GGuest UserThe hotel is situated on the shores of Lake Baikal, offering views of the lake right from the doorstep—a fantastic location. It's also not far from Ryukyu town, just a ten-minute taxi ride away. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, speaking English and even using her own phone number to connect us to the Wi-Fi. The hotel dinner was also excellent, and she was very patient during our communication. Highly recommended.
The room was very clean, and included a kettle, hairdryer, and wardrobe—very welcoming for Chinese guests.

It is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city on foot. While the rooms are a bit compact, they are fully equipped with amenities.

GGuest UserGreat hotel! A special thanks to the staff – they're incredibly helpful and go out of their way to solve any issue, even the most unusual ones. The rooms are very clean and have all the standard necessities. The food is delicious, hats off to them! The breakfast is a fresh and varied buffet. We've stayed in many places, so we know what we're talking about!

ВВалентина П.We stayed twice (October 6, 2025 and October 17, 2025). The location is excellent—close to the airport and no road noise. Wonderful, helpful staff—from reception to room service from the restaurant. The breakfasts are wonderful, in a cozy restaurant. The food at the Okhotnikov restaurant is a whole other story! Huge portions, delicious food...and, for especially picky little guests, they even prepare porridge, mashed potatoes, and salad. 🙏 I'm very grateful to the staff! Any request I make by calling reception is fulfilled immediately, without long waits—both from the maid and from the restaurant. Thank you for your work! I won't look for other options anymore; we will only stay at Zvezda. 🫶🏻

RRamnit_virusA pretty decent hotel, with a hearty buffet breakfast. However, there's room for improvement; a modern renovation would be great, and the kitchen could work on serving all hot dishes warm. The front desk staff was excellent during check-in – the lady was super efficient, and we had no issues. We didn't use any other services as we only stayed for one night.

GGeorge（1）The location is pretty good, but the room booked through Ctrip this time was a bit small!
（2）Of the several front desk staff I encountered, only one spoke English on a particular day, so I had to rely on a translation app. Although communication was slow, they were all very patient, which I appreciate!
（3）Perhaps because my room was at the end of the hallway, the Wi-Fi signal was incredibly poor!
（4）Breakfast can be ordered upon arrival at the hotel using a QR code, and there are many options. I stayed for 3 days and felt that the overall meal service was slow and a bit chaotic. One morning, they seemed to say they were short on ingredients, and the meal wasn't fully served. Another day, the meal served was different from what I had reserved. @_@ Given that reservations are possible, these issues are a bit awkward.

HHUIJEONG LEEThe staff are friendly and the place is clean. The service is also great. Today was the hotel's 9th anniversary, so they provided complimentary champagne and fruits. I stayed for 4 nights this time, and I definitely want to come back again.

MMuggleCExcellent! The front desk staff speaks Chinese, which is very helpful. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the location is fantastic, right across from Lake Baikal. It has two buildings, a main building and an annex. You can still catch a glimpse of Lake Baikal from the annex as well.

GGuest UserThe room was incredibly clean, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was absolutely fantastic and perfectly suited our tastes – we ate there for several days straight! The souvenirs next to the front desk were very well-designed and unique compared to what you find downtown; we were really happy with our purchases. The front desk staff even proactively offered us a weighing scale when they saw us packing our luggage, which allowed us to pack with peace of mind. This is truly a wonderful hotel, and if we ever get the chance to visit Irkutsk again, we'll definitely come back!
