We chose this hotel as we were trying to stick to a budget, and this fitted in nicely. Slightly worried that the accommodation is made for a budget traveller as we like to splash out on our hotels……however we needn’t have worried! Sure enough, this is no 5* hotel however it is located extremely conveniently in the old town right next to all the things you would want to visit…..with excellent views of the snow capped Alps. The reception team were courteous, gave us all the sufficient information we needed and allowed us to store our luggage whilst we waited for our room to be ready. Once in the room, it was actually very large with two single beds next to each other. Crisp white sheets and a softer than I would have liked mattress, but comfortable nonetheless. Plenty of storage space, little biscuits placed on our pillows and plenty of warm heat coming from the radiators. Separate bathroom which had plenty of hot water, not the strongest of pressure coming out but adequate. The reception team are on hand until 2200pm, but they give you a key to access the hotel once they lock the doors. The room was pretty sound proof, but you could hear others guests in the hallway which wasn’t really bothersome. The lift is very small but fitted two people in plus luggage, but there are stairs up to reception so that part isn’t very accessible if you can’t do stairs. The hotel is only 7 minute walk to the train station which was super convenient for catching our 0828am Bernina Express train! Overall a very nice stay! One word of warning - check your booking includes en-suite bathroom, not all rooms have en-suite.

We stayed at St Moritz Youth Hostel for a night after taking the Glacier Express from Zermatt. One might think lesser of a hostel as compared to a hotel but after our night stay at St Moritz Youth Hostel, I found myself truly underestimating the service a hostel can offer, much unbeknownst to a general opinion. And we owe thanks to Iris and her team’s wonderful hospitality and service, the stay was a memorable and wonderful experience. It was the last night of our honeymoon trip in Switzerland. Although it was snowy, sheer cold and our skins were shivering from the brr conditions, the kindness and hospitality by Iris and her team who went above and beyond truly, exudes warmth from within, which made our experience an exceptional one. One that would etched in our memories for many decades to come. We felt that this hostel provides extremely good value and is only a 10 mins bus ride away from the train station. The bus stop is right outside the hostel so it’s convenient even with big luggages. We bought 24 hours tickets at the station for the bus ride. Hostel is clean and has a good welcoming vibe. Although we stayed in the shared bathroom, bathroom was clean and near, didn’t have to wait long to use. There was also a basin in the room so it’s quite convenient. You don't have to step out to brush teeth or do any washing. Do bring your own soap, u can borrow a hair dryer from reception. We had dinner at the hostel, it was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful too. I would highly highly recommend this place to stay , you are in safe hands and well taken care of by the awesome team! They are patient and answer all your questions and share with you more about how to get around. St Moritz is a small town, but the experience and takeaways we obtained from our stay, is far greater, significant than the place. This in my opinion, is what you call travelling for an experience, with an experience. Thank you so much to Iris and the team (sorry didn’t manage to get your names!!)!! Superb is an understatement.

We booked 2 rooms at the Mercure City west in Chur, in one of the rooms the comforter had blood stains, this was very unpleasant, the rooms were large and comfortable but not clean, the pillows were not comfortable and the breakfast was very bad, and the price is 25 CHF , you can find better breakfast in the city west shopping center for less ,don't pay the breakfast in the hotel ,the front desk was not friendly and unapologetic when we told them about the blood stains on the comforter, never said sorry.The people in this city is very rude. We do not recommend this Mercure Hotel in Chur, we have stayed in several Mercure Hotels and they have been good, unfortunately not this one.

The hotel is good located. Near by a bus station. Hotel is new and modern, however we have seen a lot of things which needs to be repaired. Parking is expensive with 24 euros per day. Smell in our room was terrible on arrival. Until I noticed that in the shower the cleaner removed the water outlet so that the bad smell could come in. Only one of the restaurants was open and not much of selection is possible. I would not recommend the restaurant. Waiter said to my daughter that the spaghetti from kids menu is too small and he will make it bigger, then charged 28 euros instead of 18. The Spaghetti was tooooo Al dente. Most of the waiters are unfriendly and let us not feel welcomed. Overall: we will not book this hotel again. My friend got a handicapped room even he booked the higher category. It seems they had no other room but they did not tell him during checkin. When he asked later they offered another room after 2 days. We complained that we don't like the room but they said many people like it.. Hey, hotel management, when somebody pays so much for a hotel who is not handicapped he don't like a shower curtain instead of nice glass walls, he don't need open space concept cabinets, he needs normal cabinets with doors, he may like to sit on the sofa.. But there was no sofa. Heating? Not on by purpose. Only when we complained they turned the heater on after 1 day. Instead they provided mobile heater . We talked to other guests who had the same issue. 5* hotel? The pool temperature was way too low. The noise there unacceptable due to the design which is simple painted concrete walls. Spa are is 3 star only. Nothing which let you stay there for long. Breakfast was quite good we enjoyed this the most. To leave the hotel everybody is using the way over the ski room...terrible layout. The layout is not well planned.

