Hotel Dengan Pools di Canterbury, New Zealand

It was my first time staying at a doubletree and was so surprised with the cookie on arrival! The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet was also well replenished. Will definitely come back.

A warm and spacious place to stay at Mantra Lake Tekapo 🤍 We really enjoyed our stay here, and it’s conveniently located just behind the Church of the Good Shepherd. ✨ We spent the evening cooking, relaxing, and enjoying the cozy atmosphere of this lovely home!

The hotel is fairly centrally located (about a 15 minute walk), but at the same time in a quiet area. The room was huge, for lack of a better term - it's basically a lounge, a twin room and a double room. Not sure if that's actually the room I booked or an upgrade. At any rate, it was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The outer design is also very nice. There's also afternoon tea for free from 15:30 till 16:30. The price is not particularly low, but all things considered it's value for money (only 25-30% more expensive than a private room in a hostel), especially if more than one person is staying. All in all, a great option, if your budget allows it.

非常棒的民宿，主人家準備的非常周到。房子乾淨整潔，設施也很完善。位置離機場就十幾分鍾車程，非常近，但是幾乎聽不到噪音。早餐很豐富，蛋糕也非常好吃。關鍵是床和被子都很舒服，真的是在這裏睡了一個難得的好覺。下次來基督城的話一定還會住這家。 Everything is perfect in this place. It's just ten mins drove to the airport but you can bearly hear the noise in the house. Everything in the house is clean, tidy and very much home alike. The breakfast was well prepared and the cakes were just delicious. Above all, the bed and duvet was sooooo comfortable that I had the best sleep in my whole trip! I would definitely stay here if I came to Christchurch again!

Lovely little cabin with a brilliant view of the mountains. One problem is that unless you book an en-suite you have to walk about 100m in the freezing cold to go to the loo, and the cabin that I stayed in didn’t have any central heating only a small useless radiator. This meant I had to sleep in my clothes as it was freezing!! Also no pots or pan or cutlery or even plates provided so you’ll have to eat out unless you bring your own.

The hotel was excellent. Drinks in the bar were good with great views out to sea. Dinner menu was very good. The seafood fettuccine was lovely. The room was spacious and very clean however for a 5 star hotel we were surprised to find there were no complimentary bottles of water in the room. We enjoyed our overnight stay so much that we decided to pay for breakfast the following morning. There was the usual selection of breakfast options that you'd expect to find. The bircher muesli was particularly good. We were a little disappointed to find coffee was served from an urn and not from a dedicated coffee machine. However if you wanted to pay extra at the bar you could order a decent coffee.

新西蘭百年建築公寓，高性價比的驚艷之選！ 總體評價：⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 這次在新西蘭的住宿體驗非常超預期，分享幾個真實感受供大家參考： * 歷史與美學的碰撞： 酒店由一座百年歷史建築改建而成，非常有韻味！無論是外立面的修繕還是室內的裝潢，都保留了濃厚的年代感與氛圍感，隨手一拍都是大片。對於喜歡復古風、歷史感建築的朋友來説，簡直是視覺享受。 * 空間佈局絕佳： 我們四個人入住，房間面積非常寬敞，完全沒有壓抑感。最讚的是那個大廚房和公共休息區，設備齊全，晚上聚在一起聊天做飯非常舒心。卧室面積也很大，床鋪舒適度很高。 * 地理位置與性價比： 地理位置相當不錯，出行非常便利。最驚艷的是價格，人均分攤下來也就 400-500 元人民幣左右。在新西蘭能以這個價格住到設計感這麼強的公寓，性價比真的無敵。 * 特別提醒（熱水問題）： 由於是老建築改建，熱水系統可能是老式的儲水式，熱水總量有限。我們四個人連續洗澡，到第四個人時熱水就不太夠了。不過解決辦法也很簡單：大家錯開時間洗澡，或者可以像我們一樣借用酒店健身房的洗手間，那裡的熱水供應很充足。 總結：雖然熱水稍有侷限，但瑕不掩瑜。這種住在“歷史博物館”裏的體驗非常難得，強烈推薦給追求格調和性價比的旅行者！

Convenient location near the airport. Has a bus stop in front of the hotel with busses to Christchurch city center. Great service and friendly staff who walk us to the room as there are several wings in the compound. The room is spacious although it is slightly dated.
