Very good resort. Facilities are top quality and well-maintained. Food was very yummy, although breakfast could offer more variety for a 5-star hotel (e.g. there was no smoked salmon for breakfast - I consider salmon to be standard at 5-star hotels catering to international clientele). Staff are well-trained and very professional. The resort also offers spa services as well as tour bookings, but we did not avail of these. For our travel dates the all-inclusive package on trip.com was by far the best value for money compared to booking directly or through any other website. One potential area for improvement is the provision of a mini rack on the balcony/veranda where guests can hang up wet clothes after a tour - would be a nice thing, which I've seen at some other resorts, as some guests just want their clothes to dry, not necessarily washed.

It’s a beautiful place with the best beach in the whole Nungwi, you’ll get all you need there for unforgettable vacation! I was obsessed with a beach, sand, fruit, stuff and everything! Me and my family enjoyed the service for a good price. My sister was ill while been there, so Mr. Arshad on the reception took care of her and brought us everything he could and even more. Thank you for your empathy and best provided service everrr! My recommendation 👍👍👍

Tutto perfetto, non me lo aspettavo… molto pulito letti comodi e le stanze sono bellissime non come nelle foto perché hanno ristrutturato… lettini in spiaggia comodi, asciugamani sempre pulite, cibo al ristorante ottimo.. lo consiglio mi è piaciuto tanto.

My friend and I had a lovey time at this resort. They have lots of activities planned and will help you with excisions, etc. The rooms are gorgeous and the spa in particular was great - highly recommend! While some menu items are maybe 4 stars, not 5, there are some gems on the menu as well - the lamb shanks are fantastic. I do wish the pool was open beyond 7pm.

One of the best hotel I ever stayed , the reception was very helpful, Gertrude receptionist helped me and my family to get anything we needed , all inclusive service was superb , what a hotel , special live band by the beach was another bonus to me and my family , highly recommend this hotel , it is a we’ll deserved 5 star hotel

Me and my husband stayed at The Mora for 5 nights as a second part of our trip in Tanzania and Zanzibar. Started off to a rocky start, we acknowledged we arrived to the hotel early as our flight from mainland Tanzania into Zanzibar was at 6am, and we was happy to relax and chill out in the lobby until check-in time. Our check-in time was 2pm but apparently the guests that were staying in our suite 'went missing' according to staff, so we actually did not get checked-in to our room until around 2:45pm. By this time, we were exhausted and quite irritable. The reception staff were very attentive to make sure we were ok and to keep us updated. Once we got to the room, it seemed to have been prepared for us in a rush. It was clean, but there was no shampoo in the bathroom and the minibar had no drinks. We had to chase up twice in an hour to get some drinks in. As for the room, we stayed in the Superior Suite Ocean View with jacuzzi. For the most part it was a lovely room, the only downside was the shower. It had orange mould in the corners and the shower floor tiles did not look like they had been cleaned properly. There was also an awful stench coming from the drain within the shower, we had to move one of the room diffusers into there as it was unbearable. For a 5* hotel, this is quite unacceptable. It would be nice if there was more shelf space in the shower too. Housekeeping were very pleasant and always said ”Jambo” in the morning which was lovely. However, I don't think they are doing an adequate job of actually cleaning the rooms. A lot of the days our room wasn't even mopped and you could see the dirt from our shoes on the floor from the day before. Often our room would be serviced but no towels would be left for us which was a little bit annoying, especially after returning from a day by the pool. The pool and beach areas are really nice, we didn't have issues with finding a sunbed, and members of staff were always there to assist if it was busy. Sometimes service for beverages or water was a little bit slow and we had to approach the bar to order but this was not a massive issue for us. Occasionally, towels for the poolside had run out by 10:30am and sometimes we would be waiting a significant amount of time for fresh ones to be brought out. The beach is nice and clean and the diving excursion to Mnemba Island was a lot of fun, Suleman was a great snorkelling guide. Because our check-in was delayed, we could not book our food in advance via the app. This system is awful. Its extremely stressful to rush to book your slots. To our horror, we saw there was no availability for our whole stay in any of the hotel restaurants. My husband approached reception and spoke to Anna who was extremely helpful for the duration of our stay. Anna made our stay very personable and managed to help us book slots in the restaurants. She constantly checked up on us which really nice and also left us a lovely note in our room on our anniversary. We was also re

We were warmly greeted by the staff at the entrance. I had booked a deluxe room and had arrived early, would have appreciated an early checkin but the room wasn’t ready so meanwhile I explored the resort amenities. It has a private beach with a mini golf area and a bar alongside. The staff is friendly but most of the staff is new, a bit slow but they get you what you need. Maybe that’s how they’re wired, I’m unsure but they were kind. Pictures don’t do enough justice to this property. It’s massive, beautiful interiors with high end quality products. Loved the spa, felt so rejuvenated and I loved their bathing product line, the shower gels, etc. It’s ace quality. Food was good. They had live performance that got everyone on flood. It’s one of the best properties I’ve stayed at.

