the credentials repeatedly after some time went by. -- Poor sound insulation: When someone walked above my room, it felt like that person was tramping. Fortunately, the guest above me moved out, but if you want silence, insist on a room on the second floor. Overall, I had a good time at the hotel, and the staff was friendly. I feel like it provides good value for money.
