Our dedicated guest butler, Lisa, was so gentle and attentive, taking care of every detail of our itinerary and patiently responding to all our needs. Her thoughtful and thorough service truly reflected the exclusive quality of a high-end hotel. The hotel's location is superb, situated in the bustling Tayuan Road area and right next to a subway station. This made it easy to visit classic Suzhou attractions like Pingjiang Road and immerse ourselves in the gentle summer scenery of Jiangnan. The commercial area downstairs is well-equipped with everything you need, so we could shop and eat whenever we returned from sightseeing, which was incredibly convenient and stress-free. The room we stayed in was bright and spacious, with plenty of natural light filling the entire space and expansive, quiet views. The independent three-part bathroom design was both scientific and user-friendly, with a clean and tidy wet/dry separation, allowing parents and children to get ready without disturbing each other. It balanced practicality with safety, perfectly meeting the needs of families with children. The hotel breakfast offered a rich and thoughtfully curated selection, blending local Suzhou flavors with diverse Western dishes. The authentic Jiangnan specialty snacks were fresh and delicious, and the dedicated children's dining area had a variety of exquisite and cute options made with fresh, healthy ingredients that suited children's tastes. It was a perfect, immersive stay—comfortable and healing. Next time I visit Suzhou with my child, this will definitely be my first choice again.

Wyndham Garden Suzhou **Facilities:** This hotel, renovated and opened in 2006, definitely shows its age in terms of facilities and decor. However, the grand lobby, spacious parking lot, and large accommodation corridors with an atrium… twenty years ago, this would have been considered excellent. **Service:** All staff wear suits and uniforms and are very polite. After 20 years, the service quality is still top-notch. **Location:** Everything is within walking distance. It's about a 10-minute walk to Xuanmiao Temple and less than 15 minutes to the entrance of Pingjiang Road. **Room Condition:** The facilities are old, but it's very clean. Details like the spotless bathroom, complimentary umbrella, and the neatly folded start of the toilet paper roll (easy to access) all speak to the level of service and management. I even took a close-up photo of the bathroom floor tiles – the cleanliness is evident. Before checking into this hotel, I saw quite a few negative reviews, and the fear of a bad experience lingered. However, the hotel's excellent location was too hard to pass up, so I decided to give it a try. **Overall:** The facilities are outdated, but the service hasn't dropped. It's suitable for travelers who don't seek luxury accommodation. I sincerely hope the hotel gets a renovation soon to welcome guests with a fresh new look.

I've stayed at InterContinental Jinji Lake many times, and this time I chose it again. If I had to give a reason, it's simply because I feel comfortable and familiar with it. It was peak summer holiday season and a Saturday, so the hotel was very busy. Our room wasn't ready even by 3:30 PM. After a phone call, the front desk agent promptly upgraded our room, and I'm very grateful for that! Although the hotel is a bit older, both the public areas and the rooms are very well-maintained and don't show their age at all. We stayed in a suite, which was very spacious and incredibly comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows in both the living room and bedroom offered direct, first-rate views of Jinji Lake and the Ferris wheel. The dining experience at Jinhaixuan Restaurant on the 27th floor was excellent, with fantastic outdoor views and delicious dishes. The breakfast buffet quality was still great. My only minor regret this time was that, apart from the host, no one asked if I wanted tea or coffee. Perhaps they were too busy with all the guests and overlooked it? Overall, for me, the minor flaws don't detract from the overall excellent experience. I'll definitely choose to stay at InterContinental again next time I'm in Jinji Lake.

My friend and I stayed at the Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Suzhou on Jinji Lake, and it far exceeded our expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, close to Jinji Lake with stunning night views. It's both quiet and luxurious. We stayed in a Classic View Twin Room—the Camphor Garden Secret Realm. The room was spacious and bright, with a stylish design. The two beds were very comfortable, and the view from the window was quite therapeutic. The hygiene details were meticulously handled, making the entire room clean and fresh. The service was warm and attentive; check-in at the front desk was efficient, and they answered all our questions. The facilities are complete and of high quality. It's a perfect place to stay with friends, and it's very photogenic. A stroll by the lake in the evening was very pleasant. Overall, it exceeded expectations and is highly recommended. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Suzhou!