5 étoiles pour l’emplacement, tout juste 4 pour le reste. Hôtel d’apparence magnifique, bien situé, magnifique piscine, belle jetée et les petits îlots pour les chambres sont assez sympa. Pour les chambres c’est une autre histoire, c’était peut être un 5 étoiles il y’a 10 ans mais plus aujourd’hui. Mobilier tachée et usager, idem pour la literie, propreté moyenne. Globalement ça mériterait une grosse rénovation pour retrouver 5 étoiles. Nous avons dû demander à changer de chambre… Nourriture moyenne mais correcte, un gros plus pour le restaurant the Jetty dont les plats sont simplement excellents. Bref, en résumé le rapport qualité prix est très moyen, si vous avez ce genre de budget, prenez un autre 5*, sinon payez moins cher et prenez un beau 4* à moitié prix.

Мы провели в данном уютном отеле 3 незабываемых недели! И у нас ни разу не возникло сомнений в правильности нашего выбора, ведь здесь мы получили всё, что необходимо для отдыха! Завтраки очень сытные, разнообразные, всегда есть свежие фрукты и сок. Персонал внимателен к постояльцам. Уборка номеров ежедневная, девочки очень стараются, поэтому в номере очень чисто! Сами номера большие, просторные, светлые, очень удобные кровати, высыпались как следует. В номере есть чайник, холодильник, сейф, бойлер. Очень большой балкон, на котором можно поставить шезлонг и спать там ночью) Шумоизоляция номеров отличная, ни разу не слышали соседей. Территория отеля небольшая, но ухоженная, растет маракуйя (плетется как виноград). Бассейн глубокий, можно смело нырять, чистят каждый день. Вай-фай работает стабильно, на всей территории. Владельцы отеля каждый день следят за порядком и благополучием гостей, очень внимательные и заботливые. Благодаря такой душевной обстановке уезжать было грустно! Спасибо всем сотрудникам отеля за заботу, внимание и помощь!

We stayed here for 8 days. The property is aging and trying to maintain its charm. The staff are generally friendly and trying to elevate the guest experience. However, our stay was less than stellar missing the mark for what we have come to expect at a Hilton property. The beach vendors are extremely aggressive and not deterred by the security, several bartenders are working deals to reduce bar tabs in favor of their personal tips, and hot water in the shower was unreliable - varied morning to evening with no determined pattern or schedule. The menu at the property was also a disappointment. It was the same menu at the various places to order food, and the supply chain seemed to suffer while we were there and menu items became unavailable while the remaining food quality diminished daily over the course of our stay. We actually opted to leave the property and eat elsewhere toward the end of the week. Beyond these issues, the lack of ability for the property staff to provide change was a constant issue. Everything on the property is tip based and local ATM and banks only distribute larger bills in local currency. This limits our desire to tip, or leave us overtipping with the available bills we could acquire. The property seemed to have no ability or desire to assist us as guests, just hoping we would use larger bills. Overall, we are disappointed with Hilton and would not recommend to stay at this property.

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine dans cet hôtel et sincèrement ce fut ma meilleure expérience. J’ai fait énormément d’hôtel dans plusieurs pays et celui restaura mon préféré. C’est un hôtel à taille humaine dont le personnel et le propriétaire prennent vraiment soin de leurs clients et cela quelque soit l’heure du jour ou de la nuit. Ils sont toujours pleins d’attention. Il n’y a aucun problème de sécurité, vous pouvez laisser vos affaires sans aucun risque. La nourriture est bonne, la piscine agréable, et l’hôtel bien situé pas loin de la plage et des magasins ainsi que de tous les restaurants. La wifi est super, les chambres ainsi que tout l’hôtel est d’une propreté remarquable. Je remercie particulièrement Monsieur ALI pour nous avoir accueilli et pris soin de rendre agréable notre séjour, ainsi que son équipe MWINYI ET MWANTAMA, EMMACULETA, RAJAB (et ses super pancakes), HASSAN, ABDULRAHMAN, et tous les autres que je n’ai pas cité. Das My Blue Hotel ist sehr schön und sauber. Der Pool ist das absolute Highlight. Aus dem Pool aus kann man den Sonnenuntergang super genießen. Am Strand gab es immer viele freie Liegen, so dass man zu jeder Uhrzeit eine Platzauswahl hatte. Das Personal hat täglich Kokosnüsse am Strand verteilt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Essen lecker und Frisch, Abendprogramm war abwechslungsreich, ein sehr sauberes Hotel. Wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen. Die Lage sowie der Strand sind super. Im Hotel werden Massagen angeboten zu einem guten Preis. Wir haben den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genossen. Das Internet war allerdings meist schlecht. Im Zimmer kaum Empfang. Dies hat Verbesserungspotenzial.

