The hotel is relatively close to the subway station, which is convenient for getting around, but it's too far from central Tokyo, which is quite inconvenient, and you even have to exit the station for transfers. Because of its proximity to the station, I was worried about getting a good night's sleep, so I emailed the hotel before checking in to request a room on the university side. However, upon arrival, the front desk still assigned me a room on the station side. The train noise was very loud, so I went to the front desk to ask for a room change. One of the female front desk staff actually didn't know there was a university nearby; it was infuriating! I had to open my email to show them before they finally changed my room. The hot springs on the third floor of the hotel weren't crowded, but it was a bit inconvenient to have to bring towels from the room.
For us the hotel was grea and clean. Near the temple, close to the supermarket, 15min from the station on foot. Free shuttle bus provided, but you need to book 3 days in advance. First bus is at 5.30
The hotel is quite close to the airport, and the price is very reasonable, especially considering Tokyo's cost of living – it's a great deal! The room is a typical Japanese 'pigeonhole' – standard, nothing special to mention.
I bought a 6-day JR Pass, and since my flight was an early one on the seventh day, I decided to stay near the airport the night before. This saved me at least one short-haul fare to the airport.
There's an airport shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, which I only found out about when I was almost there. It's about a kilometer's walk, and you could easily go the wrong way, so it's important to check the shuttle bus location beforehand.
Breakfast was provided the next morning. Although simple, it's better than nothing. Not as good as Chinese breakfast, though.
The shuttle from the hotel to the airport was quick, but it made a few stops. If there are passengers with a lot of luggage, it can take a bit longer. It's always better to leave early than to be rushed.
The food selection was extensive, and the surroundings were beautiful. Our sea-view room was spacious, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing. After a good soak, a variety of refreshing drinks were available, making for an incredibly satisfying experience.
This is a beautiful hotel right on the waterfront.
It's also great that Kamogawa Sea World is within walking distance.
When we arrived at Awa-Kamogawa Station, we were greeted by a minibus, left our luggage, and headed directly to Kamogawa Sea World to watch the killer whale show. We were greeted with seawater by the killer whales, and both my husband and I got soaked! It felt amazing!
The building has moved from the former Yoshidaya to a location adjacent to Kamogawa Sea World. Before the move, it was a popular inn, but it has now been demolished and replaced by the modern Yoshidaya building.
In the basement of the current building, there is a memory museum that brings back memories, and it was a nostalgic experience.
There are many baths, including a large open-air bath, three bathtubs, and a sauna. Soaking in the open-air bath while looking out at the ocean and listening to the sounds of the waves was incredibly relaxing.
For breakfast and dinner, a buffet of Japanese and Western dishes is served, with so many options that families with children can enjoy, it's almost impossible to finish them all. The food was also cooked right in front of us, so we enjoyed it piping hot.
Kamogawa city has lost much of its former charm and feels a bit deserted, but there are still lots of surfers and it feels the same as it did in the past. The coffee shop is gone, but in its place there is a single konbi restaurant in front of the station.
I chose Kamogawa Grand Hotel and it was a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

We booked this hotel due to our flight was cancelled. It’s very affordable considering a free shuttle bus is provided to and fro Narita Airport Terminal 1-3. Also they provide free shuttle bus to the city train station. For approximate USD 50-60 / night I would say it’s a great bargain. Although the room I booked it’s kinda dated and looks all, the bed was comfy but the pillow kinda small in size and can be improved. Room service can be improved too as we waited for 30mins after our first call to request for an additional pillow and we needed to call again. There’s a bath tub which surprised me for the room cost. The hotel amenities are great and surroundings are zen and beautiful. Overall it’s a good stay and a great bargain for what I paid.
This was my fourth stay here, and every time has been excellent!
First off, the price is fantastic, which is the most important thing. Even on weekends, the rates aren't inflated much. Often, the Saturday-Sunday price isn't significantly higher, which is great – much better than those city hotels that double their prices on weekends.
Secondly, the hotel service is superb. The front desk staff are always welcoming, and there's always someone who speaks Chinese whenever I visit. This time, it was a kind Mr. Chen, who was incredibly helpful.
Thirdly, the hotel's amenities and services are simply perfect. I've traveled to Japan over a hundred times, and this is the only hotel I know that offers free luggage storage for up to 7 days. It's a lifesaver for shoppers! You can store your large bags, explore attractions for a couple of days, then come back to pick up your luggage before heading to the airport. Plus, the hotel shuttle service runs frequently, and the fact that it goes to AEON Mall is incredibly useful.
The hotel is conveniently located on the west side of Chiba Central Park, very close to the Yoshikawa Park monorail station. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Chiba-Chuo Station.
The room I had was only partially renovated, and the bathroom fixtures felt quite old-fashioned, though the bedding was decent. The room itself was pretty spacious, but not as large as stated on Trip.com; I'd estimate it to be around 20-22 square meters. It came with two single beds, two chairs, and a tea table.
Dining options nearby are plentiful, but if you're looking for shopping, I'd recommend SOGO and BIC CAMERA near Chiba-Chuo Station for a wider selection.
Breakfast is a buffet, costing 1980 JPY per person. It offers both Japanese and Western options, providing good value for money with a wide variety and tasty dishes. You can even try Chiba's local specialty, the Rakka Peanuts Monaka.
Nearby attractions include Chiba Port, Inohana Castle Ruins, and Kisarazu Outlet Park. Getting to Makuhari Messe is also quite convenient from here.
Had a great stay here and a wonderful overall experience. The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. I booked this hotel to relax for two days, and it was perfect for that. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they’re clean and comfortable. The location is a little far from the city, but the free hourly shuttle buses to both the airport and downtown definitely make up for it. The food in the restaurants is good, and the hotel also has a gym and spa, which is great.
Didn't enjoy my stay here due to the poor sound proofing. I could hear my neighbours in the middle of the night for both nights I was there (up to 1am and 3am respectively). Had to call the front desk to stop but it didn't help. People were laughing loudly and talking loudly in Japanese. Seems like they gathering there for some party.
Breakfast was really bad too. This is the worst hotel breakfast I ever had. Only the view (21F sky lounge venue) was nice. Don't pay extra for this.
Room is quite run down and the toilet bathroom as well. Didn't use it but go to the onsen instead.
Parking is 1000yen per night and you are allowed to enter and exit many times.
Pros:
Next building there's a Donki and lawson
Opp is a 7-11
Onsen is nice
Very Good