Positive: Nice room, good facilities, beautiful SPA area (that`s why gave at least some Points) Negative: Half board dinner was really poor, something you can buy in a grocery (e.g. smoked trout with toast, tomato soup from can) and cheesecake was totally unenjoyable (worst cheesecake in my life). Actually we would be happier if cheese cake would be grocery store quality. Moreover, staff was new and the manager pointed out on their mistakes less than 2 m from our table, so we could hear everything. Very unprofessional from restaurant manager! SPA: SPA was open till 21:00. At 20:00 no staff was presented. Probably due to lack of personnel: there were no glasses for water (there were no glasses when I come and there were no glasses when I left 30 min later), floors were wet. There were people walking in street clothes and shoes along the sauna, looking thought the glass wall inside of sauna. People were just lost as there were no-one who could guide them. However, for someone who was at the same time in sauna it was very unpleasant. After complaining about the situation at reception desk, again situation was not treated professionally, far away from 5-start hotel level. The service level was very cheap and poor!!!

Lucky we booked the Hauser. It is in the middle of town area with the best and most popular restaurant of its own in town. We got a balcony room with stunning view of town and mountain. Room is spacious and basic with every amenities you need. The efficient free shuttle back to train station was bonus. The staff helping the arrangement were all super friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed our breakfast. What's more you can expect from St Moritz?

A clean and basic hotel. Which is quite easy to reach from the train station via a very efficient bus/tram ( runs every 10 minutes, catch the red one to get to the old town/station). The man on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Gave us our welcome drinks. Sadly the only food on offer was frozen pizza ( not his fault) so we ended up having Maccas next door which is not my favourite food. I am sure there were other nearby choices but it was getting late and this was a stop between 2 big train journeys so we didn't want to go far. Comfortable bed and good shower. Large balcony with views to the mountains behind the hotel. Quiet. Very weird that there was only 1 power point! In this day and age that is very poor as everything you use needs charging. If there was another power point it was impossible to find. Breakfast had a reasonable range of choices.

It is also centrally located in the happening district of Chur, walking distance to many shops, restaurants and attractions in the old town. My room was huge, with a bathtub, separate shower and 2 washing sinks in the bathroom. I love the bathtub so much as it provided me the soak needed after a full busy day out. I also love the good quality toiletry provided. Beds are very comfortable, well rested after my 2-night stay in hotel. Breakfast was decent, nothing much to shout about. During checkout, some chocolate bars were given as token of appreciation, which was a good personal touch.

Where the place false short is the lack of any guest experience, especially given the high rates. You walk in and they hand you the keys, and thats pretty much it. Very little follow up on inquiries and practically no help (where to eat, ski, rent, store skis - all the basics). All our requests went unanswered (usually with a boiler plate email response written by an intern). No phones in the room so any inquiry requires a trip to the front desk where there is a large of group in line or it is unstaffed. We wanted some help planning NYE but no one really cared to help but they still charged us for their in-house party (which we were told was sold out) which they eventually removed. No big deal but it the lack of attention/ care that made our stay not great. Location: decent but its a solid walk down/ uphill with skis. Rooms: on the small side, especially for a ski holiday. Breakfast buffet is a large cafeteria style hall - no one really there to assist. Not a particularly nice experience. Customer service: very poor to non-existent. I would not stay there again. Did the job for a last minute holiday but totally unmemorable.