Initially, locating Maisha Nungwi posed a small challenge, as it's sometimes confused with its previous name. However, the check-in process was remarkably smooth, and we were pleasantly surprised to access our rooms earlier than anticipated. One hiccup during check-in was the government tax requirement, which at $4 per person per night, can add up for families staying a week. Nevertheless, the staff graciously assisted with our luggage and ushered us to our room, adorned with delightful floral decorations. Daily room service ensured cleanliness, though the limited hot water supply might inconvenience some guests, albeit it didn't bother me much. The culinary experience, unfortunately, was underwhelming. Despite fresh fruit and juice at breakfast, the lack of seasoning and the malfunctioning salt and pepper shakers were disappointing. The repetitive menu may prompt guests to explore dining options beyond the hotel. On the bright side, Maisha Nungwi boasts aesthetically pleasing surroundings and excellent amenities, including two pools and a commendable massage service. The friendly and accommodating staff further enhanced our stay. However, the hotel's feline inhabitants, while adorable, can be intrusive, often interrupting meals by jumping on tables or chairs. In conclusion, Maisha Nungwi is more suited to adults seeking exploration beyond the hotel's dining options. For those willing to venture out and discover local eateries, this hotel offers a pleasant stay with comfortable accommodations and attentive staff.

We stayed at the Kena Beach hotel between December 19 and 29, 2023. The hotel and the garden are very beautiful, clean and well maintained. The rooms are large and offer all the conditions. The staff is very friendly and well trained. We also celebrated Christmas at this hotel. Everything was wonderful and well organized by the hotel manager. Everyone was wonderful but Elizabeth, George, Grace, Ramadhani and Khalfan made our holiday perfect. The food was very good and very carefully prepared by the chef. We had many fruits and delicious sweets prepared by Chef. The service was impeccable. Also the recreational activities were great thanks to Kani and Momo from Oclub, who were sensational. The hotel's private beach is wonderful, supervised and well maintained by the hotel staff. Mr. Kombo, who lives right in Matemwe village, organized some memorable trips for us. We want to return to Zanzibar and obviously, we will spend our vacation at this hotel again. We recommend the hotel to everyone who wants a perfect and peaceful vacation.

If you are choosing a place to enjoy your holidays, getting away from crowd and enjoy peaceful moments, it’s definitely a right place for you. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Food in hotel restaurant is excellent, they offer different menu for lunch and dinner. Verify options for breakfast buffet, you will never feel bored for their food. Hotel offers yoga class on the morning daily except Sunday. Family or solo can also start with a “ Good morning “. There is a swimming pool, small gym room, different ball games for visitors to chill. Hotel is also connected with different Partners, no need to worry about the day trip prior arrival. They can plan everything for you including stone town visit, prison island , snorkelling. We just enjoy our time during our stay.

The hotel is so quiet, right on the beach, with a beautiful traditional architecture. Looks like a lodge, but feel like a 4 stars hotel. We had half board and the food of the restaurant is really amazing. Every evening we could choose from the daily set menu of fresh food. Vegeterian options were always available. The breakfast choices are great as well. The vibe of this place is so peaceful, the terrace with the view on the beach, the 2 swimming pools are nested in an amawing garden, very well maintained. Finally, the rooms are very spacious and the staff super professional. I came here with my family, will definitely come back with my partner in the future.

I would like to share my experience at Zoi Boutique hotel. I went with me friend and it was really great stay there. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Especially Nice on the front desk. She was extremely professional and supportive. We were facing some inconvenience but she solved on the spot and made our stay so comfortable and unforgettable. We really enjoyed and had a great time there. Highly recommend this hotel as a great option to stay! - amazing staff - great food (fresh bakery every morning :)) - Ocean view (unbelievable sunrise) - 2 nice pools