The package price on Trip.com was really a great deal. We booked it in advance for our 24th anniversary and stayed for two nights. We happened to be there during a typhoon, so it rained constantly, but thankfully the hotel had everything we needed for food, drinks, and entertainment, so we weren't bored staying indoors. On the first day, we checked into the 'Captain's Suite' on the sixth floor. The facilities were a bit old, but the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views. The bedding felt a little damp. On the second day, the rain was so heavy that water seeped into the room from the deck area. The hotel upgraded us to the 'Navigator Grand Suite' on the eighth floor. The facilities there were newer and well-equipped, making for a much more comfortable stay than the 'Captain's Suite', and the bedding was dry. The breakfast on the first floor was packed every morning, and the variety of dishes was quite good, appealing to most palates. We also checked out the afternoon tea at the lobby lounge. It was beautifully presented, but the cakes weren't very tasty. It was good for taking photos and passing the time, though. The executive lounge on the seventh floor only offered soft drinks and alcohol during the day. However, during dinner hours, there were hot dishes, snacks, and cakes, although the selection wasn't extensive. Overall, the hotel is a flagship Crown Plaza, so it's quite large and has a clear locational advantage. It's just a bit older now, which is to be expected given its age.

Overall experience: For my trip to Suzhou, I stayed at the Licheng Courtyard Hotel - Shantang Street Garden Branch. The hotel itself boasts a beautiful Suzhou-style private garden with pavilions, corridors, small courtyards, and lush greenery, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast buffet was rich and varied. My room was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, just a 5-8 minute walk to the ancient Shantang Street, and very close to Changmen Gate and Shilu business district. It's also incredibly convenient for visiting Beisi Pagoda, Pingjiang Road, and the Humble Administrator's Garden, making sightseeing effortless. Transportation: Upon arriving at Suzhou Station, I opted for the atmospheric waterway entrance: I took the West Line water bus from the south square ferry terminal at Suzhou Railway Station. The boat trip through the moat took 15 minutes directly to Shantang Street North Pier. Disembarking, I was right on the thousand-year-old Shantang ancient street, an immersive start to my江南水乡 (Jiangnan water town) journey. The video shows the hotel lobby. Facilities: Quite new. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Elegant. Dining recommendations (both located in the Shantang Street area): 1. Lunch stop | Panda Hotpot (Shantang Street Branch) This is a unique hotpot restaurant near the scenic area. The Suzhou-style fish soup base is fresh, fragrant, and rich (the tomato broth is also quite浓郁). They also offer special Gusu-style covered-bowl blind box side dishes. It's a great spot to satisfy cravings and warm up after exploring. 2. Dinner choice | Gusu Boat Feast · Shantang River View Suzhou Cuisine The window seats offer direct views of Shantang River at night, allowing you to enjoy the water town's lights while savoring authentic Suzhou cuisine. The Squirrel-shaped Mandarin Fish and Osmanthus Braised Pork are genuinely authentic. What's more, noodles and rice are refilled for free, and the noodles are scallion oil noodles! There's absolutely no worry about not getting enough to eat with Jiangnan dishes, and this is in a scenic area! The overall experience is outstanding, especially with the window open on the second floor, which is particularly beautiful. It's definitely worth a special visit.

The food near the hotel, especially the chicken wontons, was surprisingly good – I'll definitely be having them again next time! The service was also great, and they even have a shuttle bus.