Zentral und doch erstaunlich ruhiges Hotel. (Südzimmer). Alles ist in unmittelbarer Umgebung zu Fuss erreichbar: Bergbahnen, Sportgeschäfte, Coiffeur, Bäckerei, Lebensmittelladen und 8 Restaurants für jeden Geschmack.Schöne, saubere Wellnessanlage. Reservation und Check-in einfach und schnell. Hilfsbereite und freundliche Menschen überall im Hotel. Wermutstropfen. Als langjähriger Gast ( Seit 1995 etwa 80 Aufentthalte in Sommer Herbst und Winter) empfindet man den Umgang kühl. Bis auf 2 sind alle bekannten Gesichter in Empfang und Restaurant verschwunden. Durch das Rocksresort wurde das Ganze zum Riesenbetrieb, der zwar gut funktioniert, aber zu Haus fühlt man sich nicht mehr. Die Hotelgäste sollten meiner Meinung nach persönlicher betreut werden, als die Gäste in den dutzenden von Wohnungen des Resorts. Der Preis ist doch einiges höher. So wie das jetzt läuft ist das wie bei IBIS oder andern Geschäftshotels. Und noch dies: Der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage kostet fürstliche 20 Franken/Nacht. Als ich einmal von einem Ausflug wieder einfahren wollte, hiess es das Parkhaus sei voll. Nach Diskussion mit dem Parkplatzwächter wurde ich eingelassen, und konnte dann mein Auto nach langer Suche in einer feuchten und dunklen Ecke im untersten Geschoss abstellen. Hab das an der Rezeption gemeldet. Wurde entgegengenommen. Reaktion null. Schade.

My stay at this wonderful hotel was absolutely amazing. It was a truly special vacation for me, as it was my first solo trip. Thanks to the incredibly kind and caring staff, I never felt lonely—in fact, everyone at the hotel, whether in the kitchen or at the front desk, was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the train station and surrounded by breathtaking nature. Just behind it is the Squirrel Path, which is an absolute highlight for anyone visiting Arosa. The rooms were well-equipped, extremely clean, and incredibly cozy. The food at the hotel was prepared with so much love and care, and it tasted delicious. My personal highlight was the spa area. With two different saunas and a pool, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. The hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I felt compelled to reflect that in this review. I decided upon checkout that I will definitely be coming back!

Had it been rated a 3 star, I might have given it a better review. The good - staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel was an easy walk from the train station and well located in the historic center near shops and restaurants. The mediocre - the rooms, clean and sizable if you paid for it, but in no way special. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable with variety, but again, nothing special (croissants were fresh and delicious). The bad - while the hotel was generally clean, the carpet on the public stairs was kind of disgusting. No A/C anywhere. In July this could be a problem for some. The nights were quite pleasant and you could leave your window open if you don’t mind the noise. They do provide you with a floor fan, which was great for us Americans used to AC.

We stayed here for 4 nights to visit the Junior World Championships Skeleton. This hotel will end in our top 3 best hotels we have stayed in! The service is close to perfection especially the concierge desk, everything is possible. Together with beautiful weather we had such a nice days. The only small remark was that the breakfast team had some troubles delivering what we ordered, every day a small surprise with something we certainly didn’t order. Overall next time we have to come in summer to explore the area again.

New, modern and comfortable hotel that respects its history but is fully rooted in the present with a trendy buzzy vibe. The common areas have the feeling of a living room and not a museum like many other luxury hotels in town. Rooms are large and comfortable with excellent storage space, staff is very friendly and helpful especially Simon Wiel, and food and drink are well curated. Honestly the only thing missing is an outdoor heated rooftop pool (can you imagine, with that view!?), but in all reality, I was very impressed and enjoyed my time thoroughly.

It was fantastic holidays ! Everything was perfect, from the check in until the check out. They are extremely serious with Covid situation. Respectful of the swiss law. I felt safe and enjoyed myself so much! The restaurants are delicious and have great atmosphere ! Andrea and all the staff, all of them are so professional and kind. Sabine in the morning is wonderful person. The reception staff is so helpful, all of them! The ski school has been amazing, Claudi is so warm and kind, thanks to her. Léa, Gregory and Marko are excellent ski instructor. The Corvatch ski rentals are just exceptional. So quick and helpful, The rooms were so clean and tidy all the time, nothing was missing. Room service , house keeping and the Valet parking made all the difference. Once again everything was perfect ! Thank you again!

