Hotel Dengan Gym di Tirana County, Albania

Hello!I liked everything, but want to complain about one of your workers. His name is Elsit Koraj. In my room was not brush and toothpaste. I asked in reception about it, then Elsit Koraj said that he will tell workers to provide me. Then after 10 minutes he came by himself to my room, I wanted to take brush then he said “Can I come in? “. I thought he want to put by himself. But he entered to my room looked around then asked am I alone. Then asked if he can seat, it was very strange . Then I asked to leave my room. After 15 minutes he called to room phone and told “I was in gym, I ran, can I take shower in your room?”. I was angry and told that I will complain to him. That day was afraid to go down because thought only he is in reception and locked my door. Next day I wanted to complain and asked him to call administration. Then he blamed me that I allowed him to enter my room. what is this? What kind of service is this ? When I asked his full name he replied that no need to complain and than he has family and kids. I don’t care about it. You have to prevent others girls from it. That fact that I am young alone foreign girl not means that he can and tell anything he wants. I paid for what? I chose the best hotel for myself, paid not little money for what? For harassment? I was so annoyed and will leave my review everywhere and wil complain. You have to prevent others from him! Also when I asked to invite someone higher rank, he invited sale director. But he was just protecting his colleague telling how long he working there. He even didn’t listen me. I was post in instagram and tiktok, I have enough followers! If you will not take action in relation to him. Also he justified his actions by saying that he was checking whether I was a ********** or not and also accused me of letting him in!!!! What a humiliation!!!

There are a lot of minuses, let's start with the main ones. If you are a blonde, please wear a cap if you go to the pool. I have an ash blonde that I have been trying to achieve for many years, but after their pool my hair turned green. I don't know what they add to the pool! At the time of check-in, when paying in $ cash, they told me that we accept either local currency or €. I decided to pay by card, but the hotel took an extra $30, I didn't notice right away, but as soon as I noticed, I wrote to technical support. When technical support contacted the hotel, the hotel denied that they took an extra $30 from me. Despite the fact that I have a receipt for payment for $30 more and a bank statement. They denied that they took $30 from me, despite the fact that I have all the evidence. When I personally went to the reception to sort it out, they told me that it wasn't them who took $30, but they should have taken $30 because they were converting from dollars to euros from euros to their local currency and this conversion would cost $30. But supposedly the bank was billing me this amount, not the hotel itself, although the bill itself was billed on behalf of the hotel. I didn't like that at all. There were no slippers in the rooms, by the way, they didn't deny that they didn't have slippers. Very strange behavior from the staff. Their breakfasts only last 2 hours and cost €10, but for some reason the breakfast is extremely meager, it's easier to have breakfast for the same amount in a nearby cafe.

I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel, and overall, my experience was very positive. The hotel stands out for its excellent cleanliness, comfortable surroundings, and efficient services. Regarding the location, the hotel isn't in the absolute city center, but this was a conscious choice on my part; I preferred to rely on the reliability and standards of the Mercure brand. In any case, this wasn't an issue as the city center is quickly accessible, and local taxis are very affordable. The only minor inconvenience I encountered – which I'm bringing to Trip.com's attention so they can follow up with their partner – was regarding the application of the city tax. Even though I was traveling alone, during check-out, the hotel initially demanded payment for two people, based solely on the fact that I had booked a double room. However, the city tax applies to the individual staying overnight, not the room itself. The taxable event is the actual overnight stay of a single guest. Although the issue was eventually resolved, I feel it's important to report it to prevent other solo travelers from encountering the same problem. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel where I would gladly return.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Swimming pool and the sauna are amazing. Big shopping mall 5 mins walk. Breakfast can be improve.

Very nice hotel, clean and a pleasant staff. They provided good customer service and they have a good an affordable taxi drop off and pick up service. Their front desk staff is very courteous and all the staff at the hotel as well. Their breakfast meal was nice and tasty I feel they can do better in terms of variety. I enjoyed my stay at Troci and would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Albania 😊.

Amazing staff (reception and restaurant), very nice spa, in front of the hotel you have the bus station that takes you to city center, on the other side of the hotel there is the bus station that takes you to Durres city at the beach Big rooms, good hot water pressure The hotel restauranthas amazing food and it's cheap!!!!

The interior design is truly elegant and the breakfast was delightful. For a 5-star property, a wider selection at breakfast would elevate the experience even more. The addition of a pool and a refined bar area for evening drinks would perfectly complement the hotel’s atmosphere. Overall, a refined and enjoyable stay.

Had a wonderful birthday holiday in Arka hotel ♥️♥️♥️ lovely and aesthetically pleasing beautiful hotel, one of the best in Albania! A must go! Great service xx