JJW_MSpacious room ! reason for that ? It’s an airport hotel, that’s why. Overall satisfied.
There’s a tax free shop in the hotel, but it doesn’t operate 24hrs. Hotel will provide free shutter bus to airport, nearest metro and a big Aeon Mall.
Amenities wise is fine. Service is great too
MMeimaoheituziOur stay at the Tokyo Bay Oriental Hotel was absolutely fantastic – it truly felt like the perfect base for our Disneyland trip! As an official Disney partner hotel, their free shuttle service was incredibly convenient. Shuttles ran frequently, saving us the hassle of navigating complicated subway transfers. We just hopped on right outside the hotel, and in about 15 minutes, we were directly at the park gates. This was especially great for getting to early entry, avoiding the crowded trains and instantly improving our mood with that exclusive feeling.
The hotel's location is also superb, right next to an AEON supermarket, which was a lifesaver for us tourists. The supermarket had an amazing selection of groceries and snacks. We'd grab sushi and bento boxes in the evening, which saved us money and was super convenient to bring into the park the next day. Plus, there were other malls and drugstores nearby, so food and shopping were never an issue.
What I absolutely can't stop thinking about is the complimentary snack bar on the hotel's 2nd floor, open from 2 PM to 11 PM. It was pure joy! While there were many drinks and snacks, the honey scones were the absolute highlight – freshly baked, incredibly fragrant, sweet but not cloying. Paired with free ice cream and coffee, spending an afternoon there was just delightful. This stay perfectly sorted out both our dining and transportation needs. Next time we visit Tokyo Disney, we'll definitely choose this hotel again without hesitation. Highly recommend!
__WeChat27971****The hotel's location is very close to the airport, easily accessible by bus. It's clean and tidy, perfect for a one-night business trip. There's a direct path connecting the hotel to the hot springs, so it was a real treat to relax there after a long, tiring day.

SsunnyThis hotel is really close to Disneyland, and having the shuttle service makes it super convenient! The breakfast was also quite substantial. I hadn't originally planned on going to Disneyland, but since I was here, I decided to check it out, and it was actually pretty good! A big thanks to the previous reviewer too – that picture with the shuttle return times was incredibly helpful!

YyouyuguitarThe hotel is a bit far from the subway station, but they offer a free shuttle service to both the subway and Disney, running until 10 PM. The drop-off point at Disney isn't too far from the park entrance. There's also a large park right next to the hotel, perfect for a stroll. A small convenience store is located downstairs in the neighboring hotel. You can walk to a shopping mall and a large supermarket in about 15 minutes from the hotel. If you're driving, parking is 1800 yen per night in an outdoor lot.
The room size is decent, and the bed is very comfortable, though the pillow wasn't quite to my liking. It was clean, and the Wi-Fi was stable.
FfyukmingIt is located very closely to Tokyo DisneySea and Maihama train station. You can walk to Tokyo DisneySea or Maihama station in 10 minutes. Staying this hotel allows you to sleep a bit more and wake up a bit late before going to the entrance of Tokyo DisneySea to join the queue to enter DisneySea at 06:30-07:00 in the early morning. It is not close to Tokyo Disneyland so, if you are going to Disneyland, you have to take the monorail or taxi. The rooms we stayed in were spacious and clean. We love that they have two types of pillows already placed on the beds for our selection - one is soft and rectangular (the common one) and the other one is harder and shaped to support your neck.
