"It’s a beautiful property! The room size was spectacular with 2 separated bedrooms, and the staff was very kind and welcoming. The only downside was the breakfast, which could offer more variety. The breakfast served in the room facing the canal was quite limited, so we ended up requesting to have breakfast in the chandelier room on our second day, which was a much better experience. Be prepared for some steps ;)"

ModouletianLocation: Very close to the Porta Venezia metro station, which offers convenient access to the Duomo and Santa Maria delle Grazie (where you can see 'The Last Supper'). It's a quiet area despite being central, with a food street nearby.
Facilities: For a European hotel, it's relatively new. While the amenities are on par with a budget hotel back home, it does have a decent-sized elevator.
Service: They offer 24-hour front desk service, and the staff's English is quite good.
Cleanliness: Overall, it's very clean.
A great choice among hotels in Milan! 👍

music11Being an Ibis hotel, part of the Accor group, the rooms are a bit small and the facilities show their age slightly, but for a budget hotel, it offers good value for money. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the tram is close, but the subway station is a bit inconveniently located. I booked this hotel because the 4-star hotels near Milano Centrale Station were too expensive on my travel dates, and it's pretty much what I expected. It's decent for a value-for-money hotel. Note that parking is limited as the lot is small, and it costs 20 Euros per day. Breakfast is a mediocre, not-so-great continental buffet.

Desmond975dFirst, the aircon is cold even in summer (we stayed on the top floor). The room size is big for European standards. Everything else (location, cleanliness, room condition, breakfast selection, food choices nearby) I am giving it 10/10 for its money. My only comment is that a room card is not required to get into the elevator. Everything else is perfect. Highly recommended.

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, right next to Milan Central Station, and the airport shuttle bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. My flight arrived in Milan after 1 AM, and I took the 2:30 AM bus directly to the hotel entrance. If you also have a late-night flight, I highly recommend staying here; it reduces walking and is much safer.

Guest UserRoom a lot smaller than what the picture suggests. Also the photos on trip is inaccurate. It showed a coffee machine in the room which is not the case so it did make one feel a little cheated. The hotel rain shower head is dirty and poorly maintained. The water jets out in all directions which tells you that it is in need of a clean. The hair dryer blows weak and has only one heat setting. It’s next to Milan Central so great for one night before heading to the airport. The staff is great and service is good though.

Checking In was easy and quick. The employees are all very friendly and capable. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Furthermore the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. A real highlight is the breakfast Buffet, where you can gorge yourself on a variety of cakes and pastries. Lastly, the subway station Loreto is very easy to reach on foot. All in all, very pleasant.

The hotel is new and the service is excellent. The staff speak many languages and you can store your luggage there. I checked in early in the morning, and after a quick call to confirm, it was fine. They gave me a really spacious room. I'd definitely choose this hotel again when I return. The only strange thing was that the shower water was cold, but overall it's a very modern place.

The only criticism I have is of the odd layout of the buffet breakfast - it’s in 3 separate places. No one explained to us how it worked and that the main part of the buffet was in a separate room which we didn’t discover until our final breakfast

anmqThe hotel is located in a residential area, slightly north of central Milan, which appears to be one of the city's less affluent neighborhoods. Right next to it, there's a large roundabout surprisingly overgrown with tall weeds! The buildings' bases are covered in graffiti, making the area look quite run-down.
There was a Black housekeeping staff member who seemed to lack proper housekeeping training. While cleaning our room, he took our personal glass, which was very different from the hotel's provided glassware, as well as a stainless steel cup and chopsticks that had no connection to the hotel whatsoever. When we returned to the room and noticed these items missing, we saw him still cleaning and immediately asked if he had thrown them away. He didn't evade the question at all; instead, he led me to the storage room and retrieved everything!
We ran into him at the subway station the next day. He was instantly recognizable – over 190cm tall and very thin. He greeted us in a very friendly manner.

Mercure Hotel is excellent! The room is spacious, the shower is great, and it's well-equipped. The area around the hotel feels safe, and you can walk to the supermarket.