Excellent experience! Perfect rooms and exceptional breakfasts. Attentive staff. Very high level ski room and professional service, very comfortable to reach the slopes by hotels own ski lift and ski back to door. Spacious swimming pool and Spa area very comfortable and well maintained .Pleasure to pamper after skiing or mornings. Overall we had beautifull time! We'll be back definitely.

Stayed here for 2 nights stayed in room 32, when we walked in we thought waw what a room but then we went to close the door and the handle came off went to report it and was told we are waiting on technical to come and fix it but they dont work weekends,huge fire hazard, the safe doesnt work its in the wardrobe above the bed so have to stand on a chair to get to it, he bed is lovely and comfy, bathroom is lovely, we stayed and there was snow on the ground the room was freezing my husband went to complain and was told the heating is on he asked for a heater and was told they dont have any we have searched the room there is no radiator or vent in this room to allow the heat to come in, after sitting under the quilt for 2 hrs and -4 outside i went to complain was told dont know whats wrong as heating is on and offered us a small heater which earlier was told didnt have 1 glad its the last night

Kami baru sahaja pergi. . Sangat memalukan, kolam air panas cantik. . Yang terbuka tidak boleh mengambil gambar, restoran Itali di tingkat bawah adalah lazat! Restoran bufet rata-rata, tetapi harganya sangat bagus untuk St. Moritz

A gorgeous hotel in the heart of St. Moritz. Spacious rooms over looking the mountains. They just opened a brand new covered Italian restaurant at the back of the hotel. It’s shaped like a tube with clear glass windows on the roof and on the side. The food, the ambiance, the service, the cocktails was just prefect. I would highly recommend the veggie lasagna. Loved everything about this hotel except there were far too many tour groups staying at the hotel so it got a little chaotic at breakfast time in the restaurant and they did not have enough staff to keep up with the demand. I noticed one waitress was asking other guests if they wanted omelet or they were fine with the buffet. Unfortunately she did not came to our table. I called her a couple of times but her attention was on other guests.

Very convenient location with bus ride to different parts of town. Has hotel car for free to take you from and to station. Lovely ski lodge theme room. Very nice hearing. Breakfast was standard, could see it snowing outside

El sitio es súper original, una cárcel restaurada, en el patio hay bicis, un restaurante y unas vistas chulísimas de la torre y las montañas. Está a 10 minutos de la estación de trenes, se llega fácilmente andando. Las habitaciones son compartidas, al menos la que cogimos nosotros, con 2 literas. Las camas son muy cómodas y todo está muy limpio. Dentro de la habitación hay un pequeño aseo. En cada planta hay unas 3 habitaciones, que comparten cocina común y un baño más grande con ducha. Llegamos muy tarde y nos fuimos muy temprano, por lo que no pudimos coincidir con el staff, pero por vía online fueron majísimos y atentos. Los chicos del restaurante, que son ajenos al albergue, fueron muy amables ayudándonos a encontrar la habitación, ya que el equipo del albergue ya no estaba. Me encantaría volver para quedarme varios días!

We did not get a good night's sleep here. It was a hot night and there was only one window in the room that opened onto the street. This meant that: 1) our room was inundated with cigarette smoke from the restaurant downstairs; and 2) the streetlights kept us awake (if you closed the blackout curtain, no air got it.) The mattresses on the bed were cheap and uncomfortable with only one thick blanket, which wasn't appropriate for the weather. The rest of the room was very bare bones. We picked this hotel because we thought it would be cute to stay in old town Chur, but it really wasn't. Not sure if there are better options in Chur, but I would keep looking!

I travelled as part of a group a few months ago. We were extremely impressed with the hotel and the friendly staff. The rooms were clean and well presented. The staff were always very attentive. In particular there was a cleaner with dark curly hair (a Portuguese or Spanish lady?) she was extremely polite and very welcoming.

Great little hotel. Recently renovated with a lift (elevator) and fresh decor. Very comfortable rooms, great beds and bedding and excellent ensuite. Fairly quiet location even though in the heart of town and surrounded by old town sights. Hundreds of restaurants nearby. Good buffet breakfast of usual European variety. Helpful, friendly staff.Fridge and coffee maker in room (no cooking allowed). Overall great experience. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
