Hotel Dengan Pools di Canterbury, New Zealand

Enjoyed our stay here, great location as everything was in walking distance. Nice comfy bed and breakfast had a good selection. The room was a little dark with only lamps available. Would happily return in the future.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. Compared to other Hilton properties, the bed here was noticeably larger and more comfortable. I stayed in a twin room, and each bed was around 1.2 to 1.5 meters wide, whereas other hotels only offered very narrow single beds (about 0.9 meters). There was also plenty of space between the beds, which made the room feel much more comfortable. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also decent, making it a very convenient and pleasant place to stay overall. I would highly recommend this hotel — especially if you’re looking for a comfortable and restful experience.

Great location and beautifully presented! Lovely food and friendly staff. Pool was small but lovely to swim in. Beds were like sleeping on clouds that love you. Bathroom Was lush, but two fancy bottles - hand cream/body lotion and body wash - were completely empty and not refilled in time for our departure. We felt that was a bit of an oversight.

I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting this to be a 5 star place, but there were a lot of things that were definitely not 5 stars. The robes were grey and didn't cover bigger people. One of them had pilling all over it, I didn't want to even wear it. The bathroom door squeaked loudly, so if one person got up to the toilet in the middle of the night, it woke the other person up. There were instructions on how to use the spa bath, but not on how to put the plug in. It didn't just plug in normally. We weren't able to use it on our first night which was very frustrating as it was one of our main attractions. I rang housekeeping the next day. Someone came and had a look and said that you had to turn a know on the side of the spa, how would anyone know that? The lock on the door to outside was broken and a small slide lock had been put on. Why not fix the main lock? I used the toilets to the side of the library and when I washed my hands, the tap was all loose and wobbled round. All these things are little but show that the lodge needs to have things fixed or updated. For $300 per night, you expect the best. The worse thing was on our last morning, we got to breakfast about 8:45, the restaurant closes at 9:30 am. There was continental and scrambled eggs and bacon. At about 9:00 am they stopped bringing out anymore bread to toast. No more croissants, eggs or bacon were brought out. There were about 6 tables with guests and everyone kept going up and checking, but they didn't refill. People were saying, they must have run out of food! But for some reason the waiter kept lifting the lids to the egg and bacon to see what was in there, but of course there was nothing as he hadn't refilled it and he was the only waiter!! I was really disappointed and wouldn't recommend it, unless you are getting a really good discount.

I had a fantastic stay at Christchurch Tasman Holiday Park! The location is perfect — close enough to the city for convenience, yet peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The grounds are well-maintained, clean, and spacious, making it ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers. The facilities are excellent, with modern amenities including clean bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens, and comfortable communal areas. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and the variety of accommodation options available, from powered sites to cozy cabins. Highly recommend this holiday park for anyone visiting Christchurch

I really enjoyed staying at Dusky Lodge. Friendly staff , cosy room , nice communal areas and the bonus of a spa pool . Excellent value.

這是此次新西蘭行程中一家超預期的酒店，價格最低，雙卧套房2900不到兩晚。沒想到房間那麼大，複式套房層高非常高，一樓是客廳廚房和一個客衞，兩個卧室在二樓，大床房帶衞生間有浴缸。洗衣機烘乾機在一樓衞生間，是淋浴房設計。廚房很大，需要自備調味料，茶包給得很多還有一盒牛奶。房間不大但很舒服，沒有空調用的是取暖器，很暖和。有電熱毛巾架，每天會打掃更換毛巾。洗澡水超級大，能把人沖走的程度。位置絕佳，離購物區很近，兩大超市都在步行十五分鐘內，適合非自駕，距離機場車程十五分鐘左右，打車45塊（大型行李車）。

房間裝修非常新，有進門口一排平房，對着小花園這邊是兩層樓房。床很舒服。是我們住的裝修最好的一家motel。唯一缺點就是房間內有怪味，不衹是裝修味還是什麼，夜晚去衞生間差點窒息。建議房東多通風除味。對面就是ashburton domain 公園，很大的小童playground，孩子超喜歡。kmart 綜合商場，new world 、countdown 超市都很近。

Very good in all aspects. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Nice and cozy place to be.
