I stayed in this hotel for one night in May 2023. Inside, the hotel looks nice and rooms are quite cozy. There is a large bed and given that I was traveling for business it was important for me to have a big working table. Bathroom was very clean and they have Elemis cosmetics which surprised me - very nice! I rated it four stars only due to the fact that from the outside the hotel looks a bit old and access to the hotel is not very nice to me. It has its own beach and is very well located for calm morning walks. Staff was very polite.

Hotel “Lone” is located in a beautiful park, near the sea, about 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of the picturesque town of Rovinj. The building itself and the interior design of the hotel are a masterpiece of contemporary architecture. Hotel “Lone” is certainly one of the most beautiful hotels on the entire Adriatic coast and the only member of the “Design Hotels” group in Croatia. All public areas of the hotel, as well as the rooms, are extremely spacious, full of light, with minimalist contemporary decoration. All furniture, artwork and staff uniforms are specially designed for the hotel. Hotel “Lone” is designed as a five-star hotel. It has a large congress centre and a magnificent spa, as well as several restaurants. As there are two other very luxurious hotels in the vicinity of this hotel, which belong to the same “Maistra” hotel group, “Lone”, apart from being a congress hotel, is primarily intended for slightly younger guests and families with children. The hotel's ambience and its guests could be described with some of the following words: image conscious, business, casual luxury, wellness. The staff is very professional and efficient. During my stay, I stayed in the Premium Room, which is beautifully decorated, with all amenities. Perhaps the in-room bar offering could be slightly improved. The room also has a balcony with a view of the park. The spacious bathroom has a bathtub and shower, with “Malin+Goetz” toiletries. The cleanliness is impeccable. Turn-down service is not provided for this type of room, which might be expected from a hotel of this category. As “Lone” is a very big hotel, breakfast can be a bit chaotic, but the staff really tries. The choice of food is very good. In addition, for lunch or dinner the offer of food and drinks in the hotel is diverse: there is a restaurant that specializes in burgers and is also possible to try some classic dishes of Croatian and international cuisine. In addition, the hotel also has a superb Japanese-Asian restaurant “Tekka” with an excellent offer. The wellness area extends to 1,700 square meters. As well as the entire hotel, it amazes with its decoration. Everything is perfectly maintained. Perhaps the only thing that should be provided is a more cosmetics. In short, “Lone” is a phenomenal hotel. If, by any chance, a little more attention was paid to the personalized service, as well as the food and drink offer, the hotel would certainly be one of the best in the Mediterranean.

Finding an hotel like this in Croatia isn’t that easy as there are just not that many 4 and 5 star hotels with this level op service and atmosphere. We can really recommend the Park Plaza Arena hotel in Pula. Located on a peninsula near the Yacht harbor with entrance to the sea and beaches it’s just a perfect spot. Great pool, good service.

This was the perfect base for exploring Rovinj. Rooms have been renovated and are nice, opt for sea view if possible. Breakfast was good, dinner was a bit hit or miss, we didn't stay long when having dinner as no atmosphere but it did the job before our nightly walk into town. Do visit the other hotels in the collection as they are really lovely as is the town itself. When we were there it was the international Salsa festival which understand happens every June, I would avoid if you don't want to be around dancers all day and night, they could be slightly annoying. Stone beach was great, and the pool looked good too, all free of use for hotel guests. Rovinj was lovely and the surrounding area is spotless and we felt safe wondering around at night. We would return sometime in the future.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und ist renovierungsbedürftig. Die Poolanlagen waren nicht wie gewohnt mit Chlorwasser, sondern mit Salzwasser befüllt und die Duschen im Außenbereich waren abgestellt (”Sparmaßnahme”). Im Außenbereich muss ebenfalls dringend saniert werden und mehr auf die Hygiene geachtet werden. Wir hatten zu dritt ein Superior-Zimmer, welches für ein Kurztrip ausreichend war. Man darf für die angegebenen 4 Sterne nicht zu viel erwarten, da kaputte Stellen nicht ersetzt wurden, gleicht das Zimmer eher einer 3 Sterne-Kategorie. Das Frühstück war relativ vielseitig und schmeckte auch gut. Kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe sind gegeben.