We specifically chose this established hotel for our trip, and it was definitely the right decision. There's no flashy design; it focuses on comfort and reliability. The elevators are smooth, making it easy to get around. The beds in the rooms are just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. Staff members Harlan and concierge Gavin were gentle and patient, providing detailed explanations when we asked about directions or how to adjust the hot water. The hotel is very well-maintained; you can't tell it's twenty years old, and the hygiene standards are consistently high. Right downstairs, there's a shopping mall and Central Park, making it convenient for walks and dining. Compared to trendy new hotels, this kind of well-established, twenty-year-old local institution feels much more reassuring. Our whole family felt relaxed and comfortable, making it perfect for family travel.

Had a wonderful 3-day, 2-night trip with my good friends and their families. Regarding service: Our butler, Cindy, was always online and ready to help. The engineering uncle braved the heavy rain to set up the projector for the kids and greeted us warmly the next day. Xu Chenhao from the activities department was a warm and engaging young man, teaching us kayaking techniques, sharing the resort's development story, and taking beautiful photos for every family. The children's club staff were also very welcoming, inviting us to try out various fitness equipment. Regarding cleanliness: Housekeeping was prompt and thorough. Regarding dining: The Chinese restaurant was quite good. However, breakfast was a bit mediocre with limited options. By 10 AM, they almost stopped restocking food. Suggestion: Upon check-in, we were offered an upgrade from 2 rooms to 3 rooms, but then told the third room was locked, effectively making it no upgrade at all. They only reluctantly opened it after we complained. I suggest training the front desk staff on what a room upgrade actually means. It might have been better not to offer an upgrade at all if they weren't clear on it.

Our stay at the Kempinski Hotel Suzhou on Jinji Lake was incredibly pleasant. The hotel boasts unparalleled views of Jinji Lake from the moment you step in. The lobby is grand and elegant, while the rooms are clean, spacious, and offer breathtaking lake views. The facilities are excellent, including a heated swimming pool and a children's play area, making it perfect for both leisure and family getaways. The breakfast spread is extensive with a wide variety of choices. A special shoutout to Yolanda from Guest Relations! Her communication before and during our stay was patient and meticulous. She proactively understood our needs and responded promptly throughout, providing attentive and thoughtful service. When issues arose, she actively coordinated and resolved them with professionalism and kindness. Her detailed and personalized service truly made us feel valued. The exceptional hardware combined with such warm service truly showcases Kempinski's high standard of hospitality. Highly recommended, we will definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit to Suzhou!

Being a Park Hyatt establishment, it naturally doesn't disappoint. The soft texture of the red bean cheesecake, the smooth creaminess of the strawberry cream cake, and the rich aroma of the cappuccino all effortlessly help you forget the pressures of work and the fatigue of daily life, allowing you to immerse yourself in rare relaxation and comfort. Excellent Service: That's simply what it is – wonderful service. Park Hyatt Suzhou's service embodies the Park Hyatt philosophy of prioritizing guests, often providing unexpected surprises through meticulous details. For instance, Xizhou Xuan will help guests with birthday table arrangements and provide exquisite birthday treats; The Living Room will proactively help guests warm up their food separately and multiple times based on their arrival order; the front office will prepare delicate welcome gifts (fruits, desserts, red wine) according to the theme of the guests' stay; and housekeeping will even proactively provide laundry detergent based on guests' potential laundry needs. Special thanks to the hotel's management and operations team for their attentive care and consideration during my family's stay. This includes some staff whose names I know and many more whose names I couldn't remember: Front Office Manager Gerrard, Duty Manager Linda, Xizhou Xuan Manager Simon, Assistant Manager Claire, staff members Andrew and Luna, The Lounge Manager Cici, and Housekeeping's Dai Fengli, among others. The bathroom is generously sized with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to take in the entire Suzhou nightscape – it truly sets a wonderful, relaxing mood. On the downside, dining options nearby are limited; to experience authentic Suzhou cuisine, you'll need to venture into the city, as there are no traditional local eateries close by. The breakfast buffet is just average, with a limited selection of drinks and a frequently malfunctioning coffee machine. However, the Japanese breakfast is quite authentic, featuring onsen tamago, natto, soba noodles, and ochazuke, which are all quite good.