It is a bit rundown in places however, this can be ignored in favour of the beautiful setting and facilities offered. The staff is friendly and will offer a smile in return. The Pools are regularly maintained and there is an abundance of sun loungers all over the pool areas and pebble beaches. The level of cleanliness throughout the hotel lives up to its 4 star rating. The rooms are of a standard hotel layout and provide adequate storage for your clothes. The wardrobes do not have enough space to hang a full length dress and, as the dress code throughout the hotel is casual, you may wish to leave the 'Formal' clothes at home. We had a few issues with the room however , these were quickly resolved. The restaurant could be improved. The meals area sounds more like the works canteen with too many reflective surfaces to bounce the noise around. Table cloths would greatly improve the noise levels and ambience. There is a sort of music played over the many speakers which reaches all areas. Quite frankly, it becomes annoying after a time. The meals are buffet style and varied day to day and cater to all tastes however, I would suggest it is strongly aimed at Non British guests. The 'Canteen' opens at 6.30p.m. and, as there are no table allocations, there is always a mad rush to obtain the best tables. Generally the food is of a good standard and along with free wine and beer on tap, is acceptable. Overall I would recommend this hotel. There are sea views from all rooms to varying degrees. I would recommend going high and take a room facing the other island. Ask to see a layout of the hotel and choose your own room. The ferry to Rovinj is regular and the town is worth a visit. I would definitely go back to Croatia. A country worth a visit.

Just returned from a beautiful holiday visited this hotel several years ago now !loved it then and still do! About an hour distance from airport which to be honest went quickly due to the beautiful scenery! Hospitality is wonderful by all in Novigrad !even at one of the local banks where we managed to exchange the kunas we’d accumulated over the years ! there was no problem at all at the bank to exchange to euros! With no charge! Hotel was in a beautiful location a great walk into the town managed to do at least 10000 steps a day we so earnt a few beers and beautiful lunch in novigrad!Watch out for mosquitoes they really are out and about at the moment! As for the hotel the service was excellent! The restaurant never disappointed and the rooms were kept spotless ! Thankyou hotel maestral we will be back! A truly class holiday!!

We kregen een fantastische aanbieding inclusief diner, overnachting en ontbijt. We konden niet geloven dat het mogelijk was maar het klopte inderdaad. Eten en drinken genoeg maar je moet wel van een zeer nette “vreetschuur” houden. Voor de rest prima hotel, kamer niet groot maar wel met uitzicht en de douche is wat krapjes.

We're staying in the Grand Park hotel, where we always stay during our holidays. On Friday, we needed to see the vet for our cat, that we brought with us to the hotel, because she wasn't feeling well for the last 2 days and seemed like she was ill. We called the vet, and he told us to come to the clinic immediately but we only had ten minutes left, before they would close . We didn't know the way and we needed someone to drive us with our car to the clinic quickly. When we got to our car, we asked for help at the reception but no one took their time to help us, except Rikardo, who was very kind and helpful, as he was the only one to take his time to drive us there, ”saving us” in that stressful situation. When we arrived at the vet, he helped carry the cats cage to the waiting room, where he waited with my daughter until the cats examination was finished, then drove us back to the hotel. Fabulous hotel for our 4 night stay. This was our 2nd visit to the area. We stayed in the Eden previously which was lovely but busy in July. When we saw this hotel we vowed to try it next time. The hotel is very special. The only criticism we had were the bed sheets were not white, they had a green tinge which made them, in our opinion, seem old fashioned. To be fair, the very helpful receptionist said they would change them from one of the other hotels if we wanted but we weren’t that picky, just wanted to make sure we hadn’t got a ‘dodgy’ set. Lovely big room and huge bathroom with walk in shower. Water is replenished daily and great friendly housekeeping. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were amazing and tranquil with lovely views, all the usual buffet items plus many more healthy options than in other hotels. Lovely cooked items from the menu - the French toast was amazing! Cycling was free for this hotel and because the weather was not as great as we were hoping we cycled everywhere for 2 days which was great fun - the national park is amazing to explore. Many restaurants in town with so much choice and great food. Rovinj is our new go to place for a short break as it is so quick 1hr 50 from Gatwick. We love it and will definitely be back, thank you.

This place is amazing! There is so much to do for kids here but they have also thought of the adults too. Outdoors there are the multiple pools including a lazy river, a deeper pool where adults tend to go, a kids pool with slide and a shaded splash pool for toddlers. There are also multiple play areas outside, ping pong tables, volley ball net and large hotel grounds where you can use the scooters which can be hired for free from the kids area. Down at the beach they have a water sports centre, we hired a pedalo, kayak, paddle board and e-scooter and prices are reasonable. Indoors the blue net is amazing, there is a football table and the cinema has a floor projector so kids can play in there too. Cinema shows movies in different languages over the week and had 2 English movies whilst we were there. The game room was one of our favourite places to go, they have PC’s, switches, PS5’s and lots of games. The staff were always great in there (especially Borna) and over 8’s can get a pass to come and go on their own. We joined in with Mario kart tournaments, robot coding and remote control racing, there was lots of activities that can be booked. The kids club is great, it feels very secure and they have lots of activities only thing is they advertise certain activities but when we went they didn’t always do them. The room was great, enough space to live in and although we would have preferred a bath the shower was very powerful but tended to flood the floor. The peg board in the room kept us busy, great addition for kids to be amused whilst back at the room. Kettle and small tea station available in the room but no English tea included. Food wise they had a brilliant selection for every meal, we loved the smoothies that were freshly made at breakfast, the kids station provided chips, chicken nuggets etc and the food was of a great quality. We particularly loved the cat robot who would take your dirty plates away. The only issue we had as a family with allergies was that although they had signs out showing allergens they were not reliable. There would be signs missing, signs moved and signs not relating to the items there. We had some food that I would have guaranteed did not contain certain allergens but stated it did, there was items that did not state certain allergens but named them in the title of the food and some items would state allergens one day but the following day the same item would change signs and add or remove allergens. There was a sign stating to speak to staff regarding allergies which would have been good if it was a severe allergy but for many people this is not the case. The staff in the food area were so good, always clearing plates and cleaning tables. Drinks are available to buy but water, coke and juice were all free at meal times. Overall I would highly recommend this place, it’s an incredible experience for families.

We absolutely LOVED Hotel Spirito Santo!! In planning our holiday, I spoke with/emailed the hotel several times regarding our plans, arrival, etc., and they could not have been more helpful. The friendly, well-trained staff arranged to have a taxi meet us at the rental car drop-off when we arrived in Rovinj after a long day at Plitvice NP, and quickly got us checked in, taking our bags to our room while we sat in the airy, light-filled interior courtyard enjoying a welcome drink. The hotel is nestled in a quiet part of the Old Town, in a collection of buildings brilliantly renovated and cleverly designed to make the best use of the space, creating a charming overall effect, with exposed brick, open terraces and a lovely sense of place. Our room, Monte, was large and airy with views of the sea. The bed was made using high-quality linens on a excellent mattress and the bathroom set-up was well-thought-out, with fluffy towels and bathrobes, high-end bath products, a bidet and a heated towel bar. The hotel also provided beach towels. We had a little, private roof-top terrace that we entered via a small stairway through a retractable glass roof. The views were stunning, and it was a delightful place to enjoy an excellently prepared cocktail after a busy day of sightseeing and swimming. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean, and Tanya worked very hard to keep everyone happy with a beautiful breakfast buffet and eggs to order. The staff provided excellent concierge services, such as making touring and restaurant suggestions/reservations and arranging for a private car to drive us to Venice at the end of our stay. Rovinj and Hotel Spirito Santo were one of the highlights of our trip. NOTE: Due to its design and layout, the rooms are accessed via stairs, and the hotel has no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, contact the hotel before booking, as this may not be the place for you.
